    Project Nevada Crash upon launching fallout,

    Is Project Nevada incompatiable with any mods? I used to be able to use it with my mods.. but now whenever i launch fallout new vegas it goes to the little intro and immidiatly crashes, I tried the possible solutions to no avail, this is an awsome mod and id love to play it again, Another note, I deleted all mods and reinstalled new vegas and tried project new vegas again and it still wouldnt work, is their a problem with the way the developer uploaded it?

     

     

    Delete the Data\menus folder and re-install project nevada. Be careful when installing any other UI mods. I couldn't get iHuD to work with PN.

Problem: My game crashes right after starting it!

Solution: Yes, that's pretty annoying! There are basically two things that can cause this:
1) A missing master file (some plugins depend on other plugins, and if they can't find them the game crashes)
 If related to Project Nevada, this happens if you didn't install the Core plugin (which is required by all other modules!)
 Fix it, by installing the Core module as well.
 
2) A missing interface file.
 This one is a little trickier. If an interface file is used somewhere that does not exist anymore, the game crashes.
 To fix it, delete the menus/ folder in your Data/ directory, then reinstall any interface-related mods
 (for example MTUI, DarnUI, but also Project Nevada since it uses those interface files as well).

    I'm looking for someone who is much smarter than I to tell me what mods they use in the game. Really I'm looking for someone whos list doesnt conflict with itself and cause random crashes. I don't like nude mods, even if i did my fiance would *censored* about it (LOL). Depth of field mods that will fix the far away textures from blinking is a must. Underground hideout is a must. Headshot mods is a must. Weather mods are a must. Dark Night mods are a must. Lighting mods for the darker Night is not a must but would be nice. A Brighter pipboy mod would be helpful. I also like non human companions. Mainly small creatures. Perk every level. Hmm I think thats about it really.

     

    Oh also, For the flamers, If your going to seriously whine and complain and not help me, Don't waste your time on this thread go somewhere else I can't stand negetivity I'm in an ecellent mood today and I'll be damned if i'm going to let a fail troll ruin it.

    Before installing, know that JBtextures 2.0 needs more RAM and VRAM from your computer than the game's default textures (Double the amount). Expect the game's loading times to increase (5 - 10 seconds more than usual).

     

    this is from the description of a texture mod for Dao. I have 12 gigs of ram and i set my pagefile to "No pagefile" awhile back because i never run out of ram because i have 12 gigs of it. I've never understood the concept of Vram all i know is that when you set a page file this would make your pc slower. Should I be worried? I was told that once you run out of physical ram then and only then would you use virtual ram

    Ok so i know what obmm boss obse do. However i have no clue as to what Wyre bash does. I don't know how to use it where i couldnt find legit answers to it on what it does and how to use it. I've been reading things about Bash patch and stuff like that. I'm confused on it. I downloaded the exe and installed it to Oblivion directory. I have obse. I dowloaded the mod all natural weather. and created the omod for it. So do i just activate the mod and run oblivion and it works? Ive read something about a bash patch but i dont know what that is. Can anyone take the time to explain to me what wyre bash is or send me to a site regarding exactly how to use it.

    Um honestly I'm not to good with what is what in a computer, like name-wise. Would the motherboard be like Intel Pentium 4?

    Yeh. I knew that, and I did say that too. Just kind of wasn't thinkin bout it.

     

    Ok. uhhh your monitor does not have to be hd to support an hd card. lets see if you dont have the correct output or whatever it is from your card to your monitor you can get various wires that will be something like hdmi to vga dva to hdmi whatever it is most likely your gonna need to disable your on board graphics through bios even if you say its not there it is probably.. anyway.

    Help with creating comapnions

    Easy short-cut method:

    1 - Find Veronica or Boone or one of the other companions in the GECK,

    2 - Open them up

    3 - Edit as desired

    4 - Play game and get that companion with your new look, items and what-not.

    4.5 - Make your char suit the voice and it's pretty neat.

     

    I used enhanced children and changed Veronica into a kid. It's hilarious watching a little girl trounce a group of raiders with a powerfist.

     

    Otherwise there's this. But it's old and I doubt it'll work in NV. Not the way you want, anyway.

    Good idea, but i want to make animal companions not human..

    I agree totally. I do not want to see male nudes at all. I do however understand why Males would like to have Female mods and such but in all fairness someone should at least make some epic male mods...

     

     

    I'm sure women aren't interested in seeing female nudes either, yet we have multiple variations of them already...it's OK, you won't catch teh gays if someone makes a male one.

     

    Anyway, I could care less about the nudes, I just wish someone would make a mod that would allow me to make male character whose face didn't look like week old refried ass.

    Bullet hit & near-miss sounds

    It really bugs me when I can't tell whether bullets are hitting me or whizzing past me or hitting the ground in front of me. Maybe I am spoiled from games like STALKER that have nice audio effects with their bullets in combat, but it seems like Bethesda half-assed their combat again. Aside from this there is the fact that NPC's are clinically blind beyond 20~ meters, but can still hit you with pin-point accuracy full on with a pistol. They also seem to be oblivious to their situation when I am shooting at them from 50 meters as they walk around like zombies until dead.

     

    Requesting a sound mod for bullet impacts and something to fix blind/clueless NPC's.

    Use a server other than the Denver server as it's still catching up with the launch. Your Premium Membership should work on any of the other servers. Let me know if it doesn't. Denver server will be up a bit later today.
