I have seen some members say that they think Lycanthropy will be in Skyrim, some say that it won't. And afterall the fact is we haven't seen any Lycanthropy in the details so far. But since Todd Howard says that they are working to put as much stuff in it as possible, that sort of makes me think that the odds for Lycanthropy is quite good afterall. Vampirism too actually. Hopefully they've seen how much people tend to enjoy having those two options and the potential if they put some effort into deepening the impact on the gameplay it may have if you become either one. But I was wondering, among you board scholars, do you find it likely or unlikely that we will find these things in Skyrim?

Well, my character, hmm. Lemme think. A powerfull demon lord from another dimension called Legion Zorn. Through the black arts he decided to take over Skyrim, but to do so had to be born into a mortal body. So now he goes from town to townEdit by staff: Please do not troll these forums. Maybe it's a meditating kind of thing, have to put you into the right mind to use inner energies.

As you know the dragonshout in the trailer goes fus-ro-dah! Now I wonder, does the word dah on its own hold any power? Like what if I was speaking to a really stupid merchant and in my frustration I yell "DAAAH!" and I throw him 100 feet away and I think to myself "Oopsie." And the next thing I know I got some metal man breathing down my neck, barking "STOP! You violated the law!" Also even if the DAH doesn't hold much power, you can say just the first word by accident also. Like imagine you're in a wealthy englishman's mansion and he's upstairs and he asks if you want a sandwich before you go out to play golf. And you yell up to him "I don't want to cause a FUS!" and you send all of his furniture flying. Awkwaaaaard.

I was always partial to the Who dunit? quest in Oblivion, which I still regard as the best quest I've ever seen in a game. I wish they'd make a sequel that appears in Skyrim, much more thought out, much more possibilities, and more people to kill, like you're one out of 10 people instead of one out of 6. And lots of more ways to lure people, play with them, add to the mystery, what not.

Saw this Dovahkin teaser trailer that someone of my fellow swedes had knocked up a notch by making a misheard lyrics version. So when the dragonborn does his dragonshout it says "OSTKAKA!" - Cheesecake. Anyways that reminded me of some of my personal worst misheard lyrics, you know purely accidental when you can't quite make out what the hell it is that they're singing. Let's all share our craziest misheard lyrics, just for fun, boh-yah. Mine would have to be Down with the sickness, in which I still think it sounds like they sing: Round my deep in my see you're lonely, broken a your servent ah, eeeh. - Will you give it to me? It seems that's a matter of my you mo side is only changing, in me. - Will you give it to me? The thing admire over mit fletchop, when suddenly changes, I aye needing changes. Aoh there is no turning back now, you've woken up the demon, in me. ... ... Bend this is the gift that has been given to me. ... ... It seems that all that was good has died and mystic ey-eeeeh in me. Will you give it to me. It seems your head-outfit some trouble, in dealing with these changes. And then go with this changes. ... ... Come on get down with the sickness, bend his head now, the love of me. My understanding of this freaking song never seems to get much better. Great song however, even if I can't quite make it all out.

Was the part 1 video that was posted in this thread all that was shown today? I want to see more Nirnroot, and I want to see how you can pick it, how you cook it, how you use it as ingredient, how you water it, how you put it in a pot, how you sell it, how you get high off of it, how you tickle an angry orc's nose with it, how you offer it as a gift to dragons in exchange for friendship, how you juggle three Nirnroots in the air and gain fame points, how you craft a glass house full of Nirnroots, how you genetically manipulate it, how you mutate it so it grows 300 x normal Nirnroot size, how you go into a teleporter with a Nirnroot and become part Nirnroot, how you pet the Nirnroot, how you talk to Nirnroot through dynamic interaction. I want to experience it all with my Nirnroot!

I'm hoping you'll be able to climb, sort of like how you climb ladders but up against the solid rock. That'd be sweet.

The link from the main thread on here to G4TV only shows a schedule, not the stream. Where is the stream? Did G4TV hide it up its ass where noone would think to look for it? Where is it?

The lack of computer resources is hardly an argument against making realistic blood. It could easily be trimmed enough to still look great and not take a lot of juice.

Remember the teaser video where the Dovahkin chops at a dragon and some blood rains down, staining him? I keep wondering if they added that for effect or if it will be features in the game. If it's featured in the game, it's probably just random splashing sprites of blood onto the player. What I long to see in a game is drops of blood flying through the air and make a blood stain on whatever they hit. That should be really quite simple to make! Slash at an enemy, drops of blood, and wherever each drop hits the ground it creates a small blood sprite. Is that too much to ask? If you work hard at it and make it advanced and more like fluid you could accomplish some really badass blood effects. I love blood.
