ok this is gonna sound really weird but bear with me when i go to enchant an item, more specifically a piece of armor, a lot of the enchantments i normally would be able to use on that piece of armor are greyed out like for instance... you'd normally be able to chant muffle on a pair of boots, well in my game i can't D: it wasn't always like this... but it suddenly started ages ago and it's happening to all my saves, freshly started and old alike so i'm gonna try a few things. see if i can't remedy the issue btw i've got 200 mods activated on my skryim XD but only ONE or TWO have anything to do with enchating i know for certain one allows 10 different chants on a single item but that shouldn't be an issue i wouldn't think i might have 1 more but i can't think of what it could be off hand this is been ongoing for awhile now and never bothered me much till now as i'm kinda fed up with it D: so if anyone else experienced this issue and solved it or has any ideas as to what the issue could be lemme know please :D thanks in advance

hmm i wonder... i had a similar issue with skyrim awhile back where i couldn't interact with "Crafting" (cooking, forging, etc) starting a new game solved it and it hasn't happened since so i'll try a new game just to test my theory unless someone has a better idea? i'll keep you guys posted EDIT: Nope, didn't do a thing -_- anyone got any ideas?

woooooooow wtf!!!! the solution i found was SUPPOSED to be permanent bUseThreadedAI=1iNumHWThreads=2that's what i'm supposed to edit the fallout ini file tooand it worked for a day....then just now... it started freezing again -_-and it's not my monitor cause i tried my HD and my regularthey both had the freeze issueso, unless anyone has a good suggestion, i guess i'm destined to NOT play fallout games -_-f*** man.... EDIT:reverted to an older save and it seems ok for now...

also before i go what's the best autosave mod out? i saw one for every 10min but i don't thnk it's configurable T_T suggestions? EDIT: Nvm found one :P

yup my game is either perma broke or something jsut uninstalled then reinstalled used a UNMODED save file from the nexus and it still freezes could it be cause i have a 6 core cpu? like the person above suggested, do i need to edit the ini file to limit it to 2 cores? please tell me that's all i need to do T_T i'm on the verge of tearing my hair out >.<

ok either FOMM hates me or i'm doing something wrong -_- cause when i try to install just a texture mod FOMM crashes with the "somethng bad seems to have happened" message so i'm pretty much at my wits end idk what i need to do to install the mods and have no freezes cause i refuse to play vanilla. if i didn't want mods i'd have gotten it for ps3/360 *sigh*

welp i tried using the fo3 only fomm and it barely works 85% of the time it jsut crashes so i'm at a loss it says something bad must of happened, etc etc idk why it's doing that so i guess i'll the the FNV/FO3 combo one T_T

lol no. they're all internal slaves the 149gb is my main and i have 2 1tb internal slave drives the FO3 is installed to a 1tb whether it's the sea gate or WD i couldn't tell you cause i don't know BUT the game seems to be running ok now that i re validated my game and got that missing file or whatever started a new game and so far i'm at the b-day party no freezes so far also when i tried to acitvate Archive Invalidation though NMM it doesn't really like it and causes it to crash NMM that is but when i use the third party AI the mods that need it work fine but if i try to use it through NMM the mods that need it will whine about it not being enabled even after i do indeed enable it so i'm gonna try to add a few mods and see how that goes. but alas that shall have to wait till the morning it's after 12am here and i need my sleep lol

... wtf i uninstalled ALL my mods. not unticked mind you TOTALLY removed and i jsut left the Main +DLC STILL freezes i'm getting really annoyed cause everything i try doesn't work -_- it's the steam version btw and it's installed to a slave drive if that makes any difference whatsoever the game i mean cause my main drive is very small (149gb) and my 2 slaves are 1tb each so i install my games to the slaves to save room on my main and i jsut install small stuff on the main i've d/led and reinstalled like 3x today alone and i'm getting nowhere D:< so i don't know WHAT the problem is if the game freezes with JUST Vanilla content UPDATE: turns 1 of my game files wasn't validated on steam lets see if that fixes anything now that that's been remedied

I've tried everything i can think of that would pertain to performance -_- it just freezes *sigh* it's gotta be a mod. i can't think of anything else tried high settings tried ultra with no flltering and no AA and this is all on 1024x768 game res with monitor refresh @ 75 cant' go any higher than 75 so i'm stuck any suggestions? My Display, of all things?!!! i NEVER would have thought of that T_T i'll give it a shot thankfully i have a couple spare monitors that are hella old and aren't even close to being HD lol so ok, i'll try 1280x1024 and 60hz and i have to task manager to close it cause alt tab doesn't work so yeah freezes to a point i can't do a damn thing lol i'll keep you posted on the results btw, i didn't think it'd matter since new vegas ran jsut fine on HD (minus all the mod conflicts and CTD's and freezes >.<) but then again... new vegas is much newer.... oh well lol
