I really wish they'd let us have a beta of the previous game version when they do these updates like you can with some games on Steam. I got home excited to hop on for the first time in a long while.. and I see 'Fallout 4 updated today' and I sulked in my seat. Motherf*#@er. I spent the last day and half patching these thing to work proper, even moved it to an SSD. Lots a hair pulling and bug fixing as well as reading only to be tapped in the proverbial sack by Todd himself the second I hit the F4SE button mindlessly like I had been for the past 2 days in full confidence they'd stopped updating this damn game... Foolish of me to think that given how many damn versions of Skyrim exist. Its a meme now, I swear. I'd frankly love a mod that kills the creation club. Now I'm weighing the frustration of trying to figure out the mess with the old Depots and redownloading the entire game again... or waiting god knows how long for the F4SE update only to then have to wait for various mod authors and bug fixes to be updated or rolled out. In my mind, Its like I might as well do the classic "drop this game for a month, come back when everything is fixed" but now I have the itch to play it.. and now its broke... TODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

Does anyone know if a mod like this exists already? I couldn't seem to find it on my first sweep. If not, Anyone else feel like the resources from pieces of junk seems wrong? I know a toaster has more than 2 screws and 2 springs in it, it can give me 1 metal, 2 aluminum, maybe 3 plastic, 4 spring, 3 copper, 2 gear, and maybe 1 board? Basically a mod that looks at an item and reworks its 'junk payout' to make more logical sense. I feel like this would make certain pieces of junk far more valuable as well. I just find it annoying that when crafting in this game, looking at these junk items at times, I feel Jibbed' by what I get in return for breaking them down even with perks.

Alright, something that has bugged me is literally how quiet the dirt sfx is when driving off road, even with max volume and headphones, rocks and dirt pinging off the underside of any car is loud as s#*!. And I want that in this game. Why? Reasons. Could someone put together a mod that increases the volume of the off roading/dirt sfx effect. Perhaps have a few that are raised by X%. Say 50%, 65% 74% etc. have a few different ones so people can decide what volume they want their at.

Its been a hot minute since I've modded and I've slowly grown some appreciation for vortex.. but I still miss the old MM. Well I did something wrong and I'm not sure what after two days of f*#@ing about. Vortex says there is no conflicts. But I went from having a nude body and body slide armor. Suddenly now textures are missing on outfits and CBBE doesn't seem to even be active in game despite having it enabled. All that is showing is the default underwear mesh. Even my schlongs of skyrim is no longer active. Something is overwriting CBBE and I don't know what it is. I've rebuilt the meshes in the outfit studio but nothing seems to change in game. I even reinstalled CBBE multiple times. Attached below is the mess of mods relating to the body. Let me know if you see an issue.

Alas even with that I mod I get "conflict with emulation software detected" Ugh. f*#@in securom. I even checked with their diagnostic tool. The only thing using securom is the Fallout 3 Launcher. But not the Fallout.Exe itself? But even trying to launch from just the exe trips the launcher. *slams head into desk*

Okay so my DvD drive wouldn't read my fallout 3 disk. But my mac would so I figured to rip the iso off of that. Bring it to my pc. Installed the game. But now I keep getting this "conflict with emulation software" which takes me to a securorom website. I installed the script extender to try and launch the game without needing the disk like I had in the past. When Nexus Mod Manager was thing thing and not vortex. But now I've hit a wall. Anyone know of any mods of workarounds because I'd like to be able to play this game but since my dvd drive for my PC won't read the disk, It isn't damaged. I think its just the USB dvd drive isn't the greatest and struggles to read. Oh well it was 6 bucks and I was able to install other games using it but Fallout 3 is apparently a no go.

Update. I ended up saying screw it and using google drive to transfer my s#*! 4 feet because normally the format for Mac to PC is readable but not today apparently for I greeted with "Please insert USB drive into Drive i" which was accompanied by me screaming "f*#@ IT GOOGLE DRIVE IT IS YOU ASSHAT"

So I have an original PC DVD for Fallout 3. Figured I'll reinstall it for old times sake. Got a new Rig and might as well install it since I have the Disk. DVD won't read it worth a damn. Doesn't really have much wear on it. Maybe it needs resurfacing. Call and figure out a place to resurface the CD tomorrow. Figure I'll see if my Mac will read it. Mac Reads it Squints eyes at Mac "Windows Live DRM maybe? Wtf?" Rips ISO from Disk Inserts USB to transport ISO Roundabout by Yes baseline starts up Volume too large Facepalm "ffs..." Reformats USB to Mac Finally can Move ISO to USB This process would have been SOOO much faster if my damn DVD drive would just read the damn disk. Hopefully nothing else breaks... Crosses fingers

I'm gonna try a TOTAL reinstall. No saves. Install the required mods. Then the mod. With the hotfix. Then launch the game fresh. And see if that even fixes my crashing issue.

Meanwhile my game at that point crashes completely. Black screens and I have to then hard reboot. I've only ever gotten as far as the guy getting his arm chopped. Mid dialogue the game will black screen yeah. Everything before then was fine. But I CANNOT for the life of me get past the torture dialogue. I can't. I have a USVFS log for anyone knowledgable to look at. No crash dump logs sadly. Base game runs great for hours but this mod. Even with the latest hotfix. Apparently it wants to commit toaster bathtub the moment I'm being tortured.

I was trying out a few of the different solutions people used by messing with the ini and turning off vsync and that clearly wasn't the solution for me because that only made the game run FASTER than before by a large margin.

I just tried stutter remover as I was told you could cap your frames with that mod but now the game for some reason refuses to launch at all. So... what other options do I have? Perhaps an ENB but I'm just not a fan of going through that hassle just to cap my frames.

I seriously need a mod to cap my frames. Game has no mods. I've tried turning off Vsync but alas to no avail because my game still runs at 165fps. Please, someone free me of this existence of being Sonic the crack snorting hedge hog for the game is damn near unplayable in this state.

Hello, I recently got a eye mod that I figured I'd use but I noticed a unique but annoying issue. A second default pair of eyes seems to be permamently loaded behind any custom eyes I have. No clue what is causing this really. I'm also having issues with seeing any particular custom eyes from one of my mods. They just don't show up. Even with all other eye mods disabled, They don't show up. Has anyone ever ran into this issue. I'm going to try validating my game files, then reinstall the racemenu to see if that fixes this issue.

I can't seem to find any tutorials that show how to convert Skyrim armors to Fallout 4. Know of any? I've looked through this list and can't seem to find any that showcase this step by step. One was close on the nexus but it was poorly done and I ended up failing pretty hard.

I'd love it for someone to add a killable NPC that looks creepily like Zuckerberg but have him called 'Cuckerberg'. Maybe place him near by the vault. I just really wana kill this POS in several ways then laugh at his corpse.

I noticed this game doesn't have an explosion of original followers, merely reskins of the current ones. Is it harder to make original followers in this game? I'd like to see some more original followers.

Hey, saw a mod a while back that enabled energy weapons to instead of turning enemies to ash but melt the flesh off their skeletons, I can't seem to find it. Help?

Hey... um... I have questionSo I've got this issue with skyrim running on my PC, I've got the Radeon RX 480 with 8Gbs, along with 8 Gigs of Ram. Should easily be able to run skyrim on ultra but for some reason it won't, I was wondering why this was the case but then I noticed that the skyrim launcher won't show my graphics adapter, could this possibly be why?And could there be a way to fix this to where the game will 'force use' my graphics card.Even the SKSE won't show my graphics adaptor

Yeah I'm using a save from before the install. What do you recommend?
