  1. Thank you for the answer. I found the configuration data but cannot locate the file which houses the directory path. And i am using Vortex, i never had trouble finding it using nmm. But vortex is a lot more stable than the now very outdated nmm.
  2. I am trying to copy my fallout 4 mod installations to my travel laptop and am wondering where vortex stores configuration files for the mod location. As fallout is installed in the same location on my laptop but on a different drive letter. And the online instructions only pertain to everything being in the exact same location as nexus mod manager could otherwise assume that the mods are not installed or have been deleted. So where do i find settings file containing the path to the downloads and staging folders? I figure editing them manually would allow me to move it while bypassing that issue.
  3. So minor background info. Having recently got a new laptop i thought it was finally time to switch and update everything as it had been way to long. So i downloaded vortex and got everything working. Now i am wanting to move my downloaded mods to my main pc and start building from there. Moving them went well and nexus mod manager sees them and even categories most of them. Unfortunately it seems like the link to the nexus site from the mods is missing though. So i am looking for which file stores the mod ID's and copy it over as well. As i don't fancy redownloading everything again just to get the id's working.
  4. I have been looking for a player home with lots of display area to use. And i seem to have trouble finding one, i have tried building my own but i am just no good at building homes using the settlement builder. Or to be more accurate i lack the skills and possibly patience to build a halfway decent looking home. I can build something practical just fine but tend to fail at making it look halfway decent. I'm not looking for something that is especially pretty and well done like red rocket player home mod or any of those. because as beautiful as i find them i just dont find them practical. (read, lack of display area) Does anyone know of a home mod with plenty of display area that does not look to out of place in the world?
  5. In response to post #41278080. #41278130, #41278440, #41278790 are all replies on the same post. agreed
  6. damm, been that long already. I can still remember reading that the nexus had reached one million members. Time sure flies
  7. im sorry to say this but the new layout really is a down grade compared to the preveius layout. it just is not practical.
