How in the world is "asian" racist? it refers to a person that lives in Asia (the continent). I'ts like saying "european" or "american" are racist words. -
Does anyone else find Skyrim challenging?

We all know Nazeem and sooner or later (especialy after finishing MQ) you will try to..."de-snobify" him. I reversed pickpocketed him a Frenzy potion in the middle of Whiterun's market and watched the show. :ninja:

The thing is i would rather be called a bastard by a 14 year old than to have him stab me in the neck.

Let's face it, Bethesda moved along with the time. We are so few true playing RPG types out there that no gaming industry risks developing a game for us with the cost of bankruptcy (take Troika for example). We are dinosaurs and we tend to go back to the games we loved and "made sense" for us comparing new ones with them, sadly those games are long-over gone and gaming bussines moves forward regarding of our opinion. New games are "dumbed down" because the world dumbes down with each passing year and game developers no longer have the posibility of missing a huge sale without serious consequences. So...I guess that's it.
-
They ignored the posibility of game development on PC's. If made for PC, Skyrim could have been a wonderful game, instead making it for both console and PC screwd the game big time. I admit that making 2 versions of the game, one for console like this one and one improved for PC (even if it were more expensive) would not be fair for console users, but it would have brought Bethesda a considerably higher income. Instead they prefered to turn a briliant long run RPG serie into an almost mindless hack and slash. So the question is will Bethesda be trusted with TES 6 by the RPG playing PC users?...they screwd us once... I will like to thank The Modding Comunity within this message as they do their best to "emancipate" the game. ;) . Cheers guys ! Sorry i've gone off course: STEAM is just...fashionable, otherwise ussles, the quality of the game was ruined by Bethesda for trying to cover both PC and consoles.

I was chasing a bunny for my main occupation in Skyrim (bunny slaughtering)...i was so focused on chasing that bunny that i ran right in the middle of Karthspire Camp (heavy populated Forsworn camp) with my lvl 65 thief/merchant Kajiit. I think 3 of them died probably killing eachother in a fight based on wich one should kill me.

set timescale to 1 - makes timeflow real time (so 1 hour ingame = 1 hour real time).Default timescale is 35. You need to type this at the start of each session as it resets itself uppon exiting the game.

also the rapier and main gauche are brilliant. thanx.

What can I do to cripple the Black-Briar family?
robanybody2000 replied to Omeletter's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
If you are laying on PC, open console then type: setessential 1336A 0 - to make Maven Black-Briar non essential (killable) setessential 13362 0 - to make Hemming Black-Briar non essential (killable) After that save the game in brand new slot an have fun ;). It is adviseble to have completed the main quest or end the rebelion befor you kill them. -
Olaf's presence in Sovngrade is a fact itself. If he was the vicious coward he wouldn't be there calling the bards wich burn him every week "honorable". I'm not saying the bards are The Villain, but they are prety much usless and don't have anything better to do. In fact if they didn't acuse Olaf of whatever they were acusing hif, you will have no quest in they'r college, because that's the only thing they do.

Possible Sword — A relic of the probability-mining Ghosthead Empire, now owned by Uther Doul. When activated, it will exist simultaneously where it is and where it could be, allowing it to inflict hundreds of wounds simultaneously.

Here is a list of the most important swords in "A Song of Ice and Fire" -if anyone wishes to make a larger weapons mode based on the books, will post explicit description if necesary- Blackfyre — ancestral Valyrian steel sword of House Targaryen, given to his bastard Daemon Blackfyre by Aegon IV. Lost in the Blackfyre Rebellion. Brightroar — Valyrian steel sword of House Lannister, lost along with King Tommen II before the time of the series. Dark Sister — a Valyrian steel sword of House Targaryen, wielded by the likes of Aemon the Dragonknight and Ser Brynden Rivers, whereabouts unknown. Dawn — the ancestral sword of House Dayne with a blade forged from a fallen star. Returned to Starfall by Ned Stark; current bearer unknown. Heartsbane — the ancestral Valyrian steel greatsword of House Tarly. Borne by Randyll Tarly of Horn Hill. Ice — the ancestral Valyrian steel greatsword of House Stark, now melted down and re-forged. Borne by Ned Stark until his execution by Ser Ilyn Payne, who used Ice to do it. Lady Forlorn — ancestral sword of House Corbray, currently borne by Ser Lyn Corbray of the Vale. Lightbringer - a legendary weapon created by Azor Ahai, legendary savior/hero of the faith of R'hllor. While Stannis Baratheon claims to bear it, and indeed possesses a sword which glows with the color of fire but gives off no heat, characters have doubted whether his weapon is genuine, and whether King Stannis is truly the Prince that was Promised. Lion's Tooth — a child-sized longsword borne by Prince Joffrey of House Baratheon. Taken from him by Arya Stark and thrown into a river. Longclaw — the ancestral Valyrian steel bastard sword of House Mormont, given now to Jon Snow. Needle — a side-sword given to Arya Stark by her half-brother Jon Snow when he left Winterfell to serve on the Wall; Arya has retained it as her last tie to House Stark, despite (willfully) discarding all other indications of her identity. Arya has been trained in its use by a water dancer of Braavos, though Jon Snow's original lesson remains most pertinent: "Stick them with the pointy end." Nightfall — a Valyrian Sword owned by Ser Harras Harlaw. Oathkeeper — a Valyrian steel longsword that was also forged from the remains of Ice. It was given to Jaime Lannister by his father, who then gave it to Brienne of Tarth. Red Rain — Probably the ancestral sword of House Rayne, now property of House Drumm. Widow's Wail — a Valyrian steel longsword forged from the remains of Ice and presented to King Joffrey by his grandfather during his wedding feast. Current whereabouts unspecified, though probably re-gifted to Joffrey's heir and younger brother King Tommen. EDIT: that sword looks exactly how i imagined Blackfyre (Targaryen hause has a dragon with 3 heads on their flag). In the series Longclaw had a bear's head at the end of it.

Essencialy a very thin sword and also very sharp, potentialy dangerous for the user but very easy to hide (beeing so thin you can carefuly weare it on you waist). Also some propper assassin daggers and swords. (Not the glowy ones...i can imagine an assassin perfectly hidden in a shadowy corner with 2 daggers glowing green...not very healty in the killing bussines).

except Skyrim, all other TES are not only in fourth era but also in fifth century of it.(year 401 to 433)- so betwen Arena and Oblivion...32 years.

Just finished "A dance wiht Dragons". I have to say it is one of the best fantasy series i've ever read. I would recomend "A Song of Ice and Fire" without hessitation to anyone. It would be great if you coud purchase all the novels from the serie so far: "A Game of Thrones", "A Clash of Kings", "A Storm of Swords", "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance with Dragons"(A lot to read and i promise you lots of short nights). I guarantee you they are much better than the TV series. (Before someone says "You can't compare books with TV series, find out that the TV serie it's based on the book and not otherway arround, meaning the book has A LOT more details on characters, enviroments and situations.)

I have to agree with DeanCarter, few dungeons are more than linear exploring with a convenient shortcut directly out of it, as for the puzzles...exept for that sprint thing it's petty much "find the lever" or turn 3 stone circles. In terms of number of quests i think it's a fair ammount of them (my journal has about 10-15 unfinished quests all the time), the daedric quest are ok but the reward is not worthwile unles you have a "more powerful daedric artifacts" mod. Type of dungeons in Oblivion: Ayeld ruins, caves, forts Type of dungeons in Skyrim: Dwemer ruins, nord burial grounds, forts...prety much the same. The plus is you have Dragons althou you need the "more powerfull dragons" mod to make it interesting. Regarding leveling...well Skyrim has a much less than decent character development, besides "perks" wich are more or less usefull, it has nothing else, leading to a "Jack of all trades" character in the end. A minus in this is also the fact that no matter what type of character your playing you can join and complete every faction's questline. IMO after one year of moding and posibly some add-ons you coul compare Skyrim with Oblivion. Now it's just to early. EDIT: I have to agree with Roxana. Daggerfall and Morrowind are more interesting than Oblivion or Skyrim in terms of questing, plots and character creation. It started with 35 skills governed by 8 attributes governed by race and gender resulting in 18 distinctive classes in Daggerfall, 27 skills governed by 8 attributes with 4 derrived attribute governed by race and gender resulting in 21 distinctive classes in Morrowind to 18 skills with insignificant conectivity with 3 attributes with absolutley no conection to gender or race in Skyrim.I'm saying this because i don't find it fair for a Khajiit wearing cloth to not be able to run faster or longer or jump higher than a chubby nord wearing an iron stove.

Similar to how electricity and magnetism are really one thing called electromagnetism Electromagnetism is an effect of electricity, meaning that electricity traveling through a conductor generates a magnetic field. To generate electromagnetism you only need a wire/coil/metal and electric current. Will elaborate further if necesary. :P

The fact that Bethesda made Skyrim for both PCs and consoles ruined a wonderful RPG with a lot of tradition, so it's not fair for PC users beacause they had expected a TES game that promised a lot, and not fair for console users because they won't have any mods.So they pretty much screwd everyone over.
