  1. I was told to post here if I was interested in joining, story-wise, for after you've finished with EG and intend to move onto Rebuilding Forts. You've probably thought of this, but my idea was that you include RF as part of the EG storyline, in order to help stop the 'new evil that rises in a bid for the throne', and then have it as a continuation afterwards. I don't know the storyline of what you're doing so far, so I can't really put down some ideas that'll be incorporated with EG.
  2. I've got the amulet that I'm supposed to give the person who will write me a recommendation, however, she won't recognise me having it. My quest log is up to date to the point where I'm supposed to give it to her, and Agata recognises that I have it. So now I can't join the Mages Guild.
  3. Throughout Oblivion there's a lot of abandoned forts full of bandits, etc.. I had this idea that I think could be made into a reasonably good mod. One that I'd definitely use, anyway. You start off by probably reading a sheet of parchment probably anywhere in an inn or shop. It's like the Assasination! parchment, which delivers news. You read about how a few Imperial Soldiers that were wearing a slightly different armour to the regular Imperial Armour were found dead in an Imperial Fort surrounded also by bodies of bandits. And thus a quest starts. You head to the office of a new faction (can't think of a name. Basically it's just a special branch of the Imperial Legion.) to speak to the commander/captain there, and ask to sign up. He turns you down, saying he doesn't believe you'd be a good soldier or something like that. You then head to Jauffre in Cloud Ruler Temple (must have completed the main quest storyline at least up to the point where Martin is rescued and you take them there). Jauffre will write a letter of recommendation, and you take that back to the captain. Being a good captain, he still doesn't believe you 100%, but he trusts you enough to let you go on a raid with a small squad of soldiers (about 4 or 5) to an abandoned fort, where you proceed to kill all the bandits and secure it. The soldiers will send you back to the captain to tell him, and he accepts you. You are given access to more of the building he's situated in, like beds and an armoury with a blacksmith in. You are given the modified Imperial Armour to wear, which means you now have access to places where normally you couldn't go, like Imperial Barracks, etc, but you must be wearing the armour at the time of entry. Now you can do whatever you want. However, head back to the captain at anytime and you can start something (not an actual quest, but similar) where you meet a squad of Imperial Soldiers that are part of your faction at a certain location, then proceed to an abandoned fort to kill the bandits and secure it. Head back to the captain once this is finished and he'll give you a small reward. The forts you've secured, after heading back to the captain to receive your reward, will be rebuilt so whenever you head back they'll have a contingent of soldiers, with a captain controlling them. After doing this about 5-7 times, the captain will organise a big mission in which he and an extra amount of soldiers will come along (which will add up to maybe 15 soldiers or so overall) to a custom built fort from the mod in which a very large gang of mauraders/bandits will reside. During the battle that follows, the captain will be killed. The soldiers from your faction will ask you to take over, so you do. Because you are now the captain/commander/leader of an Imperial Legion faction, you now have access to other places, such as Count/Countess Quarters in castles, areas in imperial palace, etc. Also, as captain, you have access to a map of abandoned forts, in which you can send soldiers to, as long as you accompany them. As well as that, the fort in which the original captain died would be developed into a small town, which although would have walls surrounding it and soldiers guarding it, would be open (like Cloud Ruler Temple). Constructive criticism on this idea would be nice.
