  1. I have to agree with this. I've only had a very small amount of issues with the graphics, and those were: The trees still aren't perfect, the water flows directly into and through land, and there was one rendering glitch once where the texture refused to change from low quality "distant" textures to close textures until I quick travelled away and back again. Oh, and viewing things in the distance is still blocky and bad, especially the water. But seriously, I love the graphics, and think it looks amazing. I'm an extreme perfectionist, so all my issues are just little irritants that I personally wish were improved. I have 29, nearly 30 hours of gameplay (sad because I've had the game for about 60 hours xD ), and I've only had three random CTDs, which were all caused by background programs deciding to troll me.
  2. The fact that they exist doesn't bother me, but the thing that gets to me is the lack of SENSIBLE gear for females. There is some here and there, but a very large portion is just tasteless. By all means, people should make what they want, but if you want my little bit of opinion, they should at least give consideration to the other portion of people by simply making a smaller breast size to go along with the large one, thus appealing to a larger audience. It is also doesn't take much to swap a texture path (and property), so the revealing issue isn't really much of an issue. And, before anyone says anything about it, I am learning to use blender so I can do personal and/or public edits of gear, depending on the permissions given.
  3. I can agree with this =/ Every time I get a modded set of armor for a female character, I usually have to edit the mesh and change the texture path of the skin texture to be chainmail so it is at least a LITTLE less revealing =I And people should stop making gear for D+ breast sizes -.- it's just retarded.
  4. You would need extended hotkeys or you would have a lot of wasted spaces and would then need to get everything ELSE from the menu. Giving a single key that can toggle two sets of gear, that isn't a hotkey, would allow us to change gear for the situation and still have spare keys for weapons and other things.
  5. If anyone has armors that are for B or less, or even C, you can go ahead and pm them to me, so I can compile a list and catagorize them all by sizes. And for anything that is C+ that anyone would like shrunk, go ahead and post them so I can extend the "awaiting" list. As I said earlier, I will need a proper screenshot "guide", or even just images that show what you mean with no comprehensive walkthrough, or I'll just be completely lost.
  6. Before I say anything, sorry for semi-raging. I'm just sorta getting sick of actually getting the motivation to do something then finding out it's been done before already. It's been happening a hell of a lot lately =/ .. I'll edit the OP for those four and add in some extra information in a moment. edit: Ok, OP edited. All suggestions for armor that isn't done would be good for that list, and if a list hasn't been made before, I might consider putting a list of all AA, A, B and C cup armors in the general area for all members to see, so they can find other armors easier.
  7. -facepalm- shows how little I actually see when I LOOK for mods -.o Should I just throw this whole damn idea in the trash and call myself a moron from now on? Because every time I try doing something useful, it turns out its already been done, and I didn't see for some retarded reason, no matter how hard I look.
  8. I have exams to worry about, so for the very near future, this weekend is all the spare time I've got where I won't be nagged. And, I just mean the basic controls, not the things I need to know to get the resizing done. If I could learn that in a basic walkthrough of the controls, I wouldn't be making this thread. Here's a few I plan to do: Iron Maiden Armor Forbidden Armor Modified Eyrens Vampire Hunter Armor Baron Armor There are more, but there's a few for now.
  9. I'm talking about resizing armors that have NOT been done. I know there are a bunch, but it just happens that all the ones I actually like the look of, are stupidly oversized. I do have Blender, and I have all my vanilla meshes resized thansk to a handy mod, but generally all the armors I want are just stupidly oversized. I don't really know much about using Blender, but over the weekend I plan to learn and memorize the controls. As I said, any guides as to what to do (including how to use references well) will be handy and welcome
  10. Odd, my Oblivion works with Alt+Tab just fine. on topic: While the reasoning for me agreeing isn't the same, I do think having the ability to toggle two sets of gear would be very handy. Especially if Bethesda decide to impliment a weight~speed system, where the heavier your equipped gear is, the slower you run. Having the ability to swap between two sets of gear would give you the ability to have light gear for travelling, and heavy gear for fighting.
  11. Shouldn't be hard. Make an enchanted amulet that gives you EXTREMELY powerful buffs, then add it to a very early area in the game. Giving enchantments such as Water Breathing, Fortify Health +62000, Shield 100%, etc. would make you almost literally invincible. If you wish, I can add it to my to-do list, since I plan to do some serious modding in the early days of Skyrim :3
  12. This could be a very awesome mod. I would love to see many thing implimented, and the ability to hunt monsters and creatures, harvest materials from their corpses, and then craft gear and items and definitely one of the ones I'd like to see most. And some of those weapons look hilariously horrible, or just plain ridiculous xD .. so original weapons would have to be made for this mod to be taken seriously. edit: Well, what I wanted was implimented in the vanilla game (to an extend). Awesome.
  13. The second I saw "Shields can only be wielded in the left hand", I instantly thought "No dual shields? D: " lol
  14. I've been looking around, and I've decided there are simply not enough female armor mods that have breast sizes B and lower. So, I was considering "fixing" that issue by converting mods, after getting the permissions from the original authors. HOWEVER, I've been looking around, and I can't find a single guide that covers this. So, would anyone be willing to give me a step by step guide, or more preferably, a video/screenshot guide to what to do to compress the armor, so that it has a smaller breast size? If I can be taught how to do this, I will likely continue to do this with Skyrim mods, as I'm going to be getting Skyrim the day it comes out (I have it preordered, yay), and will be taking requests as to what to convert. --Edit-- Here's a list of all armors that have been considered, seperated into "done" and "awaiting". Awaiting Baron Armor (not done for HGEC, but done for BAB) Done Iron Maiden Armor/Dynasty Armor (Conversion) Forbidden Armor (Conversion included) Modified Eyrens Vampire Hunter Armor (Done for A and C but not for B (Conversion))
  15. Well, basically, I am making a mod that will add many overpowered weapons to the game, by putting them in the leveled lists for enemies and in vendor lists. These weapons DO have a sense of balance, in the way that all require high skills to use, as well as either the money to buy them, or the skills to take down an enemy who is equipped with these weapons. All weapons also have various power levels, most having five tiers, the fifth being significantly more powerful than the first, but also much rarer in the game. This mod is inspired by Borderlands, because I found that the weapons on Borderlands were much more fun to use than the Fallout weapons, but overall Fallout was a more fun game to play. So, I decided to mix the two best things: Borderlands' weapons with Fallout's.... everything else. What this thread exists for, is to see what people think of the idea, and to also get weapon ideas from people. In the final version, all contributers will be credited, which is the main reason for using forum threads for suggestions. Currently, I have 27 definite weapons and 4 possible weapons on my weapon list, and will not be releasing this mod until I have a minimum of 50 weapons. In the future, I will also be planning to add more, even more powerful, unique weapons that can only be found by killing a certain enemy, a boss that will be added in that same version in the form of a quest. I also plan to colour-code all weapons so that they are recognizeable in their tiers, rather than having to work out the tier by looking at things like the power, ammo and weight of the gun. I'll cut this short here, since I've dragged it on, but anyway... What are your opinions on this mod, Nexus? And more importantly, do you have suggestions that could help increase my list of weapons? EDIT: Oh, and I thought I should note, I CAN NOT MAKE MESHES! So all weapons suggested either must use weapon shapes originally in the game, or must be from modders' resources, and come with their own textures.
  16. Just so everyone knows, here's the things I tried: Altering the Ambient, Diffuse, Specular, Emmisive levels. Setting all textures to APPLY_MODULATE Check the names of the materials Altering the Alpha Layer of the textures The one that had the best effect was the Alpha Layer altering.
  17. Tried. It had little to no effect. Anyway, altering the normal map by deleting the alpha layer and replacing it with a completely black layer fixed it entirely.
  18. Ok, it worked ^-^ Thanks. I had to alter the normal maps and make the Alpha layer completely black. ....Someone should make an official thread for fixing issues with shinyness. I've seen it come up a lot o-o
  19. I'll take a look. Will let you know if it helped or not. Thanks in advance, anyway, for replying :3
  20. I'm doing a retexture of Jojjo's Silverlight Armor (link), but the armor is just too shiny for the retexture to work properly. Instead of being black and "damaged" looking, the armor appears shiny silver, due to it reflecting too much light. I've tried messing with the meshes in NifSkope, altering the different colour settings as suggested on the wiki, and am wondering if there is a better guide anyone else can post. Tomorrow, if there are no responses, I'll bump this with two screenshots, one with the light settings at normal, and one with the "Toggle Light Brite" console command used. The second one shows the retex as it is meant to be, without reflecting light, and the first one shows it as it ends up. Any help would be welcomed. ^-^
  21. Thanks for the tip, LHammond! ^^ I'll be sure to keep that in mind, it'd be very useful for "confusing" textures, such as Glass.
  22. I would personally prefer to stick to base swords, because I dislike the idea of uploading other people's meshes and the such, but I'll see what I can do. It may be a while, though, because of personal.. "issues".. However, really think about it, which sword would you want the most to be inscribed? Put all of the ones you listed in order, so I know where to look first.
  23. Ok, tell me what the name is (unless it's "avis"), what armor set/weapon you would like inscribed, if you want the armor inscribed, where do you want it inscribed, etc. etc. I am unsure if I can do armor or glass weapons, because the textures are confusing, but I can give it a shot, if you wish. I can also do colour changes on the weapons at the same time. EDIT: Sorry it took so long to reply, I keep forgetting to check my articles for replies =\ lol
  24. Makes you wonder what kind of morons we share this world with, huh? Personally, I was not affected by this hacking, which is not too surprising considering there is 1,986,718 members (at the time of this comment, anyway), but I know how P/O'd Boone of the Wasteland would be, since that has happened to me before as well, but luckily Gmail caught on fast and halted the spam messages from being sent and locked my account temporarily.
  25. I find the file size disturbingly small lol.. Downloading anyway just to try it out
