  1. I found this solution on the steam: Delete bin, engine, mods, r6, tools folders in the install location (basically, all the smaller sized folders). Then verify integrity of game cache.
  2. yup same for me. omg THAT is a disappointment wow
  3. Tease ppl with money and the ship will go down. My prediction: this community will split up. And thats the real shame. Not that some modders think they deserve monetary reward for their work. The fact that money destroys communities is proven once more. I hate it.
  4. As I still do have his latest version zipped on my harddrive, could I reupload it without disrespecting any nexus policies? I think that this mod was really great and its still working perfectly.
  5. Hey everyone, I have been using said mod for a long time but when I recently searched the nexus for it, it seems to have disappeared completely, even google didnt help. What this mod did was basically adding some subfolders (.../actors/character/meshes/unique and .../actors/character/textures/unique) and an .esp file which made it ridicilously easy to add meshes or textures to the player character exclusively. I personally had far less issues with this mod compared to "custom races" for example. I searched the whole zipfile on my harddrive, read all the readme files and could not find the authors name to ask for permission to reupload it. If anyone remembers that mod and the author, please contact me, so I can ask for permission directly. Thanks!
  6. After just having finished the (brilliant) Conan-mod I just wanted to wish you all the best on finishing Issgard one day. Im pretty sure its gonna be awesome. Take your time and thanks a lot for your great contribution already.
  7. Ive already posted this in the mod-troubleshooting section, but no one could help me. Ill try it here now: Hey everyone, Ive been playing modded skyrim with my character without problems for several months now, using BOSS after every installation, made clean saves and backups, checkin for errors or missing masters by using TESVEdit regularly and so on. Whenever I had a problem, I could easily solve it myself. Even though my game is running quite smoothly and without random ctds, I discovered two points in the game (precisely: in the Dark Brotherhood Questline), where I get a ctd all the time. 1. When I mount Shadowmere 2. When selecting a dialogue option at the last dialogue with Cicero in the Dawnstar Sanctuary. While I can skip Shadowmere without a problem by just taking an different horse ( I prefer Frost anyway ), I just cant finish the db questline anymore because of that Cicero-CTD. I tried to kill him before the dialogue option appears, I tried to disable/enable him, I loaded an older save and played almost 2 hours a second time before entering the sanctuary but nothing worked... Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be? or hwo I can still finish the questline? Thank y'all in advance!

  9. I found the problem finally! It was a conflict with the "unique character" mod. So after deactivating certain plugin, everythings working fine now. Thanks for your help!
  10. Waht I really dont get it is why I dont have the vanilla textures back after deinstalling the mod. My vampire lord stays invisible... So I thought better try playing without the retexture then, but not even this works. Can you tell me where the vanilla textures should be? Or do I have to reinstall dawnguard? Please no...
  11. Your question wasnt that stupid actually  , there was a data folder inside the data folder. I corrected that, but it doesnt work anyway. Not even with a new download and a nexus installation. Could you tell me the exact filepath for these textures? Nexus puts it in data/textures/actors/vampirelord right? The thing is that there wasnt a vampirelord folder before, whre the original vanilla textures should have been, is that correct? thanx for the help! Mine is "skyrim\Data\Textures\actors\vampirelord" so yeah, nexus used the right ones. hmm :/ maybe.. are you playing on ultra? i don't think that could be the course, but try if you're not. oh and textures are stored in .bsa files and not in folders, but by adding the folders, you can change the textures ingame. now that i remind myself. if you place the mod in your skyrim folder, the game should registrar a change. if you place the mod in here, but not in the data folder, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim" the mod has a folder structure like this: data/textures/actors/vampirelord so what you'll need to do is to place the textures folder inside the skyrim folder and not the data folder, sounds a little complicated. but it should look like this when you're done: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\textures\actors\vampirelord" notice how it isen't placed into the data folder, but you'll still need to have it in your data folder anyhow. the game should update the textures now. hope i didn't confuse you too much ^^' thanks a lot for the help man. Im gonna try this and give you a feedback later! edit: its still not working... any clue why it works on harkons textures but not on mine?

  13. hey everyone, i just installed this brilliant vampire lord retexture here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23775. I did it by dropping the data folder into "steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data" and after that didnt work by using the NMM and in both ways the same thing happened: The texture of my character as a vampire lord is completely missing, you just can see the armor pieces floating in the air, while the retexture works fine on harkon as a vampire lord. any suggestions what might cause this problem? Probably something with my characters' body? Like "Better Males" or the "unique character" mod? thx in advance!
