  1. I personally like two handed weapons. 2H weapons are good for taking on Dragons, and other highly armored opponents. First time I played through the OC , I often used Sten and Oghren instead of Alistair, as Alistair seemed to be a bit of a *kittie kittie* who was always getting knocked out. I got kinda pissed when the 1.02 patch came out because I had a DW rogue who put all his points into str, but the patch made it do points into dex were just as effective.
  2. Why not just borrow a game from a friend then? I think Fallout is down to 30 bucks already.
  3. I played Oblivion after I played DA:O, and I managed to tolerate it for a few hours. Oblivion to me is a game that occupies you while waiting for other games you like more to come out. To me, DA:O is probably the first western-rpg to rival the japanese console rpgs in terms of storyline. As a matter of Fact, I think Dragon Age was so good, that even Mass Effect 2 by comparison feels like a disapointment.
  4. I am playing on a 1280x800 and can see it just fine. Screenshots?
  5. In addition to being two somewhat different types of rpgs, they were also released three years apart. Dragon Age IMHO is what the Neverwinter Nights series should've been. It is the first RPG that I managed to squeeze 100 hours out of on one playthrough. I never really got into Morrowind, even though I liked Daggerfall. Oblivion is more of a pc game than DA, in the sense it has a little more depth, and is less cinematic. If we are going to compare Bethesda to Bioware, why not compare Fallout 3 to Mass Effect?
  6. I'd make a Steampunk RPG, with primitive firearms and airships(dirigible airships, not like the ones in Final Fantasy). World Of Warcraft has done this to some extent. As for as sequels go, I wouldn't mind seeing another Xenogears/Xenosaga title. I would very much like to see a Spelljammer title come out(D&D in space, woot!). To me, it seems like modern gaming technology can exploit a lot of concepts, but don't.
