  1. Hi morbito, Mop's can crash because of very different reasons, such as: - just renaming .mrh files (mrh/mor to .mop) won't work and will most likely crash the game - multiple entries of the same file in the chargenmorphcfg.xml aren't always the reason for a crash, but it happened to me on some occasions - or maybe you did the same mistake that I did? Make sure you set the export-to-mop feature (in the Toolset) to True, then export. The file you're looking for should be in a folder named 'Toolset Export', just search for it (it may not be in the override folder you put your ressources into) Sorry, but I can't tell you the exact path I found my working preset, I don't have Dragon Age installed right now. Hope that helped. - Taragor
  2. Hi all, I got a very strange problem with my horse. First off, I'm using Convenient Horses, so one tap of the activate button means riding the horse, two taps on my horse opens up the inventory and three taps trigger following/waiting. But when I try to activate (ride) the horse, nothing happens, regardless how often I press the activate button. Same issure for double and triple tap. This only occurs on my own horse, the other horses (e.g. stable horses, Frost etc) behave normally. Now I tried disabling my horse via console and spawning a new one (player.placeatme XXXXXX 1), and I'm actually able to get on this new spawned horse. But then I can't get off anymore, same as before: the activate button just won't react. I tried disabling Convenient Horses, but that didn't solve my problem. As already said, I can ride/activate all other horses, only my own horse behaves like this. Has anyone had the same problem? EDIT: Some additional information, the horse I'm talking about is the one from Whiterun stables. Earlier saves have the same bug.
  3. Hi, I'm sorry, I should have replied earlier - I completely forgot this one here ^^ Well, I already found out what caused the crash. I always tend to use names multiple times, that's why I was so confused. I named my preset EF_CPS_own01.mop, which I already used for a preset I created long ago. However, I copied a backup of that early preset to a path very similar to the one of the Toolset Export folder, and didn't delete it afterwards. So I always took the preset of my backup folder, and this old preset used resources I don't have in my Override folder anymore... So the actual preset didn't cause any problems at all, I just never noticed I chose the wrong Toolset Export folder (stupid me!) :) But nevertheless, thank you very much for your reply ;) - Taragor
  4. Hi all, I got a little weird problem here. I recently created a new face morph (with custom textures) and saved it first as an .mrh file, then as an .mop file on my desktop and copied the files from there to the override folder. I registered it in the chargenmorphcfg.xml, so I can use my morph as a preset for the character creation. But the morph doesn't appear, I also tried it with a self-made morph completely whithout custom content, that one didn't appear either. After that I gave up and just downloaded presets on the Nexus (I think it was Pretty Faces), and tried the same with these ones (there was a chargenmorphcfg.xml in the mod, so I didn't write the entries myself), the ones not created by me are actually shown! The only problem - they cause Dragon Age to crash every time I try to select a custom preset. I heard the relevant textures for the morph have to be directly located in the override folder, so I put a copy of them directly in there (out of the subfolders which normally shouldn't be a problem), but it didn't make a difference. I did make an entry of the morph(s) I want to get for the character creation in the chargenmorphcfg.xml, but I didn't make an entry of the textures I used in the morph, I just put them in the override folder. Can that be the problem? Here is a list of all mods from which I used textures for my presets (if it helps you to find the problem): CC Extra Tints and Tones Bidelles Cosmetics SP Scars Ask and your Request Tattoos I hope you know a solution to this problem, thanks in advance. - Taragor
  5. I think the new design is quite well done, it's well-arranged and I'm getting used to it very fast. Nice work! :)
  6. A new problem appeared. Now I can't get the Toolset to work because of the database issue. It's quite a known issue, and I had this problem before, but I can't solve the database problem without an active SQL Database Service. Well, and this service refuses to start because I need administrator privileges for that (I actually have admin privileges, but the service doesn't recognize that). Does anyone know how to handle that?
  7. Yes, I also love this community... everyone is willing to help, even if the problem is a difficult one. Well, the eye texture I used is from Bidelles Cosmetics, I didn't change anything. I also used LOTCs Female Eyelashes, CC Extra Tints and Tones and Aion-Themed Tattoos. But the source of the problem doesn't seem to be the resources - as I said, I created a blank morph with base and it crashed. Maybe I got a problem with my Dragon Age Installation - things were a bit difficult in that installation, e.g. I had more problems as usual with the Toolset Database, I installed the same mod twice in different folders and so on. I got more time now, so I'll reinstall my Dragon Age, create a new (blank and afterwards with resources) morph, and see if it works then. I won't install any mods, and if my morphs actually work then, I'll activate every single mod one by one.
  8. Sorry, I'm not able to send you a screenshot at the moment. But yes, I've checked all names and so on, looks like they are ok. I deleted my Dragon Age for reinstalling it later, but right now I'm quite busy, sorry. When I have time I'll try it again, and I'll report if something changes after the reinstallation.
  9. The export settings of the morphs are all true. Yes, I've already checked them in downloadable content. Is there any restriction for the names of the morphs? I always name them EF_Name.mop (EF stands for Elf Female)
  10. @DarkeWolf: Thank you very much for helping me. I really appreciate that, I wish I could give you more kudos than I've already given to you :) @LSiwora: Thanks, I actually had an active Eye Color slider while using a texture at the same time. Well, I think I figured out why my morph causes the crash. I first made a test morph that contains all resources I needed, but fixed the problem with the active Eye Color slider (thanks again, LSiwora). It didn't work. So I made a second test morph that only contains the eye texture, and it still crashes. Now I made a third one, containing no resources or changes, a blank morph file, identical to the base. But that one also crashes, so I assume that the problem is my Toolset. I'm reinstalling it right now, maybe it works afterwards. Taragor UPDATE: Ok, reinstalled my Toolset now and created a new morph with it, it still won't work. The problem doesn't seem to be one of the resources I use, everything I create on my own via the Toolset causes crashes.
  11. I could also try to take a vanilla morph in the CC, register the necessary resources and create the face via CC. The problem is, the eye texture I just registered is recognized, but black, looks like the chargenmorphcfg doesn't seem to accept dds files for eyes. But there has to be another way... as I said, I used face morph with unregistered features before and it was ok unless I changed the unregistered features (because I can't change it back again). Ah, and thanks for removing the double-post :)
  12. Hey :) You're right, I just made a typo with that txt. So it's because I didn't register the used resources in the chargenmorphcfg? That's strange, I created morphs with unregistered resources before, but it worked fine. Well, I'll just try it and report if that's a solution. Taragor EDIT: Maybe it's because of the eye texture. But how do I register a texture for eyes? The chargenmorphcfg only contains tnt files for eyes. EDIT 2: Sorry for the double-post.
  13. Hi everyone, I got a little problem here with one of my new morphs. I created a new .mop file and enregistered it in the chargenmorphcfg.txt, but every time I try to display the morph in Character Creator, the game crashes. I used quite a lot of resources for that morph, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I created morphs using resources before, and everything worked fine. Hope someone's able to help. Thanks in advance. Taragor
  14. Well, the tattoo section of my chargenmorphcfg doesn't seem to work for me. Whatever I put in there - it's just not showing up on Dalish Elves, neither on the other races. I also wonder if that section is really for the tattoos, because there are much more tattoos for elves in the game than in the chargenmorphcfg. I'm not really sure about that, but I think the problem is the morph itself. Maybe it's just the morph which has to be renaimed to fit the Dalish Elves. But I can't find different names in the head section, only ef_cps_... Maybe I can just replace a stock tattoo with my one (that actually works). The problem with that solution is that I have to change all NPCs wearing that tattoo if I want this tattoo to be unique. By the way, is there an option for the Toolset to show only NPCs with the same tattoo?
  15. Hi and thanks for Kudos! :D Well, my own .mop is not the only one wich does that. If I install a random .mop file wich contains a new tattoo, it will be shown correctly on City Elves, but not on Dalish Elves. The morph actually does exist and you can also choose it as a Dalish, but the new tattoo included in the new morph is replaced with a vanilla Dalish tattoo. I found out that I'm having this issue only with tattoos - new skin tones, hair colors etc. work perfectly on Dalish Elves. A) I checked my chargenmorphcfg, it doesn't contain any faults... B) I don't know, I added a new tattoo. It should work, because it doesn't replace one of the old ones or something, but I'm not sure if the Dalish tattoos have some kind of extra folder. I didn't find any Dalish tattoo in the chargenmorphcfg.
