  1. I'm thinking that the paid section of the Steam Workshop can work like Vessel. If you pay for it you will always get early access to the newer version of the mod compared to getting it free on Nexus. Authors can even make "premium" versions of the mod with added functionality similar to how free phone apps work. And as new versions of the mod come out with new "premium" features old "premium" features will be added to the free version of the mod. Also I think for donations on Nexus to be utilized more the donation feature should be made much easier. Alot of the time people won't mind donating a small amount to mod authors. But they just can't be bothered to log on to paypal and go through all of that stuff. If donations were as simple as a slider and the click of a button I think we will be seeing alot more of it on Nexus. Lets face it. Its highly unlikely that Valve and Bethesda will simply remove this campaign and apologize for jeopardizing the modding community. The paid section of workshop is here to stay. The best we can do now is look for a way for free and paid modding to coexist without the free users to miss out too much. Personally I am happy to pay the authors of the mods that I like. I'm kinda ok with paying Bethesda. But I am not happy with paying valve. They contributed to 0% of the mods' creation and success.
  2. Unfortunately that didn't fix the problem, I moved all UFO plugins to the very top right under the esms. I didn't try the patch because i'm not using custom followers. I also noticed that I am still able to command Serana to do something by holding down the talk button
  3. Today after playing a few hours of skyrim, I discovered that I can't talk to Serana anymore. I can talk to anyone else just fine, including my other followers Jenassa and Aranea. The same thing happened before with Jenassa, and reloading to a save before it happened fixes it. But this time the save that works is pretty old and i don't want to redo the quests that i have done. Here are some things that i have tried: Restarting Skyrim Disable/Enable Serana Fast traveling Waiting/Resting ResetAI on Serana Uninstalling recently installed mods (Quite a few of them) None of these worked. The only fix it seems is to reload a save, but as I said that last save that is working is pretty old, and i would like to find out what is causing it in the first place and fixing it permanently. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Not working, tried disable and enable, not working either
  5. I recently installed the mod hotter skyrim (not available on the nexus anymore), and when i first got into the game to seethe effects, it looked great. However, after playing for a while, I noticed that all of the npcs that were changed by hotter skyrim all got smaller So i immediately uninstalled the mod hotter skyrim but when i checked in game again the effected npcs are still smaller I tried setscale 1 but apparently that was not the problem as the npcs still remained the same size, but i was able to make them bigger with something like setscale 1.03. i also tried loading to a save prior to installing the mod but still the same problem Any suggestions?
  6. You should save before turning in the quest before Vingalmo's quest, because the next quest is generated when you turn in the current quest. After turning it in go check the quest, if you don't like it reload and try again. I however is experiencing a different problem. When I received the quest Vingalmo told me that my spouse is Halbarn Iron Fur, but in fact I am married to Muiri and only Muiri
  7. So i'm trying to get Sharpshooters version 3 to work since it has compatibility with climates of tamriel. However the enb requires v170, and apparently it has been already deleted from the site. Others say that v172 works too but I can't find that one either :( Does anyone know another place to download the version 170 binaries or if you have the d3d9.dll can you send it to me? Thanks. My first post BTW
  8. Solution found!!!! Can't believe how I didn't think of this before. UGH!! Since its the ENB thats messing with the sun, just delete the whole area in enbseries.ini involving the sun. Problem Solved
  9. Both falkreath and the rift are forested areas, the grass in these forests are very resource intensive and if you have mods such as lush grass it will definitely slow you down. Going into the manor will help because your computer won't have to render the grass anymore
  10. Then the sun becomes like that all the time
  11. Tried , other ENB's somehow makes the sun disappear wholesale (think its somehow confusing the sun for a cloud). Reverting back to the default sharpshooters settings seems to make that sun smaller. I'm already using a custom sunglare which is skyrim sunglare V4. During that particular weather there seems to be two suns. One is the ugly one (I'm assuming its the vanilla one) and the custom one is in the center of the ugly sun
  12. Yup, turning off enb (using sharpshooters) solves it. So now how do you solve it? All I know about it is that it only happens during that particular weather and it happens much more often in solitude
  13. Did you find a way to fix it? I have this problem too. I know this is a pretty old thread but it only started to happen recently with me and you seem to be the only one who has the same problem as me. Also this only happens periodically and I think its related to CoT because it only happens during that particular weather (that dark blue sky with minimal clouds)
