New NMM 0.70.0 refuses to authorise. I keep getting the message " Authentication failed due to network issues" followed by the message "Authentication failed for unknown reasons" I have checked my security and unblock anything to do with it but keep getting the same messages. I know Nexus no longer has anything to do with NMM but if the modders are going to keep updating it they should at least check that it works. Or is this another try to force us to use Vortex?

First welcome :) Next! I am sorry to post this here and possibly you may not read it but I do not know where else to have a grype. I am sick and tired of the Kent server. I have tried again and again to change it in my preferences but it makes no difference as to what I put the moment I use NMM to download a file it goes straight to the Kent server. Now to the main problems. If it is a large file then it freezes and the download stops. It doesn't matter how long I wait it stays frozen. If I then try to pause it, then NMM freezes and I have to then use Device Manager to get rid of NMM. What I then find is that NMM will no longer open unless I reboot my PC. Yes I know I can do a manual download and install with NMM that way, however even there when I click Manual Download the Kent server jumps in to start the download asking if I want it on my desktop. I usually cancel it as right behind it a panel opens asking me which server I wish to download from and I usually pick the CDN one which is the one I have set in my preferences page. Again sorry to post this here but I can see nowhere on the home page that would help me.

Been running a couple of tests. It doesn't matter what I set it to, it goes to Kent every time. Once it stops or should I say locks up if I then use the pause button NMM locks up and I have to use the Task Manager to stop NMM I then can not open NMM unless I reboot my pc. I am not rushing it regarding waiting for the download to start again or when I pause it, I have left it for Hrs at a time, indeed last night I left the download running all night. All in all it is a complete pain in the rear end.....

Yes, it is set to CDN, just don't understand why it keeps going to Kent, When it sits locked up after about 15mins if I pause it then NMM locks up and if I force it to close I have to reboot before I can open NMM again. It is a real pain caused by the Kent server failing on every large download.

I am sick and tired of the Kent premium Server. It is fine for small downloads but absolute rubbish for large ones. In my preferences I have it set for CDN however if I use NMM to download a mod it goes straight to the Kent one. What I then find is that it starts to download then locks up and does nothing. It doesn't matter how long I leave it, it just sits doing nothing. If I pause the mod then restart it a while later, it starts to download but after another 2% of the download it locks up again and again and again. I am sorry if I should not have posted this here but I didn't know where else to put it. Any help would be appreciated be it where to post this gripe or how to get rid of the Kent Server.

Ahhh if only I was 30yrs younger. I am a retired GSM of a National (now multinational) Multi Product Superstore. However at the age of 77yrs I am content playing games on my pc. :)

Sorry but my brain is spinning round in its bone shell. Why would anyone want to block any Auther? If you don't like what someone has taken time, skill and effort to make for the benifit of others. Don't look at it. No one can please all of the people all of the time. remember if you keep looking at stuff you don't like. In no way has the Auther forced you to do that. The cure is in your own hands, just don't look at it.

I have had a few problems but knew that if anything serious was happening you would deal with it. Once again I stand in admiration for you and your team. :)

If I had of had some string I could have kept my pants up, couldn't bldy run for the bgrs falling down. AND! As for cans, if we had a can in the house it sat on the shelf in the cupboard that had a catch on it too high for us to reach but we were allowed to look longingly at it once a week even though it didn't have a label. If we managed somehow to find an empty can on the bombed buildings we kicked it with vigor (in revenge for not getting to touch the one in the cupboard) until a very nice policeman would grab us by the ear and let his heavy boot kindly persuade our rear ends that silence is golden and that people deserved peace. He was also sometimes heard to mutter that given the chance he would do the same to that little German git with the funny moustache. :p

Okay got game up and running by doing the following........ Took a chance and shut down my firewall and resident shield. Opened Steam and disabled Participation in Beta Updates. Restarted firewall and resident shield, then booted game through NMM as usual. Steam didn't try to update and game booted. Possibly the fault is in the latest Beta Update. Hope this helps anyone else who may have the same problem...

Nope I ran a scan nothing wrong with the steam folder, it is coming down with the Steam Updater.

Help just tried to start the game through the mod manager and directly through steam. In both ways I am getting a steam updating window which gets to 99% then AVG jumps in to say threat detected "Trojan horse Agent3.CDBL" It lists it in my program files as "Program Files (x86)Steam\bin\nattyprobe.dll I am loath to switch off AVG and anyway even if I did the resident shield will pick it up. Anyone any advise? Has Steam been hacked? How do I get to play my game????

Lol, I am having the same problem. It started when I went to install the chip at the the fort. When I tried to leave and he asked me for my weapons the game went into a loop of me trying to exit and him asking for the weapons. Nothing I done would correct it loading previous saves didn't help, each time I came to the door the same thing happened so I killed all the legion in there but of course outside they all attacked me. Yes they are a git to kill and do keep turning up at the worst times but it is a great way to make money. :) All I need now is to find a way to make love to the female ED E robot. :)
