  1. So i have searched countless pages, and for some reason no matter what method i use, Textmod is not reading the TPF files for all or any mods i try to install, if anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I had the same problem a while back and the simple solution was to remove any and all Follower mods and reinstall, From what i read online sometimes scripts get conflicted with other mods, causing the voice dialogue not to work properly, so i decided to search for any mods i had which might effect scripts, then i installed one at a time to see what ones were causing the glitch, this may not work for your current problem, but it helped me, I'm no expert at modding or solutions, just thought i would share what i experienced.
  3. In my experience if Direct X isn't stalled properly or it didn't install fully before launching the game, that could effect the game files also. But glad to hear you got it figured out.
  4. I'm running a I3 core processor with 4 gigs on ultra settings, plus high res mods such as Water, Flower and flora cites etc, no FPS drop what so ever, i have had 0 issues at all, plus about 150 mods, still running Windows 7 not sure if that really has any big part in play with FPS, but maybe that will give you an idea.
  5. Where do i find these mods, I'm finding the original soundtrack to be a bit stale right now, as i have played Skyrim several times, time for a change, any help would be great thanks  This is a music replacer: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65435/? You need to own Morrowind and Oblivion so you can use those sound files. It doesn't take long to set up. Don't be fooled by only 7 endorsements. It works perfectly. If you just want Oblivion and Morrowind to go alongside Skyrim you can download this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30568/? I switch between this music and "Legends of Hope" which you can find by googling. Thanks Vram, sadly i only have Oblivion will this effect if i can use any of these?
  6. My guess would be also depends on if you're running a decent OS, This is just my opinion, i have read where tons of people have had nothing but problems sinse the install, and i have also heard claims where none were effected by this at all, like i said I'm just taking a stab at my theory, because i do run a decent machine, it may be how good it's set up also
  7. No problem, let me know if you have any more questions, I'll help out as much as i can :)
  8. Can you add a link? I couldn't find it, you know how messy steam workshop is. Yes i can, let me post the link for you http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=87578317 Here you go, i was wrong it's Titled Multiple Followers Light mod
  9. I agree with to a point i honestly can't go back to playing it without mods, the vanilla version is just too vague and boring, not to mention the character creation is a bust on the vanilla version
  10. Where do i find these mods, I'm finding the original soundtrack to be a bit stale right now, as i have played Skyrim several times, time for a change, any help would be great thanks :)
  11. I have too many to list, but i sue ones that i think help with tedious questing, such as Stones of baranziah, Pure water, pure flowers/growth, lighting unread books glow, these are a few i find to help make the game a bit more enjoyable without actually breaking the game mechanics.
  12. I haven't used or upgraded to 10 at all for this very reason, there are too many problems with 10 already, if you're using the console and getting a lag spike where you have a delayed reaction, it's sounds like a FPS issue with Windows 10, that's just my theory, but any time i have experienced a delayed reaction to any game it was usually a FPS issue or Video drivers wern't updated.
  13. I use the Light Follower mod off of Steam Workshop it allows you to have 7 followers, no bugs, no cdt's. It's really nice when you want or need more than one companion, especially when you're trying to create a new playthrough, it just makes the game more realistic, i have played tons of games where you're only allowed one at a time, to me that's just not realistic, having one or more comp each with different skills and backgounds make it more realistic to me.
  14. Writing a backstory is something i have always wanted to do, but was never sure how to pull it off, i create a new character and little idea's come up, but just not sure how to write it into a story to tell about the character, i was always good at thinking up idea's, but to put them down in writing just isn't my thing, lucky for me I'm currently taking writing classes, I also have made some friends on Facebook who write Fanfic which has helped me get started. But i like reading all of your guys material, i enjoy story telling doesn't matter if it's big or small, i appreciate the detail you guys put into your charaters, to really give a more indepth view on where they come from, i always that was really a important part of gaming is telling a story everyone can relate to in some way or another.
  15. I loved Oblivion but I'm the type of guy thats drawn to really immersive storylines and such, i loved the cities, dungeons, Characters ect. I tried it on my friends console then bought the Game Of The Year Edition on PC, so i can go back and enjoy it all over again, just like i do with Skyrim, Had we not been so blessed with talented modders, i probably wouldn't play any of them, The mods truly bring a whole new experience to both games, Sadly i never finished Morrowind i would like to one of these days, but it's kind of hard to break away from Skyrim atm. What i love about the Elder scrolls games is so many different quest and little stories to go with the main quest lines, you can play any of these games at your own leisure, even if you don't do every single last quest, the games still have tons of content to offer, That's why i love these games, there isn't any rule saying you have to do this or that, you can pick and choose how you want your story to begin or end.
