You know at the beginning, where Doc Mitchell is about to send you out the door to start the game and he says "Here's all the stuff you had on you" What script in the GECK is the one that actually gives you the items? I'd like to add to that script a little bit.

Could someone please create 2 new presets for New Vegas please? I'm requesting someone copy Dad and Colonel Autumns head from Fallout 3 and somehow put them into New Vegas as a preset choice. I'm pretty sure that this can be done. - Matt

For example, let's say I'm making a display with some clutter material like toilet plungers and maybe some party hats. What do I have to do in order to make it so that they can't be picked up, or moved by anything - IE: Walking into them or explosions? I'm making these as custom items - not overriding the default ones.

Help with Ammo for Custom Rock-it Launcher

I finally figured it out, thanks man. I got stuck after I solved the ammo problem, the projectile itself was still a problem. For some reason even with the Rock-it Launcher Ammo projectile selected, like the normal Rock-it launcher has, it kept firing missiles... I had to make a custom 8-ball projectile in order for it to actually fire the 8-ball out of the launcher... Now if I could just find a way to retrieve the 8-ball after it's fired I'll be in serious business... I know I know "Why do you want to retrieve it if you have unlimited ammo?" The short answer is realism. -
I'm trying to build a custom Rock-it Launcher using the geck, but I keep running into a problem that I can't sort out. :wallbash: I want this Rock-it Launcher to have unlimited ammo and be able to shoot nothing but 8-Balls. In the "Ammo Use" box in GECK, I wrote "0" but the gun still uses ammo. In the Ammunition dropdown box, I've selected "RockItLauncherAmmo" - Do I need to create a custom Ammunition for it, or is there something I'm missing here? If I do have to create a custom Ammuntion, what do I select for the projectile?

That's pretty lame... I would have surely thought that someone would have created a mod that puts Burke back into the game after refusing his offer by now. All I find are companion mods for him... again, lame. -

Puts him back into the game if you refuse his offer to blow up Megaton, and suggesting he leave? I've got Talon Company Assassins after me now because he put a price on my head. Is there a mod that puts him back into the game after this, so's I can kill him in order to stop the Hit Contract? Because that would be cool.

Well, can that be done then? If possible I'd like to get a version of the filmy lingerie on the partially nude Exnem body I've provided, as well as one with the body fully nude.

No no, the other way around. I want to over ride the lingerie with the Exnem UV. I'm sorry that I've made this sound more complicated than it needed to be. That lingerie .nif isn't 100% stock, it's actually this filmy see through mesh seen here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13279 To be blunt, when using the Exnem textures on that lingerie, the buttocks appears on the left breast and the vagina appears on the left knee.

I posted this in another forum and got tons of views but no replies. Would somebody PLEASE give this a shot as I have no idea how to go about fixing this. So here's the deal. I've got 2 .nif files. The UV in one of them does not display a texture correctly. I need someone who knows what they're doing, to delete the UV in one .nif, and copy the UV from the other over to the other one. Just a warning to would-be downloaders, this is a link to a partially nude female body replacer and a lingerie model. If this offends you don't bother complaining. If you open outfitf.nif in NifSkope, in the block list go down to the line that says "29 NiTriStrips" Right click > Texture > Edit UV ^ This is the bad UV. This UV needs to be deleted. Now, if you open femaleupperbody.nif, in the block list go down to the line that says "39 NiTriStrips" Right click > Texture > Edit UV ^ This is the good UV. This UV needs to replace the bad UV in the other .nif file I have ZERO idea how to do this. I've come to the conclusion that it cannot be done in NifSkope. I have no idea how to run Blender or any other 3D Model Software - it's all greek to me. I would be ETERNALLY greatful if someone could do this for me. Thank you, - Matt

Yeah well, you COULD have not been so vague in what you wanted, no where in your original post did you ask for a female metal helmet, nor did you mention you had already looked at the one I created. Details like this may help to get your far in life. Nevertheless, I do feel that it is time that I updated that retexture to include a female version. I'll keep you posted, should have one ready for you in a couple hours if not sooner.

I don't know. You're asking the wrong person, maybe someone else would know. Honestly though, and I'm taking a wild guess here, unless it's a specially made scripted NPC like Harold the talking tree, I doubt you'd be able to do it 'easily'. The games mechanics seem to classify a body as 'dead' when it loses a limb. It may be hard coded like VATS so I don't see it happening - but then again, I may be totally wrong.
