For me it was a load order issue. Initially i had "Remove Interior Fog.esp" above "Mod - Simply Darker Interiors by Simtar123.esp". All i did was place Remove Interior fog below Darker Interiors and my problem went away.

What fixed it for me was changing iShadowMaskQuarter (In Skyrimprefs.ini) from 1 back to the default 4. It's an odd one since it only seems to occur when you look at grass. While making edits to the ini's I didn't notice it as I was mostly in towns. I hope this works for anyone else who comes across this.

Ah, I'm having the same exact problem, it only occurs when i look at grass as well. I'm using Verdant grass with the flora overhaul, and Rudy Enb with no reshade. Did you ever figure out what happened? Specs: OS: Windows 7, GPU: Gtx 1080 SLI, CPU: I7 3770k, 32gb Ram.
