  1. Hello. Basically, I downloaded the wasteland energy shields mod. Great mod. Highly recommended. Anyways, there's this really annoying thing about this mod where whenever rad storms hit the shield is so weak to radiation the storms constantly knock out my shields even when fully upgraded. It'd be one thing if I was in the glowing sea and then a rad storm hit and knocked them out, but regardless of where I'm at, if there's a rad storm, any protection I have is caput. I've tried finding whatever values I need to in order to boost the shield recharge rate or decrease the sensitivity to radiation in FO4 edit, but while I've found a lot of really interesting effects, I can't find what I'm looking for and the mod author has apparently been gone for years so he ain't talking to explain what I have to do.   2. Okay, okay! FINALLY found the scripts I'm looking for... I think. In any event, it's in file explorer and notepad that I found them! I wish I could show everyone the image of the script folders, but I can't for the life of me post it without getting the, 'you are not allowed to use this file extension' message. In any event, I now just need someone to help me figure out what values I have to change to make radiation a little less abusive to my shields. Also, it wouldn't hurt to figure out just how to buff the shields a bit too.
  3. How do I find and change the script in F04Edit then? Not sure you can..... I *think* there is a standalone script editor/compiler though.... Should be able to see some of the script properties in FO4Edit though.... I would think..... How though? I ask because from a related mod, the mod author said: If you want to modify the shields If you want to increase or decrease any of the shields stats, capacity ect... Open the mod up in CK. Edit the script code for "WastelandGuardianMain" then look for "Function PlayerLevelUp()" (Line 138). In there you will see the update modes for Enhanced and normal shields. There is descriptions ect.. in the code. Change the values, save script and file. Then once in game, toggle Enhanced shields to get the stats you changed to.

  7. Hello. I've recently been trying to find modpacks/collections of quest mods that go really well together or else at least don't contradict each other in terms of location and/or item placement, but I've been unable to find any. Most modpacks/collections seem more focused on radically altering the game for some purpose or another but I've not seen packs with something like say, Tales from the Wasteland mixed with, say, Maxwell's World or anything. If anyone knows where I can find some really great questmod collections that jive or at least don't get in each other's way, that'd be really rad. If anyone just knows if certain quest mods conflict with each other or don't, that'd also be really rad. Thank you.
  8. Funny you mention the nanosuit, because I'm using the Crysis 2 nanosuit right now for my fun/mod testing/debugging character. The only problem is that, I've gotten to that annoying point in survivor where leveled enemies start popping up and wrecking you if you don't get the initiative, and even beforehand and with lots of perks and upgrades, lower level enemies had a decent enough chance of taking me down. So, I decided to make an enchantment to place on an armor attachment that would give me a bit of a boost because the vanilla mod's attachments are lackluster at best. Nothing too crazy, as I tested out by copying the Crysis 2 nanosuit and applying the enchantment to it, but just something to break up the grind this playthrough has devolved into of having to sneak around and draw first blood EVERY time for that sneak bonus or else get wrecked and hard most likely even if I do expend hundreds of shots of ammo. It's especially balanced considering it requires Armorer Rank 4 and Science rank 1... and Hacker rank 1. However, I've run into a bit of a snag, since I just can't figure out how to make the attachment mod, make it viewable under the 'Sizes' category in the weapons workbenches, give it the conditions necessary to not be greyed out if you have the materials to make it, and giving it a recipe and stuff. Does anyone here know how to do this? All the stuff I saw on youtube was more for making custom WEAPONS in generally and didn't really get into armor mods all that much or in excruciating detail.
