Hey, I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out why I cannot die, and then I remembered something out of nowhere, I had challenged a member of the companions to a duel (might have been a mod thing) but when i went out into the yard she never showed up so i just went on my merry way. So I went back to Jorvaskrr and talked to her (she told me i hit a civilian so she wins, dunno why) and boom, my mortality returns.
