Bit late to this party so I'm not sure if anyone will answer--are there any plans with the new site to alter the structure so that you don't need to log into the Mod and Forum sections separately? It's not a major desire, just something I'm curious about. Otherwise I'm glad to see that this is progressing.

I agree wholeheartedly. This has a been a sad incident born of miscommunication and misunderstandings on several levels, but undoubtedly the ones who did the most damage at the end of the day were the community members. We finished the fight I guess. But I for one do not like how this has ended.

THANK YOU TO ALL MODDERS FOR WHAT YOU DO!
Sebiale replied to OnoSendai58's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
More than ever this should be a message to send out. There are several casualties of this kerfuffle involving Steam paid mods, but I don't know if any are worse than inter-community damage that may have been done to the modding scene. I'm not saying there's been some kind of slaughter, mind you. I'm sure for many people this probably won't have any great, undue effect, but the tragedy of this is that it should never escalated into what it became. Miscommunication and misunderstandings led to some regrettable events and words. It's just been a sad incident. We should let this event remind us of what an amazing thing we have here, not just at the Nexus but modding in all games, and to cherish it all the more. So, because it can't be said enough: Thank you modders, for everything. -
Is there a mod that would let me hide the player cursor on the world and local maps? I'm looking to make it so that I can actually become lost.

Cool, didn't realize it had that function.

I'm not sure how to search for this, but does anyone know if there's a mod that allows me to keep an alternate set of equipment? I was hoping to use it to easily swap between my armor and indoor clothing.

Does this not work if I start the game with SKSE via Mod Organizer? -
Why shouldn't you clean more than one plugin at a time?
Sebiale replied to Sebiale's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
My original question asking about cleaning multiple plugins at once as in loading multiple plugins into TES5Edit and then selecting multiple plugins to clean at once. My second question was about loading multiple plugins and then cleaning them one at a time. -

I see. Is it OK for me to load different plugins at once as long as I clean them one at a time? -

In Gopher's guide to cleaning masters with TES5Edit he says you shouldn't clean multiple files at once. Why not? -
Can Bethesda make more than 255 mods possible?
Sebiale replied to Sebiale's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Ah yes, that's what they're called. Couldn't remember. Wrye Bash just calls them mods. -

Sorry, I was unclear, I didn't mean change it for Skyrim. I was just wondering in general if the capability existed for there to be more than 255 mods installed at once. -

Isn't is .esp, .esm, and .bsa? -
Since it's a technical issue with the amount of bits that each mod requires, is this something that Bethesda could alter if they so chose or is it some kind of limit that comes from the architecture of computer software?
-
The two main ones seem to be Hearthfire multiple adoptions and Multiple Marriages. There's also Spouses Can Live Everywhere, although that one seems limited in purpose compared to the other two. My two main issues are that: According to the HMA page, MM was never updated for Hearthfire, is this still true?HMA seems nice, but it looks like it only supports specific, instanced homes, where as MM and SCLE appear to support any location as a home. Correct?

It's at least related to ENB. As soon as I removed the d3d9.dll file the game began running again. Any ideas?

How much RAM do you have and is all your software up to date?

NMM Doesn't load files into skyrim folder.
Sebiale replied to Syngrith's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
MO doesn't load files into the Skyrim folder either, they're all kept separate. Which is really nice, because it used to just be an absolute mess in there if you were running a lot of mods.- 8 replies

Random CTD. Mod confliction. Need Knowledge About Compatibility
Sebiale replied to tlc279124's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The Additional Vanilla Follower Voice Types isn't a plugin, it's just a file that adds more voices to followers. Though it should still be installed. I would look into the AoS compatibility patches, and I would also get a hold of Wrye Bash so you can create a Bashed patch and see if that helps. -
Yeah, you should completely uninstall both Skyrims and then reinstall the Steam version.

I start using SKSE via MO. I also run BOSS and Wrye Bash after installing/uninstalling mods. Wasn't sure how else how to share the BOSSlog, so here's the HTML file via Dropbox. You'll need to download it. :S https://www.dropbox.com/s/ypyoeh6ppsysgwf/BOSSlog.html ETA: Discovered the Plain Text version: P.S. One thing I've been unsure about--I installed the Wrye Bash Bashed patch as a mod in MO, will rebuilding the patch keep the version installed in MO up to date?
