  1. Downloads are incredibly slow for me too, North American premium servers.
  2. I LOVE it, it's very functional, also like the removal of the scrolling top mod files, as if I wanted to see what each one was, I'd mouse over to it myself. THANK YOU for having the New Today and New This Week tab! Also love how mod categories are listed within the tiles, you can also see how many endorsements a mod has without even clicking on it. The plus button that allows you to simply view a mods screenshots without having to actually open that mod page is GENIUS. In the download history I love how you now actually have a screenshot of the users previously downloaded mods. I can't wait until this goes live. Thank you for putting player screenshots/media at the bottom... I wonder if there's a way to remove them from actually showing at all, as I'm not the least bit interested in peoples screenshots, (though this is a personal preference.)
  3. Omg, thank you so much for the fix, vegeirsheim. Since having played the original Skyrim I'd always tinker with the shadows to turn them off completely as they effect performance for me, this issue didn't happen in original Skyrim so I never would of guessed that to be the fix, it works, THANK YOU! (I didn't expect anyone to reply to this topic, so I just now got this, going to give you a kudos.)
  4. Problem: I have a weird clear box in the upper left hand corner, it's not noticeable usually until I see grass within it, as the grass will turn to a different shade in the box and it's really immersion breaking. This issue shows up both using reshade or just with vanilla SE Skyrim. Things I've tried: I've tried disabling display scaling on high DPI settings, running as admin, launching the game in offline mode, disabling all my mods, I even tried running it in windowed mode. As well as not using reshade. I have no idea what's causing this issue and I've tried googling it but not with much success, only seen one or two people with even close to a similar issue. Specs: I'm on Windows 10, using a Titan X, i7-5960X CPU, 32 Gigs of ram, Alienware desktop. (Had to make the image pretty small to fit within the file size limit, now the image looks pretty bad but you can still see the issue, ugh.)
  5. Wish they did this with Oblivion or Morrowind instead. If one plays Skyrim on Windows 7, this special edition doesn't bring much new to the table, assuming they're using ENBboost and the memory fix among other things. Though due to the memory issue with all directx9 games on Windows 8, 8.1, and 10, them re-releasing it on Directx11 is nice. I'm more worried that Skyrim will go wonky on SE if you have higher than 60 FPS, (unless you use NVIDIA Inspector, V-sync doesn't fix this.) The 60fps thing is also an issue on Fallout 4, to which I had to fix it by setting my FPS to 90, even then some of the computer terminals had issues. (It's like they don't even care that some pc gamers have monitors with 144hz, which makes 60FPS limiting rather noticeable and irritating.) There's also the issue of SLI, some people use multiple graphics cards, theres not too many issues with it in Skyrim, but it does cause the water to glitch with random ripples. Skyrim plays like a console port rather than a PC game. I hope someone comes out with a script cleaner for this version of Skyrim as well, otherwise orphan scripts cause issues if you got enough of them.(This wasn't an issue in Oblivion as it never saved them like Skyrim does. Guess you'll just have to always make a save before adding in a mod, like you already should do just incase.) Going to stick with playing Oblivion or Morrowind until all the mods and issues are fixed, which will probably take a couple of months. I'm glad the Nexus already has things setup in advance. Thank you for all your hard work.
  6. Happens to me too, either directs me to the game page, or it just sits there forever before telling me the page cannot be displayed. Also using the premium download server locations. Happening on any file I attempt to download.
  7. I fixed mine by going to my C:\Windows\System32 and looking for the d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll. Copy those and paste them in your main Skyrim folder (NOT the Data folder.) Game launched for me just fine with SKSE and ENB on Windows 10. ((Sorry if this was already mentioned.))
  8. Welcome to the Nexus, SirSalami. Is it too late to hand you the customary Fishy stick? Quick, someone hand this fellow the Fishy stick!
  9. You could just use the cheat engine on the armor with the stats and quality you want, to give it the appearance of the apprentice coat model. It would retain the stats of the armor it used to be but have the appearance of the apprentice coat.
  10. Would love to see the Prologue Outfit retextured. ArxAngel1985's retexture of it has been set to hidden the past 2 weeks. Also, I've only seen it recolored in black and white since then. I'd love to see the Prologue Outfit in a variety of pretty textures as well as colors, I don't think the outfit is done enough. Heck, the PJ's retextures look better than any of the armor I end up wearing in game. Thank you.
  11. In response to post #27772820. #27773245, #27785260, #27787150, #27827605, #27828245, #27828875, #27833980, #27837490, #27840175, #27841035 are all replies on the same post. If you actually googled it, you'd realize it isn't a lie at all. And that number posting is from CNN. Here is the link... http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/08/tech/gaming-gadgets/female-gamers/ ((It's literally one of the first results on Google if you search "45% of gamers are female." )) I'm a female and play mostly PC games aka Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and many other not casual types of games. Although do own some consoles. Although whether it's a casual game or not, it's still a video game, and that market is obviously no longer just for men but women too. Also, not everyone on the Nexus responded to this poll. Though with how much skimpy armor mods inhabit the website here, I'm amazed you act like it's a surprise that the percentage of females here is so low. Heres another poll that says that 52% of the gaming community is now women. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/18/52-percent-people-playing-games-women-industry-doesnt-know
  12. I remember when people played video games for the story/writing/content rather than the graphics. As long as the story and exploration and the content is good, the graphics are the last thing I care about.
  13. In response to post #24729904. Praise the Nine! Now I'll be able to buy Bethesda games again. Though, this action still has damaged the community in a way that I doubt will be easily forgotten or forgiven.
  14. Paid mods? If I wanted to pay for custom content, I'd go back to playing the Sims. If Bethesda joins in on this, I officially am never buying an Elder Scrolls game again, nor a Fallout game. If I wanted to pay more than once to have fun, I'd play an MMO. I guess it's a good thing I have the mods I like on a portable drive, as while I love mods, they certainly are not taking any of my money. I'm not a modder, but if I ever was, I definitely wouldn't charge for content, I'd give to the community to help make it better. When modders discover things, the whole community benefits from it, by learning interesting things they wouldn't of been aware of otherwise. Putting this in, will ruin this in a way. Regardless of how people decide to distribute their stuff, I'm going to only use the free stuff rather than give Valve any money, along with even modders for that matter. I appreciate what they give the community, but not enough to pay out of my own pocket. I need money for more important things, like college, food, and living expenses.
