Hey I loaded ENB for the first time in a while myself two weeks ago. Try the 'performance' versions of ENB. After I loaded ENB, I didnt have as many instant crashes as you, but I certainly had more than before. The stuttering increased and the FPS fell to a new low after install. Sub-20 FRAMES... Before ENB, I used Realistic Lighting with an FXAA injector. Success with that sucked me into going to the next level. I found in the end that I had to install the high performance version of ENB - ANY ENB - to get close to my earlier performance. This means the non-SSAO; non-DOF version of Superb ENB-RL that you find in the options folder in the mod download. You can also get non-SSAO only or non-DOF only versions. Try them out. Also check carefully for stray files left over from RCRN, as you had to remove the esp file : (why it was still there I don't know). For me, the FXAA injector I had left files all over the place. Finally, start turning off and on other lighting mods: Warmer Magic Lights; Lanterns Of Skyrim (obsolete?); Dynavision; Imaginator ... those last two may not be compatible with ENB; Superb ENB-RL or Realistic Lighting . Check their readmes or websites. Also DropLitTorches may have scripted animation effects that conflict with some bloom effect or other in ENB or RL. After things improved with the 'performance' Superb ENB-RLversion, I moved onto other 'performance' ENB configs on Nexus until I found the perfect (for me) mix of FPS, color palette, lighting and shadowing. I kept Realistic Lighting, but Im using the straight RL default download from Nexus, not the Superb ENB-RLversion or the one I had before... In all, a week of after-work experimentation and tweaking. Hope you have it easier....
