Yes :D Well, at least I don´t have any problems playing my NES. No need for Framemeisters or gameplay mode :P Played some Bubble Bobble again this morning. Got to level 57 and ended with 1171760 points; new personal best :)

 I will have to do some work on the gear shift, it´s too out of place and I have to lift the whole foot in order to gear up. I just hope it passes the check-up today.

Had a small motorbike accident today. Hurt my left knee and damaged the left foot rest and gear shift. Nothing major but I´m bummed out so I certainly don´t win today

Am I an old fart for only having had a CRT ever?

What was the game that caused your gaming addiction to begin?
Mirocu replied to Systex's topic in Classic Games
Ice Climber, Kung Fu, Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt for the NES. I loved playing those games as a kid and my gaming career definitely started there. I have such fond memories of Super Mario Bros; the music and the sound when you pick up a coin. Yeah, it definitely started there :) In recent years I´ve had a couple re-egnitions in Deus Ex and Oblivion. Two games I was more addicted to than breathing :P -
Have you ever played an entire game series all at once?
Mirocu replied to Unholypaladin's topic in Classic Games
I´ve never done that. The closest I can come is having played Bioshock and Bioshock 2 through but I´ve never played Inifinite and I don´t plan to. -
Thanks, guys  But today someone else can win!
-
Bah. Today is me birthday and thus I automatically win at everything
-
Can´t say what game I played first but Ice Climber, Kung Fu, Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt are a few that I played early on in my life.
-
I haven´t played any Doom through other than 3 but it sure sounds like it could be one of the early ones. At the end of Doom 3 you can also push a stone block and enter a hidden area with iD´s logo and a message in it.

J.C Denton and Duke Nukem. One badass and one funny badass, can´t go wrong with that :P

NES: Shadowgate, Bubble Bobble and Street Gangs Sega Mega Drive: Sunset Riders and Shining in the Darkness Game Boy: Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and Link´s Awakening PC: CyClones and Red Baron (DOS)

I´m gonna keep repeating myself here, but best game music for me is in Deus Ex and Oblivion with VtM:B in third place. Honorable mention: Bubble Bobble for the NES!

Which game (or games) do you have the fondest memories with?
Mirocu replied to MikeRyan's topic in Classic Games
Most fond memories: Deus Ex Close second: Oblivion Third most fond memories: VtM:B Dishonorable mention: Doom 3 (still occasionally have bad dreams about this bastard) -
Yes! :) Oh, bugger! I ruined it by answering you :(
-
Dream all you want, but please don´t tell me about it :P Someone else wins!
-
I wouldn´t dream of it! You win!

If you like Zelda and want a good story, then I recommend Link´s Awakening on Gameboy. Yeah, I know. The thing is outdated with its monochrome screen but the game has a really good story and of course gameplay :)

Plot twist: the first poster wins.

I´m gonna legally change my name to Winner McWinnerson

Just cleared out Barren Cave on the road to Cheydinhal for the first time. This is the second cave this year that is just beside a major road and which Lothran has not searched until now, the other being Derelict Mine.

I´ll continue lurking and strike when everyone has left

Best game ever is obviously very hard to decide as I have played many games for many systems and loved many of them. Shadowgate for the NES comes to mind, as does Sunset Riders for the Mega Drive and Link´s Awakening for the Gameboy. Moving up to PC it´s the heavy hitter Deus Ex followed by Oblivion, Bioshock 2 and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Ugh. Been wandering around over-encumbered for an hour and with a full inventory in Gunny. Had to wait two entire days before I could sell some of the stuff at Tenpenny Tower and later some at Megaton. Upon returning home, I decided to change weapons since I was running low on minigun ammo and I have been wanting to have some missile fun. And as if that´s not enough, today I made save number 10.000!! Currently wrecking some havoc at L´Enfant Plaza.

Never played that system myself. What games did you like on it?
