Hi Guys i just recently got a new computer, so i wasn't able to finish signing into the site until recently, but I'm enjoying the community thus far, hope to get to know you guys, but here it goes, I'm in my 40's i used to be a hardcore partier til it got me into trouble, so i took up gaming, which has been more fullfilling then seeing a judge. I have been into games most of my life going all the way back to the first Atari, Most of the games i enjoy are single player RPG and FPS, some of my favorites are Knights Of The Old Republic, Battlefront, Most of the Aliens franchise, Mass Effect, The Witcher series, i would have to say is my top favorite then Skyrim. Since i came back to the site i had spent several hours looking and reading your mods you have available, and i want to say you guys are very talented and creative individuals, your mods have made my game ten thousand times better, I'm hoping to learn more about mods while being here, but I'm mostly here to enjoy talking to people who enjoy gaming like i do. I find all of this funny, because it's ok to spend 5 to 10 years on a game that is filled with Vilolence to the teeth, some sex, and harsh language, but yet they somehow want to throw in the morality card, to obviously covers thier own butts, that's just my opinion but here in the U.S. our rules and laws are so half assed backwards it's unreal, there is Porn everywhere, T.V. shows that glorify partying and screwing who ever, but in a game if certain boundries are crossed it's taboo. I just don't understand it, talk about contradicting that's morality at it's best.

So.... in the recent days i started having some major issues with Skyrim CTD almost on a regular basis, enough for me to want to pull my hair out, i was on the last leg of defeating Alduin, and everytime i traveled on the dragon i would get a instant CDT, So i started brainstorming possible issues, Mods conflicting? wrong mod order? I decided to start with a clean slate, i used my smart phone to remember what mods i had installed and then began removing every single mod from the game, and uninstalling Skyrim, I made copy's of my save files for my characters and saved them to desktop, I then went through and deleted every file associated with Skyrim on my Hardrive. So thus after completetly erasing my game from my computer i went and did a security scan and sure enough, somehow my SKSE got corrupted with a Virus that was conflicting with the DLL"s needed to run it smoothly with Skyrim, then i did a full registry repair and found multiple issues, it also turns out my Antivirus was not doing it's job so i uninstalled that also and put a better program, my favorite antivirus of choice is Avast, i have never ever had any issues running it, and as a user for close to ten years i stand by it. Anyways not to get off track, after adding new Antivirus and doing a full registry scan and fixing every possible issue, i started the task of reinstalling Skyrim, then i began installing my mods starting with my Character creation mods, CHBC, CBBE Ect. and to my amazement after i finished reinstalling all of my mods and reinstalling SKSE, my game runs like brand new, i have had 0 CTD"s. I know there are far more advanced players on here, i just wanted to share this so if you're having the same issues i was, be sure to check your PC, Yes Skyrim has it's issues but before throwing in the towel, you may have a conflicting program which is making your life miserable. I love going in and clearing the place out, playing the alternate route is nice, i did the join the DB on my very first play through, it was fun and exciting, but doing the same quest got boring real quick, so doing a new play through where you get to go in and destroy them for good, for me personally is alot of fun.

Do you have the link to the site for the SKSE because the one i was using seems to screw up my game and make it crash, My original question was there is supposed to be a safe at Serethi Farm you break into that has the crafting manual for the Celus Nightengale armor set, it's a very beautiful mod, i seen it and wanted to use it, but i'm having issues with my SKSE atm.

Ok so.. i went back to the farm, but the safe isn't there, i think I'm having problems with the mod, i also found a virus file in my SKSE download. so it looks like i won't be using this mod or any other one that requires skse

I'm glad I'm not the only one, i took m ine out just so my game would quit crashing, If you guys know a solution, i would also greatly appreciate it, I'm very new to this, so i have had my share of trial and error mess ups, Thanks :)

Hi Everyone I'm pretty new here, i have been enjoying downloading the great content you guys put out, i really like the many choices we have to make our gaming experience better, but what I'm here for is i can't seem to figure out how the Celus Nightengale armor mod works, i have been to the farm but i see no box in the description, do i have to pick up a Heist quest from Vex, Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I hope to get to know many of you and learn how to become a modder on here as well. Thanks Hope Everyone has a great day!!
