Ah I see, thank you for that. I have a similar computer to his, it's an Acer Aspire AX3475-EF328. Which is like his, but better. EDIT So I skimmed through there and it seems maybe the Sapphire may be best option. I'll think about it a little bit more. From what I can tell, the ones I posted are pretty much the same.

So, I'm not so good with understanding all of this computer tech stuff. I understand the basics, but not much else. So I want to upgrade my PC but it will only work with a low profile graphics card. I've decided between these two: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202002 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129271 Which do you think is better? Yeah I know I screwed myself over with getting a computer like this but I can't really afford to spend $1,400+ on a new PC. I'm not planning to play super high end games like Call Of Duty on max settings or something anyway. But getting good performance without the game having to be on crap settings would be nice for once :) Anyway, can some one help me out? I'm not the most knowledgeable with this stuff. If you can recommend another one, that'd be great too! Thank you.

whats your favorite base game armor?
888mikem888 replied to KittenFromRussia's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
My personal favorite is the Elite Riot Gear from Lonesome Road. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120621192505/fallout/images/d/dc/Elite_riot_gear.png My next favorite is Joshua Graham's armor. I honestly haven't found any armor mods that I really like though. -
Any way to do this or has any one made a mod like this? I've seen one for NV which was the other way around. I can't make a good face in Fallout 3's presets, I can make really good ones in NV's, which is why I ask. It would be cool if some one could do this. Thanks.

Honest Hearts was a big letdown
888mikem888 replied to Falconian's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
I don't see what was so bad about Joshua being heavily religious, he's still a good character, or at least I thought he was. I really didn't like Honest Hearts though because it felt like a DLC devoted to fetch questing. Other than that I liked Joshue, Daniel, and the Sorrows. -
How can I get to the music files for the game?
888mikem888 replied to 888mikem888's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
The intro's and outro's are located in sound > fx > mus > bttl and the middles are located in the music > BTTL Best of Luck! Ok I'll see if I can find what I'm looking for. There's one particular song I'm looking for, but since non of the songs have names it's kind of tough to find. To make it easier on yourself open up the geck load the esm or esp you want to use go to Audio > Music Location Controller find an area with the music you want and open up the controller then open up the musSet you want and it will tell you the music files used. Best of Luck! I still can't find it. I know where all of the music files are. I've searched every single last folder and played every file available I could find and it still wasn't it. I've heard it play when Caesar assassins ambush you and when in battle at Black Mountain. It sounds like this song in the game, but not totally the same: This song I can't find in the files either. Any help? -
Why does Doc Mitchell give the Courier his Pipboy?
888mikem888 replied to 888mikem888's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
Heh Yea I guess. Even if I had a Pipboy that I don't use any more I'd keep just because, well, it's a Pipboy. Maybe he felt it would help the Courier more then it would others. I don't know it's one of those game details that the more you think about the more frustrated you get because there is no explenation. -

I mean, I have access to most of the music that plays during battle, but there are other songs that play during gameplay that I can't find in the folders. Any one by chance know how I can get to them? The combat music is what I want to find. Sorry if this is the wrong category and if it's kind of vague.

Fallout 3 GOTYE on steam will NOT run.
888mikem888 posted a topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
So I finished installing F3 on steam on my Windows 8 computer, and it simply won't run. Nothing happens it just will not run. I don't know what to do I've tried doing that integrity of game cache thing. But it still won't work. I don't understand at all what's wrong. I wish I could tell you more but I have absolutely nothing to work with. I've never even gotten to run it once for it to install its other things. Help? -
Which ending do you usually go for and why?
888mikem888 replied to Dan3345's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
All are kind of tough. The NCR would seem the most "good" choice, but they are pretty much bullies and I felt so crappy hearing that the people of Goodsprings had severe struggles with the taxes if you let NCR win. Legion are savages who want to rip apart everything, so they're solution isn't very good. I would go for House, except for when I took his story line he wanted me to destroy the Brotherhood of Steel, and I liked the Brotherhood and when I went there, there were teenagers. I couldn't bring myslef to be a child killer and it was too late to side with NCR so I just took over Vegas. Indipendant Vegas seems good but to me seems a tad short-sighted. In the end I find that the NCR has the least baggage. -

Did you use FOMM Archive Invalidate he recommends using it over the other method. open FOMM go to tools click archive invalidate off and back on? Awesome guess there was a small typo in the ini for redesigned or something. I have turned it on and off in both FOMM and the actual archive invalidated.... like 20 times. And it's still not working. It's kind of baffling because it seems there should be absolutely no reason for it to not work. I have installed it manually AND automatically with FOMM. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, running out of ideas :S Heres a question the messed up skin textures are they messed up on your character or just NPCs? Both. -

FNV Redesigned 2 in the mod folders has calibration and skin fixes folder thats where you will find the directions for it. Don't know what archive invalidated you have I recall reading in the redesigned 2 page that it stopped working or something. I've never used it and never had issues with just manually toggling archive invalidate in FOMM. As for your other mods dunno which you got so couldn't help with out that info. Best of Luck! I installed the calibration and skin fixes and it still didn't work. But Ill do it again just for the sake of it. The other mod I have that's not working is breezes male bodies. I figured it would be related to the same reason why Redesigned 2 isn't working properly. Thanks for the reply though :) Breezes is usually pretty straight forward especially with the fomod. Might try manually archive invalidate with fomm Q The face doesn't seem to match the skin below the neck A: This was something that I struggled with. Keep in mind that there are three stages of this problem. The first problem is where it is..way off. It's where the face is white and the skin is black. This is a problem that occurs when Archive Invalidation isn't working properly. I'd clean the ini's through steam (just go into steam right click fallout new vegas and there should be a clean option) then try fomm archive invalidate without making any ini changes. Ha! I redid the fix in the redesigned file and it worked! And I feel so stupid I never had fomod! Ill go download it and see if it works. EDIT: Aw, it still looks off. The default body has no problems, but when ever I have any armor or clothes on the arms have weird discolorations. But Redesigned works perfectly fine now. Its just breeze now. -

So, I have the Fallout NV redesigned mod, and the heads are all white, even if their body is black, etc. I found that I need to update or edit my ini files. Now I know how to open it, but I don't know what to edit to make it work, or which one I'm suppose to edit. I have it on not read only (which I'm sure is what its suppose to be on), and I have NVSE, archive invalidated, and FOMM. Ive searched high and low on the internet to figure out what to do, and all people say is to update or edit your ini files. There are a couple of other texture mods I have that also say it needs to be updated to work. Sorry if this is kind of stupid, technology has never liked me it seems. Id appreciate any help that could be given.
