After installing the dark ages Wars mod, I meet this stray dog who I saved from some random bandits cause you know, why not? He follows and I thought back to my last companion dog who was killed literally right outside of Markarth which was a damn shame 'cause that's where I bought him. Suffice to say I had very little in the way of expectation for this poor fellow. Once again outside Markarth and we get 2 ancient dragons come down as the music starts. I'm L52 with max destruction and conjuration so I figure I'm ok but the dog is roasted. I watched this dog charge in with my dremora lords and he's taking blast after blast full on of dragonfire. In the end, this greasy looking stray dog is happily parting as he sits between these 2 dragon corpses and blowing by goddam mind. I told him to go home after that; I really didn't want to push his luck and he'd done more than his fair share.

Got that curved swords one just after i'd killed this Redgaurd warrior, it was beautiful. "Perhaps we should find a random stranger to murder... practice does make perfect." L. Lachance I thought sure, why not? And spent the next hour randomly assassinating npc's from all over Skyrim before I came back to myself and what I'd been originally doing.

The civ series overall. Some more than others, but the whole concept is awesome. Early CoD and the GTA series.

After a Daedric quest and subsequent eating of a person, fast travelled to Windhelm and a guard stops and says something like "Ugh, what have you been eating? It smells like something died in your mouth"

I shot a hawk in Solitude- just saw it and whipped off a shot that hit. Then as i'm looking at this dead hawk a woman walks up and says 'who would do such a thing?'. Guilt much?

Collectable you say...THIS is definitely my new priority!

Windhelm, turn right then left and listen to child and parent talking under arch, then off you go! @daventry, I got that but the other way around! Same contractors but different targets,weird.

Went from 90 to 100 in destruction in under an hour by killing raising and killing Draugr scourges etc (obviously both smites are with destruction magic). Freakn awesome 'cause I was hanging to crack that 100 mark. You can pull the soul gems out from the pillar traps too, they're all timed and not continuous. Eat every alchemy ingredient you find. Draugr burn really well. Don't kill all the Khajit traders in the DB quest, the one's you let live carry cool stuff to buy.

I was a vamp for ages and got sick of the whole feeding interupptus thing so went werewolf. The weird thing is the vamp aura (whatever it's called) that causes melee damage in combat still activates. wtf? -wow, i amaze myself sometimes. Was a 5pt per sec poison effect from my chain mail not a vamp effect :blink:

Got my destruction up really fast by smiting, raising then smiting again. Is Death Thrall a master spell? My D&D character is a Chaotic Evil Necromancer and I'd love to spread the rotting joy around Skyrim too!

Yeah I got the same problem. Conjuration of 93 and 100 in destruction and they won't trigger. Laaaaaaaame -Faralda finally triggered the Destruction one, don't know why she chose to this time....

Once I got the archmage robes and the Modekai (or whatever it's called) I split between none and light. Once I hit 100 for enchanting I'm gonna dual enchant the crap out of an ebony armour set and just let someone wail on me while I heal to get the skill increase. Ebonflesh is definitely good too. What kinda mage specialist is it gonna be?

These are awesome, my 5 year old keeps asking 'what are you laughing at?'. So far i've really come to appreciate the offhand comments you get when you do quest related stuff. A comment about' Keep away from me with that unnatural weapon' when wielding the Staff of Corruption was nice. My favourite so far was after Najmira's quest I went and ate someone, as you do, and the first gaurd I pass in Whiterun says 'Gods, what have you been eating? It smells like something died in your mouth'. Which it kinda had...

Yeah, I went Stormcloaks first too for the same reasons as stars2heaven (esp the chaos). Went Imperial the second time but the beautiful thing was even now i'm not sure about either one. Each time I went into a city I'd get another viewpoint on it that made me reconsider. I thought that particular quest was great, offering a nice depth if you wanted it, or just a blood soaked rampage if that was your thing. History is written by the victors in the end, and as much as it alters the truth of events it lends a definite clarity of vision. Not having that made the whole thing fantastic- choose your truth and impose it on the world!

well said- and more politely than was required, especially with the Noobus post fulfilling the spinning out of control it also warns against. Anyway, anyone know if you can buy the Summon storm Atronarch and some other high level spells (firestorm comes to mind)? Only seen them in scrolls so far but I'm level 49 with 100 Destruction and 89 Conjuration with over 600 mana so they should be around. If so I'll keep hunting, I just wanna know if they're available...
