  1. I've watched game play videos some using shouts almost constantly or in every single battle and so on and at first I thought thats cool, slightly comical. But in almost ~50-60 hours of gameplay I've realized that I have only really used a shout in combat maybe once or twice when I got the first word, and another to get through a "puzzle", but other then that I never use shouts. The rest of the time I stick to combat finesse to make it through the square path to the next one. So, out of curiosity, how often do you find yourself using shouts? And on a personal note, I just want to say that whatever the shout that the drauger "bosses" use that can disarm your nice powerful weapon and shield out of your hand and have it fly off into a darkened crevice (thank you Realistic Lighting) with no torches is quite possibly the most annoying thing that happens to me in game. "Is it over here, or here, no there, that it, where is it, run run run, hide behind pole, that it, there it is no its a candle, WHERES MY WEAPON, thats it... I'll beat you with my fists!"
  2. I'm also on the side of "to each their own". Personally, don't like anime anything. I have friends that love it, which is unbelievable if you saw some of them. Tattooed up, snakebite lip piercings, drink like a fish, watching anime. Cracks me up. Someone before said that RPG players are notorious escapists. Lore lovers will "live" in a lore friendly Skyrim, anime lovers will "live" in their world of Animeified Skyrim. So that is how I look at it. I play my way. They play their way. If it makes you tingle inside, whats to stop ya from enjoying it? :)
  3. Check out this mod. I'm going to start following it myself for now. Skyrim Experience Points System http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11110
  4. An entirely open world with no loading screens. Yep, that'd be epic.
  5. Basic Athletics and Acrobatics http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2370 Doesn't add perks but its definitely a step in the right direction.
  6. Have a look at True Yield. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7252 Closest thing that I know of that'd fit the first part of your description.
  7. set timescale to # Set the rate at which time passes (20 is the default, 1 is realtime) http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_%28Skyrim%29 That should be what you're looking for.
  8. Hello everyone! I have a few requests and I have a sneaking suspicion that some of them won't be realized until after the creation kit is released to you all. So here goes: Rebuild some of the run down shacks/buildings that you can find out in the wilderness? Make all the shelves in a bookcase be used instead of just the top row? Edit: Using Breezehome Library mod for this. Make the cursor smaller when sneaking and detected so you can see wtf you are shooting at? Or at least move the icon out of the way to somewhere else on the screen. Edit: Would like the crosshair to be more sharp and less fuzzy. Ability to rebuild/control become Jarl of Helgen Adding a map legend to the world map. Yes, there's a wiki with the icon descriptions, but to put on the map for convenience sake. Never forget my first flight in Skyrim with Giant Airlines. Edit: for clarity.. Raise the first person camera so that it is more at eye level with the character instead of at the chest. (Zoom in and out, you'll see what I mean) Remove the slider when buying selling items in a shop. Or have it start at 1 instead of the max value. Edit: To help increase speech a little more efficiently. Removal of confirmation box if moving more than five (5) items into a container. Clicking on an item will store items instead of using them. IE: Having a container open, and your looking at your inventory, clicking takes place of R instead of using the item. I used a whole collection of herbs on accident just cause I thought I was storing them... This is an outrageous longshot but it'd be awesome to see the buildings in a town no longer require a loading screen to walk in them. Just beautifully integrated with the towns. Edit: Sad to hear of Open Cities, hope it becomes a reality in the future. Interactive map. Can zoom all the way out to see the world map and all the way back in to gameplay. Think zoom levels IE: Spore. Paying the fine/bounty if you have stolen items on you doesn't take you to jail! Guards shouldn't be psychic, seeing if you have stolen items on you without a search or something. Delete/remove quests from journal and quest items from inventory. IE: Going to Riften and RPing a warrior. Enough said. Better quest descriptions. At least tell me who the quest came from or what book it came from. Remove kill movies. This is a mod, I know, but disables the kill moves in first person as well. I still want the first person kill moves. Edit: Using Killmove Plus for this now. Lock down items in a house so they won't jump around when you load a game and fall all over the place. Edit: FPS limiter needed maybe? Collect more ingredients from a bushel or flower patch. Jog speed slowed down a little and walk speed increased a little. Remove the tunnel vision effect when sprinting. FO:NV style bartering system. Some sort of economy. NPC hunters gathering meat and selling to merchants/tavern owners. Miners mining and selling to blacksmiths. Mercenaries buying from armories/weaponsmiths. Etc. Longer torch duration. Potion effects lasting longer. Open player houses, no loading screens. Don't care about companions getting stuck either.
