No, you're not understanding me, it's the POV, not the height of the character, I am looking down from 10 feet, the char height is normal.
-
I am having a problem with the 1st and 2nd person POVs. Both are for a character about 9 feet tall. The particular mod is Children of the Sky so the POV should be child height. I tried fiddling with the skyrim.ini file but this hasn't helped. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution which they could share? Thanks in advance...

Thanks for your response. I discovered a solution completely by accident which I thought I would share with you. I find that when I enter an area with a bad frame rate, I go Map and leave it for a moment until the FPS is over 50, then toggle it off, I find then that the frame rate bounces back to about 30 FPS which is fine.

I wonder if anyone can offer me advice about the FPS problem I am experiencing? I am running a quad 4 I7 processor with 6mb of RAM. I have a decent Nvidia card, a legitimate copy of Windows. Normally my FPS runs between 30 - 60. My problem is that in Whiterun, Riften and Solitude (in Solitude this is in the town and the docks) my FPS drops to 6 - 8. Occasionally it will comfortable run in these areas at about 25 which I am ok with, but it's erratic. I have the normal spread of mods, Frostfall, AFT, Convenient Horses, Climates of Tamriel, SKYUI etc but I am not overloaded. Even when I disable the town enhancements, it does nothing to improve my framerate. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution?

I love the wilderness survival element of the game, Frostfall and Random Alternate Start create an entire game-within-the-game. The regular fur armor I find a bit cave-mannish, and I am not really crazy about the studded or hide armors, they don't quite capture the flavour I am looking for.. Would some kind soul make a few mods to the rough-spun gear? This is basic sleeveless starter gear. It's almost perfect but it would just be so much better with long sleeves, all the holes repaired, an armor rating of 22, and craftable at a tanning rack.

Got it, but I want my mule back ):

I think that one of my all time fav mods in Oblivion were the three pack mules located at Skinrad. They were the answer to a maiden-with-a-small-handbag's prayer. Is there any one of you talented modders than can port that mod into Skyrim? I will have your babies if you do (fingers crossed behing back)

Can any of you folks recommend a realistic needs mod that doesn't require gourmet cooking recipes or sexy utensils? What I am trying to say is that in terms of wilderness survival, you don't need ingredients to knock up survival food? Meat can be cooked on a stick over an open fire, vegetables and herbs only require a container on a fire. Salt is nice but not essential. One can keep going on fruit and even raw vegetables indefinitely. Obviously one needs water. A simple fatigue was factored in where you needed at least 6 hours a day, and believe it or not in mild weather one can sleep on the ground without a comfy fur-lined sleeping bag and tent. Anyone know of such a mod?

Would you be kind enough to post me that file please? I keep getting "no servers available" from Nexus ): [email protected]

Thanks so much ((: My next request is can you point me at a good tutorial so I don't have to bother you?
-
That would be awesome ((: If you could make it the same as leather armor (26) and a leather helmet (12) giving an overall armor rating of 38. Take the enchantment off, otherwise it will be a bit overpowered I think. Maybe the materials would be linen wraps and leather, but I will leave that up to you. Craftable and upgradable at any forge with a steel smithing perk. You've really made my day...

There is the most amazing Dunmer outfit in Dragonborn DLC. It give 75% magic regen which is nice for mages but it really is the most awesome, hooded light armor. Can any one of you clever folks do a standalone craftable, upgradable light armor set in a couple of colors? Preferably with a high armor rating because the hood is part of the gear and prevents the addition of head protection. See attachment. xxx Fille

Could some kind soul please either give me the console commands or point me at the right webpage. My problem is that the primary mission won't trigger. I went out of sequence in that I discovered the barrow with the Dragonstone and retrieved it. I then had such a ball hunting and doing other missions that my character was quite developed by the time I spoke to Gerdur in Riverwood and she sent me to the Jarl in Whiterun. The problem is that he won't react to me at all. He's got the arrow above his head, and I am challenged by his Dark Elf bodyguard, but she does not respond either. I am sure that there must be a way of telling the programme that that particular part of the mission is done, so I can start the main missions... My other question is I had a dog for a brief time as a companion, but he was too noisy and was taking all my kills. I uninstalled him and when I tried to recruit another dog (Atari the Husky in Falkreith) he wouldn't join because I was still flagged as owning a dog already. How do I unflag this? Please bear in mind that I am not the brightest crayon in the box, so if anyone does take the trouble to help me, please keep it simple and clear.. Thanks in advance Fille

Does anyone have a solution to this new bug that's developed where every time you kill a dragon there is an immediate CTD? It really sucks!
-
Lord knows I love this game but I just wish there weren't so many bugs.... The latest problem is that the Dragons aren't toasting so therefore my avatar is unable to harvest dragon souls. This started with my old character, so I removed all new mods, ran BOSS, started a new character, got to the first dragon and the problem was still there. Has any other player experienced this problem and can offer a solution, I really don't want to do ANOTHER re-install 'cos my inet connection is not great and Steam is such an unutterable pain. P.S. My copy is legit and registered. Thanks in advance

\Would someone be kind enough to please give me the complete console command to end the "Touching the Sky" mission, it has irritated the bloody heebie jeebies out of me and I just want it over. Thanks in advance

I was doing a nostalgic walk on the Oblivion Nexus and I revisited the pack donkeys, Groucho, Chico, Harpo and Zeppo at the Chorral stables. This was one of the best mods ever. Is the no chance of some talented modder bringing them into Skyrim?
-
Can someone please answer a question for me? Do you have to get to a certain level or kill Alduin before the mod starts? I installed it, started a new avatar, started the main story-line immediately and am waiting for something Dragonbornish to happen. My avatar is not yet L20. Tks in advance.

I am not crazy about RND. I have Frostfall installed, along with Wet and Cold, plus SkyTEST Realistic Animals & Predators, and Basic Human Needs. I don't think that "set timescale" is the answer that I am looking for, that just kinda syncs gametime wih realtime depending on the setting entered, the command I need directly affects the game speed itself. And I kinda rely on auto and quick saves and because of this I had to trash on of my avatars, I know I should save more often... :wallbash:

I have a really annoying bug that occasionally rears it's ugly head. Time goes crazy, the sun races across the sky, night and day blur into one. Your avatar is moving at normal speed but it's like being in total slow motion. And with immersion mods, in three deep breaths your avatar has died from a combination of sleep deprivation and thirst. Would some kind soul please post the console command to fix this pretty please? :wallbash:

Getting the same thing on Chrome and IE, "access denied".
