  1. i'm sorry but i don't familiar with moding mechanism,but i'm 200% support you and your team (there has to be!) to bring forth awesome mods for xcom fans,hip hip huraaaay for daemon :D btw,what's the first project you'll be doing??can you share any preview on what's on your mind?hehe :) ooh,one question,what do you mean by way to distribute the mod?is it other than a patcher.bat or just like TES,FO style (copy paste,make folder etc etc)? sorry for asking a lot of questions,got very excited :D
  2. It's not in the inis. Many people are hoping for such changes, so pretty soon after daemonjax and other awesome people get the repack thing working, we'll be golden :) yeah,it would be awesome if we can have a free camera + enhanced zoom in features..it can be used as a pseudo-3rd person sometimes inside the battlefield..which is awesome!! on the other,i'll be looking forward for a detailed customize char mod :D
  3. so far i can't find any camera zoom lines in the defaultcore files...did i looked in the wrong .ini?? well,if it's possible,i would love to have an enhanced zoom..so i could look at my soldier a bit more close...or,if it's doable,instead of an isometric style,it would've been great if it can be toggle as a free camera (X,Y,Z axis) :D
  4. Balancemods or anything in the ini for that matter cannot be used to modify individual soldiers. You can only modify soldiers as a whole or their progression. Individual soldier modification would require a save game editor. i see...then is there any lines that separates between soldiers stats on the barracks and on the starter??or they do counts as a whole group inside the scripts as well?
  5. been looking in the compiled scripts,is there any lines in there to promote just one soldier in the starting mission (not hired thru barracks) into a colonel??it can be done with xp level tho,but i think that counts when we finished the starter mission and can get the modified xp level all the way thru colonel... am i missing any lines?or i can use the balancedmods to modified just one soldier out of four in the starter mission?
  6. hmm the only thin i can find in the difficulty section is the modifier balanced mods..aren't this for the increase stats instead of the base?or am i looking in the wrong section? btw,thanks for info man,gonna try it :D hey man,sorry,i didn't know it was already made there hehehe,cheers :D
  7. hey guys been wondering after seeing the compiled scripts on the pinned sectioned,is there anyways to change the starting soldier stats or the initial recruits on the base?? i would love to do 2nd run on Impossible IM,but this time i would love at least i have 1 soldier that has a max ranks (be it sniper,assault,heavy or support)..i wanted to feel like in the war movie where the squad were placed on the grim situation with a limited resources and all of that handicapped the squads against aliens,there's ONE protagonist that stood out amongst other and leads them to victory over time LOL so long story short,is there any scripts on the .exe that can be altered to suit my needs? thanks guys :) OOOHHH and BTW!!!is there anyway,again,in the scripts that allows us to change the zoom level on the battlefield?i would really love to see my guys from time to time up close :D
