pure laziness ;-)) It was so nice in DAO and DA2 that you could change party set up right before you started a quest without needing to go back to camp or whatever .

I realize that it is the same in my game. After patch 6 and including mods, not any partybanter. I have run with all characters in different party set up. Been to Hinterlands, Storm Coast, Fallow Mire, Oasis and Crestwood and only individual talk about quest or area. And I don´t know where to post this, so i follow this tread. Help wanted ;-)

Praise to you fantastic modders :-) I would like to see a mod, where you can change the party anywhere? If its not impossible, I hope and cross my fingers that someone have the time to do it. One of the most fantastic mods in DAO and DA2, and I miss it!!!

Look into the posts about black screen and white screen problems. They tell you have to run with mods after patch 6

Sorry but that appear to be the only way at he moment if you want to play with mods.

Modding guys... can´t you tell where you alter the game? It´s a hassard always to test mods the old way. You know mod, merge, patch and so on, crossing fingers that it works and sadly finding out it does not. And starting a new every time you want a new fantastic mod :-)

I had the same problem. For me it was the HD eyes mod that made the trouble. Made the game run with Vanilla patch6 from the snow part to skyhold. After reaching Skyhold i put the modded patch in the game again, and it worked fine with mods.

try the way i explain to do mods in the tread about black screen. I have my games on origin and it works fine, but you have to roll back to patch 5

And the black screen was because of conflicting mods. I had more wartable materials and increased inventory. Got rid of more wartable and problem solved. As regarding to modding with patch 6: Go into DAI directory. Delete all "loose" files, EXCEPT FOR the following folders and file: __Install Core Data Support DragonAgeInquistion.exe - Empty the Update Folder. - Open up Origin and choose the Repair option for DAI. Origin will rebuild DAI directories. - Load up your game with patch 6. - Exit the game and rename the Patch Directory in Update to PatchVI - Place a clean copy of patch 5 in the Update directory. Rename to Patch - Mod patch 5 - Use Renmiri's Patch 5 method. - Load up game Renmin´s patch metode: 1) Delete 'Patch.daimod' from the modmanager v0.48a folder. (Skip if it's your first time modding) - IMPORTANT STEP - DO NOT MISS THIS 2) Use ModManager version 0.48 to merge your mods again. Save the modded merge to a folder named “Merged” or whatever else you liked 3) Rename the “Patch” folder in your game directory to “PatchV" 4) Rename your “Merged” folder you made on step 3 to “Patch” 5) Start the game 6) You will need “PatchV” if you want to merge more mods 7) to merge new mods: Delete the folder named “Patch” and make a copy of “PatchV” named “Patch”. Run steps 2-5 again. Hope this helps

I´m a total noob regarding mods and modding. I think i have some conflicting mods installed. Is there a way to find the conflicting mods? or do i need to go the evil way and test every mod seperately? Pardon my english -not native! NB: Did it the slow way, and my game works fine. Is there a way to see what the different mod alters in the game file?

My game won´t load after installing mods to the game. It starts and the green diamond thing in the right bottom corner blinks, but nothing happens. And I have to force the game to close via taskmanager. If i delete/disable the mods my game works fine. What am i doing wrong? Nobody else seems to have this problem, or I can´t find them. And I know i can play without... but it would be nice to try the game with mods ;-) So i have no idea how to close this post. Problem solved from another place!

I had Alistars dialog patch together with MRP. Looked at the readme and they conflict. So removed Alistars patch - Had to force reload, and everything thing is working.
