  1. Pretty good, I would actually try this.
  2. This is a common info for the last 3 years.
  3. He looks like he is talking to himself most of the time. At first I even thought that some of the posts got deleted, lol. Weird. Gotta hit that Edit button buddy. After being on the Internet(even before 1984, wow you're so cool man) so long, you should have known. And no, not everyone has to respect you just because you made a mod. And no, not every mod deserves an endorsement. Your opinion, is just your opinion. Not everyone thinks that way, and they don't have to.
  4. WOW really? Are you that arrogant? You literally want it to be removed instead of just reaching the modder and warn him about this issue? WOW. Just WOW. WOW. What a kid.
  5. There is almost no FPS difference between W7 and W8. It is usually between 0-2, and mostly 0.
  6. @camaro, You don't have to play the game in 4K resolution for screenshotting tho, you can still take a 4K screenshot in 1080p native resolution using the borderless screen thingy in ENB. I tried that and played with the screenshots in PS a lil bit, looks amazing.
  7. Wrong. You don't need to overclock a CPU that is already handling Skyrim with ease. My advice is to not overclock it, save your warranty, and when you need to increase CPU performance, chances are a badass new CPU is on the market for affordable prices. You didn't explain what's wrong about it tho? It just looks like your opinion, which is actually wrong. There is no downside in overclocking a CPU. Doing it so only reduces its lifespan(and this only applies if you go to very high voltages, which you shouldn't in the first place). So If you're not planning to use the same CPU for 6-7 years(you shouldn't be using it that long anyways) there is literally no reason not to overclock it. And seriously? What's the point of getting K version if you're not gonna overclock? What's the point of spending extra money on Z87 board if you're not gonna overclock? He could have just bought regular version and a H87 MB and save money. Maybe spend it on a better GPU. And if I(or any of us in that matter) wanted to just "handle" Skyrim, I could have even played this game with 5 year old build. But gladyl, I don't wanna just "handle". And just like I said, it might get him around 10 FPS in Skyrim, depending on where he is. And seriously no one gives a s*** about warranty, he just needs a better air cooler that's all, and as long as the CPU doesn't pass the 80C limit you're never gonna damage your CPU. Actually there are more things then just voltage that can reduce CPU life. Heat is a big factor for how long a CPU lasts even when not overclocked. A lot of people don't keep their computers dust free thus creating a problem. Why get a K version if you don't overclock it on day one? If the person building the computer is even considering to overclock the at all buy the K version. If overclocking is not going to be considered at all then no the K version is not needed. What if someone does not want to overclock, but the chosen CPU only has a K version? A lot of the motherboard that use overclock-ability as a selling point will also work better at non-overclock speeds because other areas of the board are higher quality. I care about the warranty. I guess that makes me nobody. A CPU does not need to be overheating to be damaged by heat, but no it will not receive the damage as fast. The temperature each CPU model can handle is different, and it is different for each individual CPU. My CPU model has a max temp of 66.8C Warranty is nice when a part fails and the warranty covers it. A good example. I used to have a 500GB Seagate IDE HDD from back when they still had a 5 year warranty, it died about 4-1/2 years into the warranty. When I sent it in for repair Seagate had stopped making IDE drives. I got a 1TB drive back in place of a 500GB IDE HDD. It was more then worth spending about $10USD for shipping. Heat is a big factor? Heat is not a factor, heat comes with high voltage, It's the side effect of high voltage. So I guess we're back to what I said. Only over-voltage does damage the cpu. Well that's wrong also, there is a regular version of 4770K which you can't overclock. Comes with locked multiplier. Big surprise, right? Nope, that's not true also. There is literally no difference between Z87 and H87 motherboards except overclocking feature. And Z87 is more expensive. ( http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Z87-H87-H81-Q87-Q85-B85-What-is-the-difference-473/ ) Do you see the difference? Almost nothing. The temperature each CPU can handle is not really that different at stock speeds. It only starts to vary when you overclock and the difference is not that huge, so as long as you don't use anything higher than 1.3V, you will always be around 70C and maybe even lower, and that's not a huge number. Since you can get 80C with stock fan at stock speeds. It's actually colder than before if you just buy a 30USD air cooler. Probably Hyper Evo 212. And seriously tho, I wouldn't care about a HDD unlike you. HDD is not important, the data in it is the actual important thing. So if they can't give me back my files and stuff, I wouldn't even bother sending it to Warranty after 4.5 years. But whatever, cheap stuff is always good. As you can see, I'm always giving you numbers and talking based on facts that you can easily search on google, take a closer look at some benchmarks and stuff. I'm not just giving you absurd examples like "you're never gonna need that extra 10 fps if you're already getting 120 fps" which is a highly unlikely situation, that you will ever get a 120 FPS with a heavily(it doesn't even have to be heavily modded) modded Skyrim(which is what we are trying to do here right? we're all here cuz we like modding Skyrim)... Note that this is an old test. ( http://www.techspot.com/review/467-skyrim-performance/page7.html ) For the last 3-4 years Overclocking is not that big of a deal. Even some high-end motherboards can OC your CPU with a push of a button. You don't even have to do much. But as always the most ideal way to do it, is from BIOS, where you can actually control your voltage. And the voltage is the only problem you will ever get while Overclocking.
  8. GTX760 only pulls ahead if you need significantly more than 3GB of VRAM. Other than that 280x gives better performance in Skyrim compared to GTX 760. Between 10-20 FPS.

  10. 3.5 is low. OC it to 4.6. You can easily get that value with some $30 air cooler. And 760 is not that great but still decent. You can easily run Skyrim on Ultra, and possible install some demanding mods, but not that much. You should seriously consider overcloking your CPU tho, your MB is good enough too. It might get you around 10 FPS in Skyrim.
  11. Well that's a pretty absurd question afterall. http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ Looks like a lot of people still playing Skyrim. Community is not dead, nexusforums are.
  12. GTX650Ti is not even remotely close to being a "bloody decent gear". You would atleast need a GTX 660Ti. Preferably a GTX 680. And next time take a look at benchmarks, and make sure your card is getting around 100FPS. Oh my... I just read the other pages, so many false info here... People really belive what sellers say? It's their job to sell... They tell anything you wanna hear, they just want you to buy the damn thing that's all... And seriously let's get this straight, SLI doesn't get you more VRAM. 512+512 doesn't make 1024.
  13. If you just carefully look into unofficial patches you'll see how good they are. Game is just too buggy without those. I don't see your reasoning being the decision of not using it. BOSS and LOOT are essentially the same thing, but they do that same thing in different ways. As you may know, there isn't only one solution to a problem : )
  14. Shadows without ENB look awful. Probably one of my main reasons to use an ENB.
  15. Isn't it simple? 760 only pulls ahead if you're gonna use significantly more than 2GB VRAM. If you're planning to stay around 2GB Vram limit then 770 is the best choice here. You can easily use full version of an ENB with that card and install a lot of texture mods. 1K for outdoors and 2K for indoors. As for other games, 770 is again the best choice.
