  1. that tell me what it is. and i can guess about how to change it, guess i'll just have to play around with it anyone know where the glow files are for the daedric weapons? can't find that either...i looked on google and explored all of the bsa
  2. hello i can't seem to find an answer to this at all. 1st there are 3 texture contained in a weapon the diffuse the normal that contains a spec map and this _m thing, what is it and how is it important to modding another thing, certain weapons glow, what file do i need to change that?
  3. hello, im going about doing new weapons and such, just got the 1st one done, daedric sword the textures good, but i wanted to go about changing the normal map, so i map a high quality/res normal that looks way better much more detail loaded the game and saw that it looked like a light-bulb i went back and realized i left out the alpha, opps added it and saved it loaded the game...it's still a Christmas tree Is there something i need to save t as? i noticed certain option you can save it as and i tried RGB and ARGB and the other ARGB option but it's still really glossy also on a side note what it the _M file in textures?
  4. I hope a mod comes out that makes a torch needed when it is night. Try turning down the brightness. But then I have to probably turn it back up for daytime. hey look at this mod, and i turned my gamma down a bit...works very well, i used the HDRv1 makes it pretty dark in caves...torch or spells are a must but the day time looks great http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=822

  6. I just did a quick reinstall, and now im going to do everything step by step to see what screwed it up.
  7. ok so i added some mods and changed a few ini settings. made the game look awesome...but there are two odd things i can't figure out. ok so people and doors are transparent at certain angles, and roads have sharp outlines with the surrounding grass unless im looking straight at it. i didn't think i changed to much... i added the mod http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=822 along with another enb series patch, a few tex mods and changed some shadow ini setting..any clue?

  10. after looking a bit i found out that i have no clue how to mod stuff other than textures and models right now as hex values and all that other stuff that has already been done like staff and arrowsmitthing is way complicated to me. especially when trying to use fallout things to edit it with...i guess i'll jut make a new weapon and texture until the CK comes out.

  12. skyrim took nearly 6 years to be released...so instead of making one whole mod, i think it would be better to slowly make the mods with town and lands then trying to make one whole thing...and then it might be possible because you have years....and i think Bethesda are going to be riding the skyrim dlc train for a while...i know i would...the game was a huge hit. it's reported on forbes that it's a 600% increase in sales from oblivion. http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2011/11/15/the-elder-scrolls-skyrim-sells-3-4m-in-two-days/

  14. Hey so im a little confused right now as the title says. If there is no creation cit, what method/programs are people using. are they using something from oblivion/fallout games? please help there are a few things i want to try out/
  15. I was actually thinking this too when i found out about the land included. I was wondering if it would be possible to get the tights to use the creation kit from oblivion, and take the meshes from the and improve them to skyrim's art style...seems like it would work to me but i don't know whether it's legal.

  19. i did both and with tcl on it worked...so idk if you need both but it worked with both so there ya go.
  20. do this type "help lydia 0" get her actor id within the info (pgup and pgdw is how to scroll) do player.placeatme (lydias id) brand new lydia EDIT-forgot about the gear well my method wont work if you want the same gear...and you could also just resurrect the other lydia instead of this the only other thing i can think of is that her scrpit isn't telling her to stay at the house because she is a copy so look where she was before you had the house

  22. also if anything interesting happens when your doing this and your taking video you should share...it's and amazing sight to see that many dragons...i think thats how the end of the game should really be.
  23. so apprently the code is bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 and you add it under general you also have to use tcl i think havn't tried it yet but it should work.

I was going to take a video of it but i remember from my video capturing days the struggle my pc had with it running and something else...specially 100 dragons. the console commands are "help dragon 0" then you can scroll through the actor values (the 000fh36 things) of each dragon using the pgup and pgdw keys when you find the actor you want go ahead and type "player.placeatme ######" the numbers are going to be the actor values if you want certain dragons like some i cant mention instead type "help (name of the dragon) 0" and then use it's values instead don't add too many dragons at one without exiting and loading the ones you just places 10 at one time at the most you might run into a dragon who's health bar disappears and stands still but if you run away then wait for an hour he should spring back to life with no life and attack you.
  25. I think i found the command, idk if it will work because i don't know where to stick it in my file but that's where the guessing comes in handy.
