Why aren't my mods working, any ideas? I've installed them with vortex but they aren't showing up in game.

I'm using the current version of vortex and am trying to mod my grim dawn that I got from steam. As far as I can tell there is no forums for this game and I don't know where else to ask for help. There is no plugin tab to the far left of the interface and the mods aren't activated as far as I can tell because of this. Also, there is no script extender in the mods section. Is that why there is no plugin tab being displayed that I can go into and activate my mods? How do I fix all of this?

Game is Fallout New Vegas, from steam. I don't know what version of vortex I have but I update it so I think it would be the latest version. There is a mod I want to use which is, https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51664?tab=description The instructions say to put it at the top of my load order. My question is can I move it to the top of my load order some how or do I have to clear out my archives completely and start all over?

In order to do that do I need to delete the archives and redownload them entirely or is there a way to change their order without completely gouging them out?

I restarted my computer and now it seems to be working fine...If it comes back or continues I will return to this topic.

I just started modding this game, the script extender and the 4g patcher are the only thing I have installed. I'm getting large, bold, vertical, black lines on the screen. I did screen shot these but the effect does not appear in those images. Could anybody help?

My vortex isn't allowing me to login. My pc crashed with the latest update in progress. I have clicked the login , have been taken to the authorize screen and have completed that process successfully multiple times with no effect. How do I redownload the latest update? The one that pops up and initiates the green "download and reinstall" prompt. Apologies for the double post.

In the comments for this mod it says to disable borders. To do this do I save the line into the skyrim folder or the skse folder and how do I put it there. I need stupid simple clarification please. Don't forget to unlock the Skyrim borders. To do this, go to your Skyrim.ini file in Documents > My Games > Skyrim. NOT the ini file in your load order where the game itself is installed. Open it, put the line: bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 , then save it and the borders in the game are disabled. After installing, save your game and restart your saved game. Yes and they both add an esp, that is why I'm asking. I would think they would need to be enabled but this is how I found them (disabled) in my plugins.

Does the disabled plugins in the images need to be enabled for this mod to work? The mods are active but the plugins are not. Does this look like it is set up properly?

Does anyone know of a mod that will allow me to drag and drop spells into a ui function so I can use them with a single click of my mouse, similar to the tool in the middle, at the bottom of the screen, such as what is in this image?
