  1. Is there a way to fix the white streaks with only a .mop file? .mop seems to have the same data in the file that the tutorial says to edit in .mor, but nothing changes despite the edits being saved. I don't have .mor files for them.
  2. I'm having an issue with white streaks appearing in my character's hair. I seem to recall having a mod to fix it, but I can no longer find it. I've found several topics mentioning editing a .mor file with the toolset/gyGFF editor can fix it, but I can't figure out how to edit a default preset headmorph. I can edit the .mop files for my modded presets, but even that doesn't seem to do anything (following this guide). Do I need to convert it to .mor? Does it need to be converted back to .mop after editing a .mor? Do I have any clue what I'm doing?
  3. If anyone still needs this issue solved, and doesn't pay attention like I do, there's a patch for FNIS now (V5_5 Fix 1 at time if writing) that fixes it without complicated workarounds.
  4. I'm getting a problem on a few of the presets from Lovely Presets, 1 human and 4 elves. I assumed it was KH's textures, because Candace only requires those and a hair pack, which should affect eyes, but KH's is installed (properly, I believe) and it's not working. Any help would be appreciated. Edit: it's a little unclear from the picture, but there aren't any eyes, not even solid black ones. Just blank sockets.
  5. What is a 'texture pack optimizer'? I disabled the textures for 2K Skyrim, leaving WATER and SMIM as my only other main other graphic mods (unless you count K ENB . . . :P ) and my game had no noticeable drop in G/C- PU performance.
  6. I do, and I also have the Unofficial Patches for everything, so anything game-breaking shouldn't be so much anymore.
  7. I ran it with SPM, and my memory stays around 1Gb, with VRAM @ ~3Gb. As you can see. Not sure if ENBoost/ENBHost is skewing the results or not.
  8. @sonicp: No, I do not. @chanchan05: Well, I kept track via task manager, which is by no means infallible, but it was no more than 3Gb of memory used. If you could point me in the right direction I could try the Skyrim Performance Monitor, but I am 99.9% sure it's not, as the time between crashes varies between 5 minutes and 6 hours (though it has gotten worse, it seems to be about < 1 hour now), and memory issues cause a crash within a distinct time period of starting a game.
  9. So, this is probably too vague to help me, but I'm having a lot of CTDs at completely random moments. They generally occur when I move from outdoors to indoor (within seconds), indoors to outdoors (usually a couple minutes of play), opening containers (instantaneous), or trying to access magic/inventory menus (instantaneous). I know it's not a memory problem, so I assumed it was scripts, and turned on the papyrus log. That turned out to be monumentally unhelpful. It's a different script each time, all from different mods, so I'm reasonably certain it's not scripts either. Sometimes I can play for hours on end,and other times it will crash within minutes of loading a save. I've run all over Skyrim and done many many things, and I still can't find a reasonable explanation or correlation between what's happening in Skyrim (visibly or in Papyrus) and the crashes. Here's my mod list/load order:
  10. I have 4 logs, but all are a significant amount of time ahead of when I failed the quest.
  11. @brsingr11: I would have done that had I thought too much, but I'd rather not disable all mods and restart now. I've done quite a bit since getting out of Helgen. @chanchan05: Here's my list:
  12. So I've run into a very curious problem in my game, in that, during my escape from Helgen with Ralof, after fighting the torturers, I failed . . . Unbound. All of my objectives are have the red X of failure, including looting Gunnar's body, and Ralof won't move past the torture room. I tried teleporting him to Riverwood, but he just stands where ever you place him. I can't fix it with console commands (I've tried SetStage, SetStageCompleted, ResetQuest, CompleteQuest) and I don't know any other way to fix it. If anyone could shed some light on the issue, that would be greatly appreciated. Note: I have quite a few mods installed, but the only one that alters stuff like that is Civil War Overhaul, and I'm pretty sure Unbound doesn't fail from that alone.

  14. I've used the Skyrim save manager for a while, as any self respecting person with a lot of characters should, but recently it hasn't been switching profiles properly, and just uses the same folder regardless of what I have it set to. Any help would be appreciated, I have no clue why it would be doing this.
  15. EDIT: Think I found my solution elsewhere. Aaaand I can't get out of this stupid code box.
  16. I've tried everything on the SkyUI error page as well, and nothing worked, including the bInvalidateOlderFiles=1. However, none of my .inis had that setting, so I had to add it manually under Archive (I added it into the My Documents/my games/ Skyrim.ini, if that's important). If anyone knows why this wouldn't work or if I should do something differently, that would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: Also tried it in my Skyrim_default.ini, the only other .ini with an [Archive] section, no luck.
  17. I'm having a problem with Waking Nightmare, and it is not the usual saving ctd. I saved periodically throughout with no problems, but once I reach Veren and his crony then the problems begin. If I kill either one, I get a 'Defeat Veren and <whatever> Failed' message, and looking at my journal, every objective has the red x on it afterwards. If I let Casimir/Erandur kill them both, then we can progress to the Skull. vaermina starts her little spiel about how he'll betray me, and then it's error central: 1) If I kill him before I get the objective, as Vaermina says kill him, nothing happens. He's dead, can't activate the Skull, no new quest dialogue. 2) If I wait to kill him after the ritual has begun, I get a 'Murder Erandur Failed' note, or, if I don't sneak kill him in one hit, he begins to fight and somewhere along the battle I get the same message. 3) If I kill him before Vaermina starts talking I get a 'Wait for Erandur to Dispel the Barrier Failed' note. I am at a total loss here, I have a good many mods, but most are armor/texture mods, and all I've used with this quest previously and it's been fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: I've also tried SetObjectiveCompleted and SetStage, and neither seems to have any affect whatsoever.
  18. I would guess running FNIS would help, but I'm no expert. I have had a similar problem before, though: try drawing your sword or some form of melee weapon and hitting something squishy, my problem was that the game would function properly, but it wouldn't LOOK like it was. Also, what mod did you uninstall?
  19. Okay, it has something to do with being a vampire, as every normal character can set their skin color and warpaint. Changing from redguard vampire to redguard and back to a vampire does not fix the problem. Having isolated that, I have no clue where to go, or how to fix it from there.
  20. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled skyrim, and even running it with no mods I get a neck seam, weird texture disparity, and lack of warpaint. Only on redguard females still.
  21. I have that file, and I don't have a custom race at all. My main problem is I've used all of the above listed mods together and it worked fine, but it's not working currently now, and I don't know why.
  22. I'll try the full body textures, but I've tried this with no mods at all and get the same result, on redguard females only. Edit: tried the full skin texture and it mostly works, but if I change skin color only the body changes, not the face, and they don't start at what I want them to be, so it's not very helpful.
  23. Never even opened the CK, using Redguard, and at that point it was all vanilla, I've also used, in any combination you'd like to imagine, UNP, UNPB, Bella's Better Females, UNPB Sporty Sexy Map, and Xenius Character Enhancement I heard it might be FixTintGamma in the enbseries.ini, or also a main file problem, so I verified integrity of the game cache and neither helped.
  24. I was playing skyrim, very happily, when I went into Vlindrel Hall, and walking out I noticed that my warpaint had disappeared. I couldn't figure out what happened, still can't, no warpaints work at all, currently, but while trying to fix it a massive neckseam appeared. I tried uninstalling all body/face mods and it still is there. On top of that, my body is about ten shades darker than my face. When I go into showracemenu it fixes the body color, but if I unequip and requip my armor it reappears. The neck seam I'm not too worried about as I am rarely close enough to notice, but the different colors and lack of warpaint are really bugging me, if anyone has had a similar problem or could help me in any way I would greatly appreciate it.
