  1. I would really like to see a foraging mod. The inhabitants of Skyrim are like real Townies and all the mods make the same mistake of creating a total dependence on the cities and towns. I would like to see avatars with the ability to survive in the wilderness, to drink from streams, to roast meat on an open fire, to forage berries, roots and nuts from their environment. This would include the ability to create weapons and armor and to build a primitive forge from clay and stone to create better equipment. They should be able to create water-bottles, backpacks etc including furniture and log cabins to live in. Maybe even the ability to capture and break in a wild horse? Frostfall came close to this but I would like a total wilderness experience.
  2. "help game 3" will show you the current values of global variables GameDay, GameYear and GameHour. "set gamehour to 9" will set the time to 9am on the current day. "set gamehour to 18" will set it to 6pm on the current day. "set gamehour to 36" will set it to noon on the following day. That's very helpful, thank you
  3. Does anyone know how the console command to change the time?
  4. I have this problem with the CK. Every time I create a follower, or modify one, their heads are very dark and in contrast to their light body tones, kinda like a Nord body with a Redguard head from the neck up. Has anyone else got this problem? Antone out there how can point me at a fix? I am running the latest update. Thanks in advance Fille
  5. I run the "Basic Human Needs" mod, as well as "Hunting in Skyrim", "Realistic Wildlife" and "Realistic Wildlife Loot - Realistic". The problem that i experience is that certain foods don't seem to register as food, in other words they do nothing to satisfy hunger. These include Mammoth, Saber Cat, Wolf, Fox, Goat, Deer, Bear, Elk, Mudcrab Grouse and a few others. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance Meredith
  6. Can some kind soul please tell me how to fix the problem with the head discoloration which you get sometimes in CK when you make an NPC follower?? What happens is from the neck up they look like a chocolate easter bunny. Thanks in advance Fille
  7. I hope someone out there can help me with this. The problem is when I create a character the window is too big for my screen and I can't resize it although the cursor does change when its on the edge. The window I refer to is when you double click on a character name and the big edit window with all the stats and the preview window opens. I can't access the preview window at all, nor the save button at the bottom. I suspect that it is a setting in the skyrim editor.ini Thanks in advance Fille

  9. Is there a mod out there which modifies the behaviour of the folks with arrows sticking out of them? What I mean is that when your character is sneaking around a barrow, and she pops an arrow into the nearest bandit/draugr whatever, the bandit/draugr starts a cursory search (he has got an arrow stuck in his skull) then announces something to the effect that whatever he heard must be his imagination, then returns to whatever he was doing (with the arrow still stuck in his skull). I am looking for a mod that is a bit more believable, like he keeps looking 'cos his head hurts and the arrow sticking in his head tells him that it was not his imagination......
  10. Incidentally, I love your elvish warswords.
  11. Thanks for taking the time to respond, will look at your suggestions. Please post a link to your signature tutorial, I searched the forum but found nothing. Thanks again Peace Meredith
  12. There are a couple of things I could use some help on. First off, how does one make an item upgradeable at the smithy? What I mean is that I can change already item from heavy to light armor, change the stats, the price etc to reflect the fact that it is light armor, but when I go to the workbench to upgrade it, it doesn't appear. Where do I find this setting? The next question is how do I put this into an existing merchants stock so that I can buy it? The last question is how does one go about making it a craftable item in the smithy? I don't use cheats and am very lore abiding so I don't want to just dump it in the nearest chest so it miraculously appears for my avatar. If anyone can either answer these questions, or point me at a site where the answers are I would be awfully grateful. Peace Meredith
  13. Well apparently the inhabitants of Morrowing protect their eyes using goggles with resin lenses and if the Dwemer can make robots I really don't see a problem.
  14. There were two terrific Oblivion mods which were absolute favorites of mine and I would love to see them on Skyrim. One was a big riding mule with storage on it, and the other was a choice of one of three pack donkeys.
  15. Can anyone please tell me how do you flag an object in an interior space as free for anyone to take? When I place an object, I get the red hand cursor warning me that I am stealing it. Sorry about the silly question but I am new to modding and I promise that the questions will get harder. :teehee: Peace and thanks in advance Fille
  16. Can anyone please tell me, or point me at a tutorial which will (a)show me how to tweak a character's stats the same way I can do to my personal character when I select combat or stealth or magic, and then select the 7 skills. (b) Explain how to get a partner to do certain things with magic, for example create a healer which will keep a party on it's feet and heal an individual character when he is injured. © Provide me with an index explaining the spells, they are a bit confusing for someone like me who knows very little about programming and such like. Thanks in advance Fille
  17. "While he's not quite as stable as Neeshka (likely because of being built off of CM Partners), I heartily recommend Valtierro for a fun companion with a lot of depth. He also fit's the bill of a "normal, strong human;" He's pretty much the archetypical bodyguard. Edit: While not exactly a big strong bodyguard type (actually more of a thiefy type), Companon Fergus is also pretty darn good." Thanks for the tip. I tried Fergus, he is good but that voice...eeek. I like the looks of Valierro, nice and masculine, most of the others, good as they are, look like refugees from a boy band. Peace
  18. I would sincerely appreciate a nice male companion as stable and reliable as Neeshka. 99% of the companions are either foxy girls or weird elfs or orcs whatever, but as a girl I would really like a nice normal strong human man to take care of my magic-user in a scrap. Peace Fille
  19. I would really appreciate an additional service in one or more of the Magic oriented shops whereby they could enchant weapon or an item for you, obviously for a price. Sometimes it just such a beastly drudge having to run around Cyrodill trying to locate Grand soul gems and then having to do magical training just to enchant a favourite weapon or piece of jewelry. Thanks in advance Peace Fille
