  1. I have been working on a mod that decorates and clutters novac, but I am running low on ideas atm and been having bad luck trying to find reference photos. I am basing most of the town off of Baker, CA (for the thermometer) and Cabazon, CA (for their collection of dinosaur statues) while trying to throw in some elements of roadside towns. I would really like to hear some ideas for additions, and would also like some reference photos of these kind of places that I can try to take some inspiration from. I am not going to make the alien jerky place from Baker as part of this mod. I will be making that it's whole own mod eventually. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this post, I could only think of this forum and the request page or this one, and I AM making it.
  2. Is there a tutorial (preferably a video) anywhere that shows how to create a custom creature/race? I am using Darklynxxx's DogMetal assets (with his permission of course) to try and make robodogs and to add them to multiple leveled lists, but I am completely lost trying to make anything.
  3. I'm assuming it works like the steam workshop, though I have no basis on this. I just really need to be able to manage it in my load order without it messing up anything else.
  4. Any info on if mods work together well in mod managers, preferably NMM? I remember having to mess around a bit to get steam workshop mods to work correctly in MO.

  6. I would also love to see this, maybe even in the robot workshop. Then we could create weird sentry horse abominations! Also horse armor...
  7. I would love to see a return of the roboscorpions from old world blues. I would be alright to just see them doing normal scorpion animations! An optionally cool thing would be to see it working with the robot workshop- adding treads instead of legs to make the scorpion tank from wasteland for example!
  8. When SM use miniguns sometimes the go into the mutant T(?) pose with their arms to their sides. I think it may be their reloading animation. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a way to fix it? I can post a picture if needed.
  9. Ha ha, nice arena! I really need to get around to building one... Ya, murkwater seems to be a good place to raise lurks' but there are a lot of places to raise them.
  10. I would like to hear some ideas on what settlements would make the most sense for a creature. I want to try and have at least one settlement per tamed creature, since they try to kill each other otherwise. For example: Slog - feral ghouls - because ghouls with ghouls
  11. This seems to only be happening on my MO profile, and not when I launch it from steam...
  12. I don't know if it's just me, but in WW the feral ghoul cage only ever captures charred ferals. I would like to see more variety in my ghoul pack amassing in the slog. Maybe even add glowing ones too.
  13. I am getting constant ctds around swan's pond, including the nearby raider fire-escape camp. I've only had a single other CTD so far. Is this a known issue? Its really annoying and I cannot continue unlikely valentine.
  14. I am trying to create a patch between my own mod, and NVBII. I have to move a parking lot I made, when I am done doing that in the GECK, I go in-game but the move objects are now in both places instead of one. How do I fix this? What am I doing wrong? I can post a link to a picture if needed.
  15. Okay, nexus had a hiccup and deleted my huge post and I'm too tired to retype the whole thing. I used to use NMM, It couldn't handle some of the esps required for playable SM. So I switched to MO 2.0 from Github, and made a separate profile for the SM character, which worked. I later switched back to my normal profile and it crashed whenever I tried to load my character, usually soon after the object appeared in the loading screen. I tried launching from my desktop launcher which worked. I tried launching again from MO, and tried both the direct launch and the launcher, and one of them made all of my esps disable, this continued to happen whenever I tried to load or launch that profile. I could switch back to the SM profile and it seemed to work correctly. Now I am really paranoid about launching the game, what is happening? how do I fix it? In short, got MO 2.0 one profile works, the other crashes and disables mods. Please let me know if I need to clarify anything of if there are any questions.
  16. I just started playing with the playable super mutant mod, and I can't find the super mutant faction id. Does anyone know it?
  17. The stupid physics and raiders have decided to dump most of the finch farm signs onto the floor, which is a huge shame since I loved how it looked and I have no idea when it happened. Is there a console command, or a mod that can allow me to put these signs back up? Or am I just stuck with this until my character meets its corruption-death?
  18. Sorry if the title is confusing. I got TTW a while ago, which overlapped my alt. start mod, I just didn't make any new characters until I decided I really wanted to fix it. Is there a way to make roleplayers alt. start take priority over TTW? I don't mind not starting in DC, I only use the mod as a requirement for other mods for the most part. Secondly, can Mod Organize have seperate .inis for separate load orders? I just got DUST but I cannot start a new game possibly because of the new TTW ini. I am very sorry if this doesn't belong here or if I am unclear, please let me know if I need to fix or clarify anything.
  19. Thank you! I use MO for skyrim, but was unsure of how well it handles New Vegas. I am going to try and make the transition. hopefully everything works well.
