Well, it won't be popular, but you could always redirect the user into a 10 second add before downloading. I've seen other sites use that method... Honestly, at $2, there's no excuse why any person on this site should not be a "supporter". If you've ever downloaded more than one mod, pay your $2! Remember the paperboy: "I want my 2 dollars! 2 dollars!"

Unfortunately, this contest seems to apply mainly to graphic artists. Many really great modders are only coders/programmers, who make valuable gameplay additions. Contest seems to really ignore them. I'll be interested to see how many submissions CDPR get. My guess, <1000

The gender results were not a total surprise. I think females tend to be casual gamers, but casuals lean toward console, while serious gamers tend to lean toward PC. So i don't think this poll is representive of the actual female gaming community, just the nexus community.

Did you read the beth blog? They sorta say the same thing, that paid mods may be offered by other dev's in the future. I have no illwill to those who want to put up paid mods though. Just not something i could afford, not at a dollar for every mod x 300 mods... not to mention the other 200 mods i've tried and passed on. http://www.bethblog.com/2015/04/27/why-were-trying-paid-skyrim-mods-on-steam/ What shocked me the most is how in this blog Beth talks about how in one weekend, the money a modder made was so much, and i was like "Seriously?" And how potentially, a modder could make more than the people working in the studio on the game!
