Ok i gave up playing Skyrim SE. All Protons makes me CTD after i press Play in the launcher - except that old Skyrim SE Proton, which doesn't play music and voices...

CTD... Only Proton for Skyrim SE works, but if i do that i don't have music and voices. I tried the latest GE Proton ( 9-2 ), the launcher runs, but when i press Play the game crashes to desktop. Same goes to other Protons...

Ooh, i didn't try Proton GE yet, only Skyrim Proton, and what Steam offered ( all Protons ). Also someone told me about Proton Plus... i am new

I have Skyrim SE now, but sadly i can't manage to make the music and the voices work... i tried almost everything what people suggested, no success..... the skyrim-se-audio-fix, installing FAudio, xact, changing to Alsa instead Pulseaudio, nothing.... i guess i will just stay at the original Skyrim for now...

Issue solved, Skyrim runs now! Just had to change to Proton 5.13-6...

Hey Zixi! This is SE, and one of my friends has no problem with running it on Mint via Steam and Proton. For me only works for first playing... The game starts, but at the second start nothing happens....

Hey hey! I play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 with Horn of the Abyss, also Gothic 2 Gold ofc., i run H3 with Lutris, Gothic with steam and Proton. I wanted to play Skyrim again, and interest with my mods but i can't make Skyrim work on my Linux Mint... Any help is appreciated!
