  1. Ah, that's why I couldn't find it on search. Major thanks! :D
  2. I heard a line from a couple wandering Stormcloaks for the first time the other day that caught me off guard and got a laugh from me: "Look's like we'll be eating rabbit again tonight. I'm getting tired of rabbit." "You be sure to let the commander know. I'm sure a boot in your arse will solve your troubles." It wasn't even the line itself that got me, it was more the completely straight and deadpan way the guy said it.
  3. Hey! I saw the pic you added on the Brows mod, and I just had to ask: Where did you get that wonderful Molag Bal necklace/pendant? :P
  4. Oh, is that how you do it? Derp, sorry, still haven't figured out all of the website's workings. :P I'm not hugely tech-savvy, if that isn't clear lol. Thanks, though! :)
  5. This may sound kinda dumb lol, but I found this user-submitted picture in the Brows mod that's currently under Hot Files on the Nexus homepage, and I could find the user to ask him/her about it. Does anyone know if and where to get this beautiful Molag Bal necklace/pendant/choker? http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/30411-1-1359070359.jpg Major thanks if anyone can find it! :)
  6. Oh hey, thanks for the props and the link! You have plenty of fantastic and gorgeous images, too! :D
  7. In that case forget about the Data folder part and just drop it in the "skyrim" folder after opening the "common" folder.
  8. Click the start button/Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your computer screen, on the right side click "Computer", then double-click "OS (C:)", then double-click "Program Files (x86)", then double-click "Steam", then "steamapps", then "common", then "skyrim", then "Data" and that's where you usually put files from mods. Which you do by downloading the file, extracting the files with a program like WinZip, which you extract either straight to the Data folder, or somewhere else and copy & paste those files to the Data folder (which I recommend, helps to have backups).
  9. Computer > OS (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > skyrim > Data That's where it installs by default, and most mods require you to put mod files in the Data folder.
  10. Well, it almost worked. I managed to get him to finish the fight and give me his sword to take to Eorlund, but was halfway up the stairs to the Skyforge when they all became hostile again. :/
  11. Not sure what you mean by the first part, like wait for him to attack first? Either way, I'll give it a shot. :)
  12. I've run into a pretty frustrating issue. Every time I try to join the Companions, I get up to the point where I train with Vilkas in the courtyard. I trade a couple blows with him, and then he and pretty much every single other Companion become hostile and try to kill me, including Eorlund. I've made sure to keep all my followers at home before trying, but they all turn hostile anyway. I thought it may have been because I was a vampire, so I went and got myself cured before trying again, but that didn't solve the problem. Anyone know what's wrong/how to solve the issue? I'd hate to start over again, because I've been able to get my character much farther than I have before. :/
  13. I only just found out about The Chill about a week ago. After a full year of playing the game through several different characters, I never knew that was up there, and I panicked a little when I was ambushed by the three ice atronachs on the way out. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, I'm almost positive there's some stuff I never found in Oblivion, and I know for a fact I didn't find everything in Morrowind.
  14. The ones in the dark? They're added to all vampires with Dawnguard installed. Meridia's temple, I believe, is halfway up the mountain west of Solitude.
  15. Well hey, thanks! :D You screenshots are pretty fantastic too!
  16. I don't think I can say just how baffling scripting is to me lol. :P I'm still a newbie with the CK, so I only really know super basic stuff, heh. I actually did try this before, but all I ended up doing was giving myself a migraine. Appreciate the help though! :D Also I love your sig lol.
  17. If that would be possible, I'd be extremely grateful. :) I like the idea behind the spell, but it's incredibly weak damage and the fact that it doesn't level destruction kinda kills it for me. Or even if it's not possible, just creating a new spell with the same effects but more powerful and able to increase destruction would be awesome. I'm more worried about the leveling part, since I do know how to change damage and all that in the Creation Kit myself, but I'm absolutely horrendous at scripting lol. It would just complete the whole vampire experience. :D So if either of those things are possible, I'd love it! :D
  18. Sweet, guess was a little worried about how they'd handle certain things like the battles of Whiterun and Solitude/Windhelm. Thanks! :D
  19. Just out of curiosity, thought I might let Serana tag along while I do the Civil War quests, her necromancer spells could be useful. In theory I can't think why followers would have problems with the quests, since the majority of them just involve killing X amount of people, but I've been surprised before so I thought I'd better ask first. Thanks!
  20. All right, I've downloaded and installed a fair few mods over the years for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, but when it comes to making my own, I'm a complete noob lol. So I've been kinda messing around in the Creation Kit and decided to do some spell-related stuff as practice. I figured some stuff out, like damage, casting type and whatnot. Only problem I'm having so far is getting a spell to level up a skill (destruction, in this case). Think anyone can give me a hand with that? There's probably an explanation somewhere that I'm too dumb to translate lol, so any help would be appreciated. :P
  21. I console commanded the setstage thing to skip the "collect moths" step, so I read the Scrolls without the moths. It worked, though I hit another quest-breaking bug at the end of Touching the Sky, and not sure if that was related to what I did or not.
  22. I realize I probably sound like an idiot asking this lol, but I'm not exceptionally tech-savvy. I've hit a number of borderline quest-breaking bugs in Dawnguard, some of which I'm told can only be solved by uninstalling and reinstalling Dawnguard. How do I go about doing so on PC with Steam? I wasn't sure if simply unchecking and rechecking the box in the Data Files window would work, and before I start messing with stuff, I figured I'd ask here, since Google didn't seem to help much. Again, apologies for sounding so dumb lol, but any help is appreciated.
  23. I was worried about trying that, because I ended up having to do that with a Dark Brotherhood quest a while back and that ended up breaking quest dialogue and therefore the quest itself. I actually did manage to get around it using the "enableplayercontrols" console command, since the vision cutscene seemed to refuse to re-enable player controls. I was able to talk to Serana and finish the quest, but now I have a bit of a side effect where the Ancestor Moths won't go away and are following me all the way to Darkfall Cave, heh. Not sure what to do about that yet.
  24. I really hate to be that guy to bump his thread, but I'm getting kind of worried since I've tried several things and I'm unable to do a single thing in the game after reading the Scrolls. Also, I was mistaken, I actually can't access all the menus, only the save game one and the console. No inventory, map, magic, stats, or favorites menu can be brought up.
  25. SPOILERS AHEAD!! Yep, found a number of bugs in Dawnguard already. :P Up until now they've all been fixable or bypass-able through console commands and whatnot, but I can't figure out this one. I'm doing Unseen Visions (vampire side), where you go to the Ancestor Glade to get that knife, get some bark, attract Ancestor Moths and read the Elder Scroll. Mostly went fine, got all seven groups of moths to follow me around, Serana mentioned how I'm glowing (which is an understatement, I'm walking around like a giant light bulb). But I step into the pillar of light to read the Blood Elder Scroll and something goes wrong. My character reads the Scrolls, I see the map with Markarth and Solitude highlighted in red, my vision goes all white and then I'm back in the Glade, but I can't do anything. I can't move, I can't even spin the camera around, only things I'm able to do are bring up my menus and shift between first- and third-person views. I tried reloading a save, but the same thing happened. Anyone know what's going on? Appreciate any help in advance! :)
