User Profile and Direct Messaging Improvements Beta
SirDaemon replied to JustThatKing's topic in Site Updates
Glad to see you are listening to feedback. Its looking really great - the last main gripe I have is not being able to tell if I downloaded a mod from the author. Can you had an overlay to indicate mods that you have downloaded -
User Profile and Direct Messaging Improvements Beta

I really don't like the UI changes its going to make finding a users mod from their profile far harder. The left column takes up way to much screen retail and the mods tab does not display nearly enough a row of 3, some users have 100's of mods and looking at a users profile to download mods is one of the best ways to get them. I would recommend reducing the amount of space the left column has or move it to the top of the page - it really does not need to be on the left. Then you can have a couple of more columns for mod lists. Another option would be to have the ability to condense the featured mods into a list or smaller items containing image, and title. Also a there's a visual issue the left column only scrolls down when you get to the bottom of the mods tab - this is unresponsive and therefore an accessibility issue -
In response to post #73901598. Second that. Though I will agree about the improvements in the notifications about getting info on comments has been a major improvement I do prefer the old layout. No offence but it is easy and clearer to navigate than the new interface - at least in my opinion. :)

I really prefered it how it was. The key things I do not like is moving the updates with notifications - though I can see why you have done that. What really does not work for me is that the tabs do not retain any memory. I personally like to keep one on Skyrim and one on fallout showing new updated files with certain filters. Now I have to redo this selection every time I go in. Also, the update still does not seem to do what is necessary and really help with finding really good mods that are hidden amongst the masses. Personally I would like to see a way of searching for Keywords (in the description and the file titles) and not necessarily from the main title. I will say though it does look more snazzy. :)
