  1. "Vanilla" does mean that it's something original that came with the game, right? Wasn't sure but I heard it implied that way before. Regardless, I'm having a problem with an NPC file in the TES Construction Set. Dark19murderer3 which is the Khajiit underling at the end of the Dark Brotherhood quest. I have edited him into a CM Partner (he still has the underling commands too) and I've checked both the Essential box and the Quest Item box. But for some reason when I test him to see if it works I am able to kill him. What's wrong with this edit? I've saved it as a plugin after I gave him a makeover, because I wanted him to wear a Dark Brotherhood leather helmet too. Everything I've modified on him inlcuding health and skills are active and work correctly. Except he is not actually an essential even though he is ticked as one. I thought the original CM Partners are supposed to be essential right? Well I changed his script to the partnerscript and added everything cm to him. I don't have the non-essential file installed either. I also tried using the console command setessential (id) 1 but it didn't recognize the command. What could be wrong?
  2. It irritates me how there is only one stalking around in the lobby... I tried adding a "DarkGuardianSanctuary" from the list of "creatures" in the TES Construction Set. Which I believe is the file name of the first guardian, but the one I added was hostile. Is there any way to change it so it isn't hostile to me or any of my CM Partners? I didn't do anything to it except add it in the lobby. So I probably need to edit it right? When I opened the Reference box on it I noticed a tab saying Ownership. Do I need to set the ownership to the Dark Brotherhood faction? I don't even know what that does since I've never edited a creature so far. :unsure:
  3. Will I get the special ability that comes with the master skill too? For example, I think either master level of acrobatics or athletics allows you to jump on top of water without falling in. As long as you keep jumping that is.
  4. Is there a console command that will max out your skills other than just setting the level? Something that will give me all the master skills, apprentice, or journeyman? I know it's bad to cheat, but I was just going to have a bit of fun with my character. I maxed out her skill levels to 255 for everything. But without actually leveling the natural way I can't learn any master skills for specific things, such as sneak. I have the TES Construction Set and I just wanted to know if there is any way to mod your own character save file from that? That is if there aren't any console commands that will set my character to master level of all skills.
  5. So this mod will replace the old Khajiit body? I had debated on whether it was the Ragdoll mod or the Male Body Replacer mod I had installed. I tried disabling both but neither fixed the problem. Probably because one of them replaced the original Khajiit skeleton. Is it possible the Ragdoll was what messed up the files since Coronerras mod says it is incompatible? When I had only Ragdoll I never experienced this problem until I installed Jo'Han, which originally led me to install the mods required for him to work. Which were CM Partners, Slofs Khajiit Retexture (which is just a texture I think) and Male Body Replacer V4. :unsure:
  6. Ok, so I'm a bit new to modding. And I just made a Khajiit partner using the CM Partners mod and the TES Construction set. Everything works fine except his tail is extremely long, and it shoots out through the wall. Everywhere I go it stretches far away from my Khajiit like he was a leper... And when I downloaded a CM partner named Jo'Han he had the exact same derriere problem. :wallbash: I can't figure it out. The mods I currently have installed are, Sheepherder's Vampirism Vanilla Oblivion Style Akatosh Mount by Saiden Storm Natural Environments Realistic Ragdolls and Force V3 Mida's Magic Spells Rideable Slaughterfish Apachii Goddess Store Female EyeCandy Body Replacer CM Partners Nighteye Replacements Until recently while I was trying to figure this thing out, I had these mods. Jo'han the Witch Hunter Slofs Khajiit Retexture Male Body Replacer V4 by Robert2 Does anyone know what the conflict is? Or maybe I'm missing a file now because of a corrupt file replacing the original Khajiit tail mesh? I have no idea and its driving me crazy trying to figure this out by myself. What I find odd though, is how its only the CM Khajiit partners doing this that I have created or downloaded. I haven't found any that came with the CM download so I don't know if they have the same problem. I really hope someone can figure this out or provide me with a file that replenishes the old Khajiit body. :thanks:
