  1. So, I meshed a weapon in blender, Exported it opened it in Nifskope however there isnt any BSShaderTextureSet for me to apply textures to it, Im at a total loss as to what i can do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :turned:
  2. Hello all, I plan on making the mesh for Theodens sword from LOTR Herugrim.   3. I really like these 7 ideas. #1 - Im pretty sure tytanis mod is playing around with spears. #2 - Very easy to do when the CK comes out. (Size of battles depends solely on if your rig can handle it) #3 - Im sure some fairly decent scripting could get that done, although i wouldnt really know all too well. #4 - I always thought a place like skyrim would be riddled with pretty life threatening diseases. #5 - I 100% love the idea of insta kill poisons for sabotaging meals, drinks or reverse pickpocketting like traps. (Would be pretty difficult to get this to work though) #6 - Bound shield FTW. #7 - Raiding carriages would be fun but difficult to make again.

  5. I'd put my money on the blades and whichever faction you sided with warring with the thalmor as a DLC
  6. Yeah for something like this to take off and work successfully, you'd need someone pretty damn elite at scripting to get it done.
  7. From what I remember of my very short meshing attempts, moving it around in the 3rd person angle alters the first person one too, although i could be entirely wrong. Probably best to ask somebody more experienced with it via personal message..
  8. Hi all, This is basically a request for someone who is already busy with a mod or likes the idea. I've tried my hand at meshing and texturing before and it wasnt really my thing, I also wasnt very good at it, so i'll probably stick to making locations, quests, companions etc when the creation kit is out :P However down to the request, I was wondering (Hoping) Somebody would be kind enough to have a go at making Boromirs armour from the Lord of the rings: Fellowship of the Ring film, im not a fan of the big heavy armours in the game and wanted a lighter armour/clothing.   9. Is there any mods that can make companions more useful, like keeping pace with you instead of vanishing when clearing a dungeon or making them able to duel wield swords? Also, one making it so when they go down in combat, enemies actually finish them off.
  10. Cant see this so called video? However if you cant linked ref or are having difficulties with it, make sure the object your linking to has the persistent reference box checked.

Hey all, im a pretty avid legion player and kinda feel held back especially early game by the lack of legion in the Mojave as well the overwhelming amounts of NCR typically everyone will hate you if you aren't buddies with them. I've made a few mods, BoS overhaul but mainly player homes etc, but i want to make a legion fort to expand their presence in the northern region of the map however I also wanted to include a companion and since I dont have the foggiest on how to create a companion, I wanted to use a legion companion made by somebody else. However they're banned, is there any possible way of obtaining permission to use his file?

Hey all, im pretty inexperienced in scripting all I can do is get light to switch on and off with parent objects etc, Im needing a script that will auto lock a door behind me once i've opened it with a key or even be able to manually lock it from an in game terminal but havent the foggiest where to start, any help would be appreciated :)

Hey, i tried making a revolver but hit a snag with the reload cylinder when i move it into place for first person everything is fine, but in third person its out of place, if i move it into place in third person it moves out of place in first?! There moving in opposite directions? That makes it impossible for me to get them both in the right place? is there anything i can do to fix this? :(
  17. that would be down to the texture for the door you would need a program to edit that or erase the number, i use GIMP with a DDS. plugin erasing the number would be a fairly simple task
  18. All fixed thank you :) However a new issue has arrised it looks great in firsts person but in 3rd person everything has moved around? :(
  19. Im new to blender as well but im pretty sure i know the answer, when you export from blender use the fallout 3 default but turn on shadow map under shader options :)
  20. Hi all, Just finished up my mod put it in geck equipped it in game looks perfect in first person as everything should be, however.. in third person the loading cylinder is floating out of place? could anyone suggest how I can fix this? :(
  21. Right, Im not going to lie, i tried this myself with no 3d modelling experience i tried to make a ranger sequoia with the 357. revolvers loading gate and the 44. magnums handle. I pumped around 30 hours hard work into it, and failed. Miserably. I doubt this will be made but its worth a try, anyone fancy it? Otherwise can anyone send me links to good western style revolver mods, i cant find any :(
  22. Hi all, i just finished my model and texture for a new revolver but when i export it and open it in geck it looks fine as it is supposed to but when i add it to a cell the weapon cannot be selected if i ground it and go to get it in game it cannot be picked up.. can anyone help? :(

Fixed that problem all it was, was that my eyes were misleading me i just flipped the faces, but with one problem comes a new, when i put my model into the geck it cannot be slected in the render window but if i ground it and go in game to get it.. it cannot be picked up? im really confused now :D

UPDATE: Okay so i can get it in geck now by putting it into nifskope and saving it there however i have a new problem when i open my nif file with nifskope it actually deletes some parts of my mesh as if the vertices were there, but if i save it in nifskope and open it with blender the missing bits re-appear? helpsies? :D
  25. Hey all, Having some issues exporting my new revolver, When i export it and load the model up in geck it only loads one part of the model? Any suggestions?
