Importing from Youtube is now giving the error. The redirect URI in the request, https://www.nexusmods.com/games/ajax/googleaccess, does not match the ones authorized for the OAuth client.

In addition to my last post, even embedded videos on Mod pages are broken. Steam and Bethesda remove paid modding from Skyrim Workshop
PcPeter replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
I can't see as anybody won here. Bethesda: Despite their rhetoric, this still strikes me as greed on their part. If they really wanted people to make a living from mods, they should have taken a token cut of the proceeds. I for one will not be so eager to buy the next Bethesda title. Mod Authors: Seem to have been the sacrificial lambs on this experiment at future monetisation routes. Users: Files are being pulled down here daily now by modders. What ever title Bethesda release in the future, I can't see the modders here, who have pulled down their files, supporting it. The Nexus: For all the above reasons. Skyrim: My beautiful escapist world of Skyrim, now seems not so sullied by the real world. -

In response to post #24694209. I don't so much mind Valve taking 30%, that is their business model. Bethesda taking 45% though, for authors that effectively extend the life of, and promote their game, that is just pure greed. -

The fact that mods here keep locking forum threads on popular mods is making the situation worse. Take the SKYUI forum for instance, now locked and impossible to ask a support related question in. In fact, seeing as I could probably get support over on Steam for this mod, that is where I am most likely to go now!
