  2. Is the author of AWKCR aware of this already? I see people have posted in the AWKCR mod discussion however I don't see anyone saying that 7.4 works. I can confirm that AWKCR v7.4 works for me as well, crashes stopped. I was on 7.5 and the above posts suggest 7.6 crashes as well.

  4. What's the solution? Removing AWKCR?! That would mean removing Armorsmith Extended which requires AWKCR.. and then any armor mods that require that which is a lot. Ok, first I'm going to update AWKCR and AE as they both posted updated files in the last few days that I didn't have. I hope that might help?
  5. I have a similar issue. When Danse gives me the Brotherhood laser rifle as a reward for completing the "Call to Arms" quest the game instantly crashes every time. Any ideas? I'm using a lot of mods. AE, AWKCR, etc.. Thanks

The alien-blaster from killing the alien by the campfire crashes the game too. I can use console cmd, CompleteQuest 0006f5c1, to complete the quest although Danse still stands there waiting to talk to me and give me that crash-inducing rifle :\ Would be nice to have the console command to force him to get unstuck from waiting to talk it out and crash my game ; )
  7. I've installed a lot of mods and I guess it's one of them. I have the VR optimization mods, Optimized Vanilla Textures mod, and Texture Overhaul Project. None of these overwrite each other looking in MO2. Any ideas? Thanks

  9. @cptmrcalm, thanks though in SteamVR Settings the Camera is set to off by default. 2 things solved it: Lower display settings to minimum (draw distances, etc) & keeping the Windows focus on MO2 (mod organizer 2). My unique situation: running SkyrimVR through MO2 & my Alienware laptop's nVidia graphics card has it's HDMI output run through the motherboard which probably bottlenecks to some degree the connection to the HMD, headset. I found that lowering the performance settings in all of my games (though especially SkyrimVR and FO4 VR) helps the Grey-headset/screen issue a lot. Also I have to be aware if the Windows focus changes and where it is. I'm running SkyrimVR and FO4VR through MO2 so the Windows focus needs to be on MO2 (unless I need to quickly enter some console commands/cheats, then toggle the focus back to MO2 with Alt+Tab). Also running the SteamVR RoomSetup is a good idea every once is awhile or if tracking and grey-screen issues raises it's ugly head. Things are working well now that I've figured out how.
  10. @kevkiev Thanks for the ideas. I'll take a look at that. @bbiller Re: Pack Attack, I've been using the older, non-F4SE version as I'm in VR so I don't think the stability issues with updating PackAttack's old scripts wouldn't apply to me I don't think.
  11. I'd guess a mod is causing this but I don't know which, there's so many. Either Cait or Piper says this Everytime I enter VATS, "Better make this count, you bastard." I'd like it to stop. Any ideas? My mods list (thanks for suggesting, Undeadbob), Thanks (It reminds me of Skyrim comments made when you clone your character that's part of the game and unremovable.)
  12. I've found that so far the only things that seem to help constant tracking loss (grey HMD screen) other than opening the menu is if I move my head more and maybe keeping the temperature down for my computer.
  13. I get the light grey screen on my Vive HMD which indicated lost head-tracking. Sometimes it just happens a bit then other times it's happening constantly until I press the menu button. The menu comes up and the headset image is restored for just a bit longer than I leave it open. What's strange is that the amount this happens varies greatly from none to non-stop. Also why would the menu restore the tracking and there-by the HMD image. Any ideas? *other than opening menus the other thing that can help is moving my head though this has limited success it does at least for a bit bring back the tracking if I'm getting constant grey screen (lost tracking). I noticed most often this happens in outside environments when it's especially bad (100% grey screen until menu button pressed then after a second image restores). Its not that it can't happen inside but just today I was in an inside cell and the grey screen was not that bad, then I go outside and it's horrible. I also noticed that lowering the VR performance settings doesn't seem to help at all, even after a reboot. Then later the same outside area will run like butter, so hard to nail down what it is. Removing my other USB cables, lowering the room temperature with AC, "tickling" the HMD to keep it reasonably away while the game boots up, nothing seems to nail down the issue in a predictable cause. It took me a long time to realize this was a tracking issue and not a video, or performance, or mod issue for when it's really bad. A few grey blinks here and there seems normal from what I've seen, especially when enemy NPCs are coming into action. Thanks PS. I tried using the sync cable with the Vive base stations but that didn't help. I also checked in SteamVR>Settings>Developer>Room Overview and it looked good there. I'm surprised none of that seemed to help at all.

  16. I've never used an installer or installer version of F4SE. I simply manually install it. The 2 DLL files, the loader file, and the Data/Scripts folder. Just copy/paste into the root game folder. Done
  17. That's good to know. It would be nice if the included Readme would included the detail about installing the Data/Scripts folder included as what I read in the Readme makes no mention of it in what files are to be installed. Thank you
  18. I think I accidentally installed the Data/Scripts folder that's included in F4SE into my game. In the Readme it doesn't mention installing the Scripts folder included with F4SE. Should I remove the Script files that I installed into my game when installing F4SE? Thanks PS. I don't suppose this has anything to with the messages I keep getting in the upper-left screen, "Scan" and "Stop"? The messages keep appearing.
  19. The key for me at least going forward now has been to not delete the old FNIS created "mod" I generated through MO until after I generate new FNIS files. Then delete the old FNIS folder/created mod within MO and right-click the Overwrite folder and create new "mod". I'm not sure if you necroed this thread for help? ------------------- If you do, here's what I have from my notes: "No matter what I did trying to install "FNIS Behavior Always Necessary" mod through Mod Organizer would not work because FNIS will always generate missing creature files (only if you use creature pack). - So I manually installed it. FNIS Note: When you uninstall a mod that uses FNIS Creatures, you first have press the "De-Install Creatures" button, before you run the "Update FNIS Behaviors" // "dogbehaviour.hkx (or draugrbehavior.hkx) error when running FNIS? If you get this error with Mod Organizer, chances are pretty high that you have your FNIS 3 mods set at a higher priority than a unmanaged addons (such as dragonborn or dawnguard) in your left pannel. To fix this issue into the MO VM, you just need to move your FNIS mods priority under these unmanaged addons. (It also works when you install FNIS outside of MO because in this case, the mod priority doesnt exist anymore for FNIS. However, its not a very clean way to fix this issue.)"
  20. I have Enhanced Wasteland Preset installed. It used to work fine. Now my game crashes immediately upon launching the game. I removed the dxgi.dll that comes with EW Preset and the game works. What's going on and any ideas how to get the preset working again with it's dxgi.dll file? Thanks
