I have just installed the new version but it's working fine here, thank you very much!

Same, v1.14.5 does not have this problem, and I forgot to mention that I have this bug with Skyrim SE.
-
Update: still loading plugins and high CPU and disk usage, but now I got this message: "Vortex is using a lot of memory and may crash 3.58 GB". It feels like a memory leak or that the program is stuck on an infinite loop process, but that's enough for me, I will close it and wait for a fix from the developers.

I have the same problem just after updating to v1.14.6, the Plugins tab is stuck on loading for over 30 minutes and still the plugins are not shown. I was going to close Vortex and launch it again but I noticed there is high CPU usage and disk activity so I will let it work for some more time and see if it finishes whatever it's doing.

I'm sorry it doesn't work for you, I already have restarted Vortex a few times, checked mods for updates and the wrong update flag has gone for good. I also have removed the Clear Update extension just to check if the bug reappears but no, it's clean here.

I updated Vortex to beta 3 without any issue and used the Clear Update extension to remove the tag on the affected mods, then checked all my mods for updates again and it worked fine, no false notifications. Thank you very much!

Glad to hear that! and there is no hurry, you are doing great. I will ignore it for now, thank you!

Using Vortex 1.13.0-BETA.2 here and I have the exact same issue as dizietemblesssma described. I checked for updates on my over 1000 mods Skyrim SE game and surprisingly over 200 mods were erroneously marked as "Mod can be updated" when they are up to date. I tested the Clear Update extension on an affected mod and indeed it removed the mark but when I manually right click on it and select Check for Update the mark is back again, so that's not a solution. My internet is working good but today I noticed that the download speed from nexus is unusually slow. I hope this can be fixed because it's a big problem when updating the mods.

I'm having this same problem in Skyrim AE after I updated Vortex to 1.12.0-beta.1. -
In my setup, mods always get deployed automatically when I install them. Anyway, I clicked on "Deploy Mods" and I could see Vortex working, but it did not fix the problem.

Clarification: Mod B only contains file2, nothing else.
-
This is my (bad) experience with the "Some mods are redundant" problem, which I have often: Mod A contains file1, file2, file3. It was installed correctly. Mod B contains a different file2, I want it overwrites file2 from Mod A, so I simply install Mod B and then I get: "There are unresolved file conflicts" "Some mods are redundant" To solve the conflicts I select load Mod B "after (suggested)" Mod A, then click on "Save" and the conflict message is gone, but the "Some mods are redundant" message is still there so I check it and it says: --- Mod name: Mod B Deployed files (0) None Files overwritten by other mod (1) file2 (Hash not calculated) - Mod A Files not deployed (0) None Files that are supposed to be deployed but weren't found (0) None Files that are present but couldn't be read (0) None --- Conclusion: Mod B was not installed. To this day, I couldn't find a solution for this problem.

I need help to fix the vanilla start in my modded game

I removed a custom male clothing replacer mod and that fixed bug #1, thank you! -
I need help to fix the vanilla start in my modded game
Petty7 replied to Petty7's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
I wait until all the mod messages in the top-left corner of the screen are gone, then go to bed to start the game. But that's not enough, probably the only solution is to remove some mods. Or it can be a mod conflict that I can't find. Anyway, I'm happy with my game now and I don't want to damage it doing too deep troubleshooting, so I guess I better ignore the vanilla start for now, unless someone have a better idea. -
I'm fixing all the bugs I can in my 1000+ mods game, but I need help for this. I use ASLAL and when I choose the vanilla start there are 2 problems in the opening scene: #1 - Some weird mesh bug in Lokir, as you can see in this screenshot. #2 - When the carriage has arrived to its destination, my character gets off the car, makes a random turn and start walking straight indefinitely (colliding with the walls and other obstacles, I don't have control), instead of standing before Hadvar. Any help is welcome, thanks.

There is another one coming.

Have a look a these: It only happens with some city guards, others show correctly wearing a helmet, and not only in Solitude but in all cities. I removed all the hair mods and started a new game but didn't help. Any clue about how to fix this? Thank you!

Oh my, sometimes I get lost with so many mods, thank you!

Hi, have a look at this screenshot. What are those icons in the top right corner of the screen? I would like to know what mod is that. Thanks. Edit: ops! sorry I posted in the LE forum, that screenshot is from Skyrim Special Edition, AE to be more precise.
-
I finally could fix it, the plugin causing this was "YurianaWench.esp". This mod was recently updated and the latest version fixed the problem, so I did not have to remove it. I also could track and remove another mod which was causing crashes. Thank you very much Hanaisse!

In the race tab of race menu I have 2 Argonian races, as you can see in the images. You can observe that the character is shown naked in one race and wearing the prisoner clothes in the other. There are also minor differences in the description text. I have been modding my game during the last weeks and I did not notice this bug until today, so I don't know what mod is causing it but I'm sure it is a plugin because if I disable all of them then it is fixed. Do you have any clue about what is the culprit mod or any suggestions to fix this? I did a lot of troubleshooting but I'm running out of ideas. I cannot do the trick of disabling half of the plugins, launch, etc, because when I disable a lot of plugins my game just crash to desktop. I have Skyrim AE up to date with all the CC mods and the latest version of race menu. Thanks for your help.

My monitor supports 60Hz and 75Hz refresh rates and I run the game in fullscreen mode (bFull Screen=1) because I get better performance than in borderless window. When I launch the game it automatically changes the screen to the maximum refresh rate of 75Hz, even when my desktop is set at 60Hz. And that's the problem, I want to run the game in fullscreen mode with my monitor at 60Hz but I don't know how. I suppose there must be some command to do this, or some other way. Can someone help me? thanks.
