  1. That is certainly fine. I best expect you will have the utmost luck in completing your projects, however, if you want to contribute in any way even as simple as giving advice, lore, & NPC writing, we would be more than happy to have help. Of course you can always recommend & share as well, even if you cannot join us much. :D
  2. There is actually a community mod being made for Atmora at least, it is known as Atmora Calling. It is likely to have a few expansions, but the initial mod should be out not too far in the future (definitely before TES VI & maybe Fallout 4). I myself had joined after I had begun on working on a personal project to make Atmora. I have since decided to pool my efforts into this project. If you are interested in being a modder on the project, check out some of the forum posts around Nexus.
  3. Some of these ideas could work in a quest or new lands mod known as Atmora Calling or also previously Frostfall Eternal. I think that some of the ideas may fit into a mod set in Atmora for example. I am working on such a mod with a team, so some concepts such as the Ice Wyvern could work. Cannot say too much about a monster mod for Skyrim combining all of those. Perhaps more people will see this & chime in.
  4. I best trust that this will not bother you too much, but there is a project to bring the continent of Atmora into the game of Skyrim. We have already got a team & would not mind any new modders & voice actors. The website for the mod is http://atmora-calling.freeforums.net/ & has been called both Frostfall Eternal, but more recently Atmora calling. I myself had joined the team & contributed some of what I had from when I had been making my own mod. We have several other modders like myself, & definitely want interested community input. We would love to have you aboard, as we do need modelers. We are open to whomever wants to check it out & spread the word.
  5. The Maormer race could have a couble different pre-sets/complexions, right? There could be one type of Sea Elf that uses a more fish-like texture or has scale-like skin & there could be another type that has more jellyfish-like traits. If one wanted to make the jellyfish-like traits, all one might need might just be an altered ghost texture for the outer layer /skin (the Spectral Draugr of Labrynthian could be a starting base). In any case, there could be at least a few choices in character customization that could handle the bit of variation on the Maormer. It also might not be such a bad idea to allow for them to have options for slightly blue, grey, green, & mixed (teal) tinges. Maormer are not Falmer after all, plus they do live in much more tropical locations. They still might not react the same way to sun though, since they apparently live in a somewhat stormy region about the Padomaic Ocean. They still could have slightly more aquatic abilities than regular elves, though they might not be able to water-breath like Argonians (they still might be able to dive deeper than an Altmer though).
  6. One of our modders is also working on the Atmoran language. It should be very interesting, so feel free to chime in on that as well. Here is a link for it: https://www.reddit.com/r/teslore/comments/3es8id/atmoran_language_now_in_open_beta/ There are many ambitious things we may get to in this mod, so stay tuned. We aim to keep things lore friendly while expanding on some things, adding realism, & with elements of fantasy in respect of what makes the Elder Scrolls series so much appreciated.
  7. There may be a chance some of you heard about a new mod known as Atmora Calling, but in case you haven't it is a survivalist adventure mod. Started by Rhodiera, this mod has been working towards a community project to bring Atmora to life in the game of Skyrim. It has recently garnered some attention from Reddit (r/teslore) as well as several other places. I myself have joined in their team, though I had started working on Atmora mod myself, I saw a chance to pool what I had into this project. I had initially begun my beginning mod to remember & honor an old Minecraft server I had been admin on, which was set in Atmora. You can still find the old forums for this at http://tesatmora.enjin.com , so I welsome you to see that as well. There have also been other mod authors who were working on making an Atmora mod come on board. The mod in essence, is a chance to explore Atmora on a new expedition. You & the expedition crew land in Atmora but must survive the harsh weather among other things. You as a player get to explore the ruins, seek treasures, & search through the legends of Atmora. The Dragonborn may also face some surprises & possibly get lost in time. We do plan to get the initial mod out sometime within a year or so, but may well work on further expansions. We can be largely found at http://atmora-calling.freeforums.net/ so do check it out. Do feel free to discuss this & share as well. We are currently looking for voice-actors, but modders are welcome just as well. Let me know if you want more information by commenting or messaging. I can also give the information if you are interested voice-acting. It is also on the modding forum as well (posted by Rhodiera, here is a link), but here is just a spot for more general purposes & discussion. Thank you all for reading
  8. Here are some ones I have? What do you call an elf on Skooma? -A 'High' Elf!What made the Hero shout? -He hit his 'Thu'um.'An elf gets mad & leaves the room. What do you call him? -A 'Done' Mer!If a Daedric prince recently got off a plane, what would he feel? - Jygga-lagg!If a group picture is taken, what does old Sheo say just after? [cheese]... FOR EVERYONE!When a Nord is travelling around Apocrypha, what happens? -He gets 'At Mora'!Why is the Imperial Legion stuck snooping around the land of Bretons? -They heard it is called "High Rock" for a reason. What are the views of the Thalmor? -'All in or' all out!!! (think about this a little)What do energetic Nords enjoy? - Sky-Rum for the day & Sky-REM for the night! If you enjoy these jokes, let me know. Also, check out a mod I am working on with the modding community known as Atmora Calling. It is an excellent project that could use plenty of interested people & perhaps some good jokes as well! Do check it out!
  9. I have joined this project to be with a great community that wants to build an Atmora mod just as much as myself. I had previously been working on my own mod for Atmora but have decided to pool what I can into this project. I am also on Dark Creations & formerly had a Minecraft Server set in Atmora. The forums for that can still be found . In any case, a community endeavor for this project would make for an epic mod that many of us could appreciate.
  10. I have seen all of your comments and am glad to say I am joining the mod project with Hannes. There is very likely to be a mod merger so we can really get this done as a community!
  11. I figure that I will likely work on getting the mod-file out ASAP & on the proper forums. My express concern on Nexus, since I am fairly new, is making sure I can get some measure of community interested in this project without irresponsible promotion. Likely soon, I will put up a link that anyone interested can look at on their own volition. If anyone has any tips & experience with linking, creating mod teams, &/or file sharing, please do feel free to help me out (PM might be a good idea). I want to make sure it gets done right on Nexus &/or elsewhere. So far, it looks like using Proboards & MEGA might work for files & forums, though I could try other options.
  12. I have viewed your link, and actually do like the voice-acting. It will be a bit interesting to see how this mod could be voice-acted, since the setting would make at least modern English seem odd. My thought is to possibly have a few characters voiced, such as main characters, & maybe use in-game subtitles of course. Probably what might work best for such parts might be something spoken in the Dragon Language ( www.thuum.org ) or Dwemeris might be interesting for voice acting. I'm still relatively newer at modding, so my plan is to get something set up (a team) via Nexus, Reddit, & maybe Dark Creations. That is when I will have a fileshare set up & may look for voice actors. Thank you for your interest. I will make note to contact you when possible.
  13. Greetings to all readers, I am new to Nexus, & personally feel like an Apprentice modder, but there is something I have put some work into that I would like to make happen. ---- ---- ---- Reason: This mod is that I was once an Admin on an Elder Scrolls Roleplay Server for Minecraft. The name of the Server was the Elder Scrolls Roleplay Server. http://www.planetminecraft.com/server/elder-scrolls-role-play-server/ Originally, I began on the server as any player would, but worked up from Moderator, to Admin, & then Co-Owner until the server was gone. While it was great fun for me, the server was also an excellent community which really explored & loved the lore of the Elder Scrolls series. When I began, it was relatively new, & being set in the Elder Scrolls universe while not being some greatly familiar landscape like Tamriel, we quickly realized that it was Atmora we could RP in. We would have many adventures, create fascinating environments, & Role Play much like anyone playing Skyrim might (even had magic of course). I wish to honor this server's passing before it's time & all the players who delved into the universe with me. I also plan to make this, as some were planning to see a mod on Skyrim, & that I have already begun (made cells, regions, some landscape, NPCs). After the server became more popular, it became more desirable to make a website & forums, which we did a few times. The latest one we still have is http://tesatmora.enjin.com . ---- ---- ---- While some of the forums need updating, there is a decent amount of lore research going into this mod, of which I will work on setting up a mod-team & preparing a way to file-share on (perhaps Drop-box or MediaFire, unless there is something better). It is likely that I may be able to share a word document & the mod-file, while in the future getting a mod-forum together. ---- ---- ---- MOD PLAN: Keeping it simple, the plan of this mod is for a late-game quest to transport the player into the past & end up in Merethic Atmora (about ME 356 might work). While there is little detail about the era, it seems around right before The Return of Ysgramor to Atmora. What happens to begin this story with several special tomes (readable books) lying in ancient ruins. These books tell of an old ritual to explore the past, utilizing the wooden Dragon Priest mask & shouting atop a mountain. When going into the past, you are snatched by a dragon & dropped in the Sea of Ghosts, only lucky enough to board an Atmoran ship headed to Jylkurfkyk. Once there, the player can explore a pre-frozen-over Atmora (it will still be chilly like Skyrim though), participate in ending their Civil War, & 'save' Atmora from dark forces (defeat a Dragon rivaling Alduin). By the end of such adventure, you may meet Ysgramor & see a few Dwemer (do not expect to see many though, in such troubling times; they will still be mysterious). By the end of the mod, perhaps the player will learn some new shouts, find their views on what happened to Atmora (there will be semi-conflicting/compounding events to explain it), & a chance to try to comprehend the Dwemer. ---- ---- ---- Overall, it is my goal to get this mod published at some point & having a way to update it overtime. It will probably start out as Alpha, once a landmass & some basic cities are built. This project is something I need help on, particularly with some scripting, custom models, meshes, textures, quest editing, & possible dialogue, but so far I have handled the map & some basics. ---- ---- ---- Please let me know some thoughts & where I could keep going from. I may try to begin file-sharing once I know a little more. Of course I do not aim to solicit or break any Nexus rules either, so do help if you like.
  14. Perhaps these Falmer are actually still blind, but use something of a "Dectect Aura" spell/power, &/or they have very finely tuned senses [of smell, touch, &/or hearing/ echolocation]? If some mod was to be made, I would imagine the Falmer bow would either need be changed or shown as glowing with life once a detect spell is cast.
