Marethari's Robes
setiweb replied to stratataisen's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Troubleshooting
I don't use the equipment changes from Improved Atmosphere, but a quick look at the UTC file from that mod for Marethari (bed200cr_keeper.utc) shows that her clothing is changed from the Tevinter Mage Robes to Circle Mage Robes, the gold ones that the Harrowed mages wear. That's what happens when the scope of a mod is everything. -

Dragon Age support for NMM, DA2 support incoming, site splits and top
setiweb replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
In response to post #8332375. #8335660, #8335676 are all replies on the same post. OK with a little url editing I see them now, but I can't see a reference to the new site. http://dragonage2.nexusmods.com Nothing on the nexusmods main page or under my account. -
Dragon Age support for NMM, DA2 support incoming, site splits and top
setiweb replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
In response to post #8332375. And yet perfectly good mods can be made without it. ;) Speaking of DA mods I see 9 of mine have disappeared. I assume this is do to with the database split going on now? -
Good ideas. I've enabled the discussions in the past but nobody has ever used them. I'm still for private threads (for say beta testers) but I forget that mod comments are also in the forums. Is it possible to separate mod comments from the forums or are they one in the same by design and therefore can't be pulled apart?

Find my current face morph?
setiweb replied to WarKittyKat's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
I must be the only modder who's never used the toolset. -
This is caused by an equipment bug. Basically the bonus wasn't added when an item was equipped but was subtracted when taken off. I haven't seen this for a couple of years so make sure you have the latest patch installed. EDIT: or it might be caused by changing equipped item properties via the Editor. Since values are only applied when equipping/unequipping that may cause it.

Find my current face morph?

*IF* you only wish to make minor changes, such as what you could do via the Editor and a .MOR then yes you can. Using the editor you can export the .MOR from the saved game and make limited changes (make-up, hair, eyes, etc...) Without my resources here I can't directly check but from one of my DA2 mods, "Open a saved game within the Editor. 0 --> 16002 --> 16208 --> 16950 SAVEGAME PLAYER MORPH.". Right click and choose Export. That will be your MOR file. After the changes repeat the process but this time choose Import. -
Cool. Thanks.

They have a new update with a screenshot and they've gone up to 3.5M in goals. Makes me wonder how much they are raising thru paypal (that's not listed in the kickstarter total.) -

Q: Do you plan on updating the game with expansions once the game is released? How often would this happen? Would players be able to make their own mods or expansions once the game is live and would an editor be made available eventually? A: We would like to do this, although we’re still examining how the pipelines for expansions would work. We don’t want to promise something that we couldn’t do until we’d done more research. We recently released an update with our modding views – we like modding, we want to encourage it, but we don’t want to promise it unless we know we can do it, or else we’d do our players and backers a disservice. Umm... I'd say you guys already promised it. -
