  1. While this guide works for screenshots, it does not work for actually playing the game. After taking one shot with the bow, you are unable to continue shooting. You then need to remove the bow from favorites, un-equip it, then re-equip it before you can shoot like usual again. I do combat and adventuring just fine with this method. :P I've never had that problem. And you don't need favorites to do it.
  2. I have a guide on how to accomplish what you desire, more or less. Here! It's a bit rough and tumble, but it may hold your craving for character appearance over until we get the creation kit. Good luck to those who can find a better method or create the mod that will allow this!
  3. I have finally experienced this myself. However, I can't reproduce it. Seems to be a random thing, perhaps.
  4. Yeah, I do notice that equipped bow damage drops down quite a bit. I also noticed this happens with my other weapons. It would seem as though a simple save and reload should fix the problem, even after you've equipped your weapons. It fixes mine.
  5. @Cipscis Posted, and main post updated with link to the official forum. @Gilead Maerlyn Really? I don't think I've had the same effect, but I'll certainly look into that more. @lemonpiematt39 That's very strange. I'll do some further testing to see if it also applies to me.
  6. Displaying multiple inventory weapons at once for visual awesomeness. Great for immersion. Great for realism. Also posted on the official forums here. I discovered this while randomly playing with the command console. I don't know if anyone else knows about this, but you should! I'm not sure if this is a bug or glitch, but it's amazing. I'm also not sure if this will apply to everyone who attempts this. So far, I have yet to see any negative effects, but try at your own risk. [Edit] Problems may vary by user. One user has reported weapon damage decreasing, *update* It seems as though weapon damage decreases when using the "resurrect" command. -A simple save and reload should fix this problem. Another user has reported more than one weapon sound and effect at once. -I have experienced this once and have yet to reproduce it. You might experience extremely slow weapon attacking after loading a saved game. -Fixed by unequipping and re-equipping current weapon. http://i.picasion.com/pic46/8dab46d5740bb7adfad23668311d5472.gif[/url] This will allow your character to have many weapons sheathed, yet equipped at the same time. They will appear on your character as though ready to be drawn. Here are the steps, give it a try, and follow carefully: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. In game, equip any weapon of your choice. I recommend a bow and arrow to start, but it's up to you. Armor or weapon choice does not matter, but keep your weapon withdrawn. Otherwise, your character will probably use fists instead of the weapon. 2. Switch to third person mode. 3. Open the command console with tilde key (~). 4. Using the mouse, select your player character. 5. Type "resurrect" without the quotes. Some text should appear, saying something along the lines of "character is not bleeding out blah blah". Close the console (~) 6. Equip a different weapon type, something other than your first choice and withdraw it. 7. Reopen the console (~), select character if needed, and type "resurrect" again, without quotes. Close console. 8. Equip yet another weapon, as long as it is not the same as the previous ones. 9. Repeat each step after with the "resurrect" command until you have equipped all desired weapons to your character. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Best of all, the equipped weapons will stay after saving! :D If at anytime you wish to remove the weapons, do so by unequipping them as usual. If you accidentally remove and/or replace a weapon, just perform the same steps above. If your character gets stuck or cannot attack or move for whatever reason in this process, just use the "resurrect" command again. If you feel as though I've made some error in these instructions, please, let me know. Here is the list of weapon types that can all be equipped at the same time to my knowledge: Bows Arrows (at the same time by default) Daggers (at the same time as swords!) Maces War Axes (one-handed only, including pick axes and wood chopping axes) Swords (one-handed, of course) Staffs (staves?) Greatswords, Battle Axes, and Warhammers (all three two-handed weapons won't be used at the same time as only one will appear on the character) Spells (essentially just makes your hands glow the color of the spell, may need confirmation) Shields http://i.picasion.com/pic46/e707ed4f6812048ad9bdcc054226a116.gif Feel free to experiment and play around with possible combinations. Be sure to post if you discover something new! Lastly, share this with others if you think they should know about it. Perhaps when the creation kit arrives, someone will make this a lot easier. Until then, it seems this is the next best thing.
