  2. In response to post #39501980. To be fair, it was very subtle. The objects in the ad didn't look like erections and had it not been for the one with the beads I'd have assumed it was something else. That said, the ads slow my browser to a crawl and keep crashing flash. I'll try to remember to pause adblock every so often when visiting the website, but those ads are truly insufferable.

  4. In response to post #39496935. #39498440, #39499350, #39500145 are all replies on the same post. I almost want to take that back, just spotted a sex toy ad involving a bunch of black rods and one with beads.
  5. In response to post #39498625. #39499265 is also a reply to the same post. @cridus That's just it, they don't need to share their mods. "9. Mod authors make mods for themselves first, and you second. If the second part, you, becomes too much of a problem for them, they’ll simply not want to share them with you at all."
  6. In response to post #39496935. #39498440 is also a reply to the same post. Me too. From this moment forward I will put up with those annoying ads to support the Nexus.
  7. In response to post #39485330. #39488480, #39488735, #39490310, #39491875, #39495320, #39496320, #39497760 are all replies on the same post. @chinagreenelvis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di6Te-plqlY So yeah, you're kind of wrong about not being able to destroy consoles with mods.
  8. I think the issue for most mods isn't whether or not they can be run on the xbox, but how many issues running them on the xbox creates. In this case, simply "stealing" the mod and reuploading it on Bethesda.net can cause more harm than displaying a message then crashing the game if it's being run on a console before a port is ready. Remember, you can always uninstall mods.
  9. PC gamers use Bethesda.net to get their mods? Holy crap I didn't even think of that. Umm... Oh yeah, put boobs in it! Are you sure you're not making up a problem that doesn't exist? Like that voter ID fraud thing?
  10. The solution is DRM. As DDProductions83 said you can detect if it's on a console and if it is, put up a message saying the mod is pirated and then crash the game. No damage to the save file while also preventing damage from using a mod with potentially game breaking bugs.
  11. I just wanted to quote this and bring it forward as it states my general views on this situation perfectly. The truth of the matter is console mods aren't going anywhere. We, as mod authors, (I know I only currently have one basic mod available, shut up  ) need to accept that fact. I always held the Nexus community to a higher standard. Especially after the whole paid-mods fiasco, but now I'm just facing this site with a swelling sense of disappointment. There's a huge difference taking a stand and defending your principles, and just being malicious. The amount of vitriol I see on this site, reddit, and youtube surrounding "console gamers" and dumping the entirety of blame on them, whether it's for the actions of thieves, or the mere fact that Bethesda had the nerve to give them mods, is mind boggling to me. There's a lot of bad blood going around and for what? Because we choose to play video games on different hardware? If you want to remove mods. Fine. Do what you have to do. If you want to stop making mods for consoles. Fine. Do what you have to do. But this discussion of maliciously trying to corrupt saves and the like of other gamers (the majority of which likely don't know when they're downloading something that's stolen anyway) really rubs me the wrong way. Every single person in this community was new to modding once. I urge everyone to remember that. But... hate and vitriol make the world go round. PC and console gamers alike are banding together to throw as much hate as we can at the thieves and Bethesda, because they're the ones at fault. The DRM just gets the ignorant masses to give a crap about who they're getting their mods from.
  12. DDProductions83: "I thought you were gonna link me to joes apartment, that's what I was thinking when I stopped and compared them to amoebas instead" Still, the part with the cockroach ripping out a guy's head with the spinal cord still intact, then using it as a sword to cut 3 other people's heads off was pretty amusing.
  13. I suppose it would. Just refernce some kind of PC specific record and the mod will infinite load screen when on console. But that seems like a Bad Ideatm. Likely there are not these kind of records anywhere to be had, and it's definitely on grey legal grounds. Not to mention that I, for one, would not download anything knowing that someone put a landmine in there, no matter if the landmine recognized me as a friendly Then you wont ever download a mod of mine ever again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbO9zWluhcM Cause while I'm not giving it out atm and asked my friends to remain silent on it, I so will use it. You sure you want to compare entitled console kiddies fighting mod authors to cockroaches fighting humans? 14. Pulse weapons. Energy weapons that fire neither lasers nor plasma, but EM pulses. The kind that's effective against robots, but weak against everything else. There are pulse grenades and mines, but absolutely nothing else. Nothing! The only weapon on the FO4 nexus that included pulse in it's name didn't say anything about robots, so I doubt it's what I'm talking about. Prior to Automatron I can't see people getting much use out of such a thing, but considering the difficulty of the final battle (especially in survival mode) I can't really say that about the game as it is now. TL;DR (in case 100 words are too much to handle) There are no pulse weapons for fighting robots. Anywhere. I'd really like to see someone make a mod for this. That said, I won't bring it up outside this topic. I have to at least pretend not to be another overly entitled [insert profane word here].
  15. Yeah, it was probably the item cap. I looked back and noticed I had .esps active that were made redundant by weaponsmith extended. Deactivated them and now everything's working. Thanks for your help.
  16. I can't access any weapon categories except for legendary modification for certain guns in the weapon workbench, though I'm able to loot the same guns with different combinations of the mods that would be available if I had access to their categories. I tried fixing my load order using LOOT, but that didn't solve the problem. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it? Thanks. Here's my load order: Let me know if there's anything else I need to post.
