Modding isnt for everyone. It took me 3 months to get the hang of it as a beginner with zero experience. Theres all sorts of stuff Ive learned over the years and still a bunch of stuff I dont know and likely will never have the time to learn them because life is busy. I started with xedit because its easy and more organized to my brain than the creation kit. I recommend just messing around seeing how the game records are set up maybe look at other mods and see how they set things up. My first mod was an update of another mod and it wasnt perfect but as you learn you can go back and fix those things.
When they brought donation points to the site I decided I was going to save up for the lifetime membership and was actually just a few days away from getting enough DP to buy it when they decided to cancel that option. I think it took me almost 1 1/2 or maybe even 2 years to save that much and I ended up reaching out and asking whether they could keep it for mod authors in the shop which they allowed. Im still very grateful for that.
Its still playable. If the update broke your mods try updating F4SE.
Also make sure your mods dont conflict because some of those errors sound like conflicts to me.
In fo4edit find the outfits you dont want. Check to see if their attached to any other records and delete those. Just becareful of removing some records like leveled lists just remove the entry in the leveled list dont delete the whole thing etc. Also before you delete the armor check the file path for the meshes then I believe the mesh has the file path for material files and material files have the path for textures. Just make sure not to delete something thats in use elsewhere.
You can try removing the esp from your game folder then put it back in. You can also see is its active on the mods menu in the main menu of the game. Sometimes the esps can get switched off for some reason
Im getting an error trying to install my FOMOD and was hoping someone can help me out. Getting it on NMM and Vortex.
"The type attribute is invalid - the value selectany is invalid according to its datatype String - The enumeration constraint failed"
Hi all, Im trying to find changes a mod made to the worldscape and Im wondering if theres a way to search for the objects added/moved in the creation kits world editor so I can visibly see what was moved/added.
Dont edit the fallout4.esm directly thats a no no. That sounds like a loadorder error. Place the new mod you made higher up in your loadorder using your mod manager then try to add your new keyword to other mods
