  1. Please support my family on Patreon. I have spent a decade modding and supporting mods and modders. I am a single parent of 2 small children so anything you can donate or becoming a patron would be a huge help to my family! https://www.patreon.com/realistic_lighting_overhaul
  2. In response to post #61093447. #61098347, #61100232, #61100767, #61101667, #61112377, #61114392, #61125577 are all replies on the same post. Thanks for the update. Well my mod is 6 years old now - so it's expected to see a decline from month to month. I am not asking for the 5000dp back, as I understand it was just a bug. :) Shame I am not really well enough to update it further or make another mod. If only my 2 million or so unique downloads over the 6 years would have counted for anything, but I cannot complain. This Nexus community saved my life and im not just talking about money.
  3. In response to post #61093447. #61098347, #61100232, #61100767, #61101667 are all replies on the same post. I hope Dark0ne or someone else can explain it a little better. 5000 dp may not sound like much, but thats $60 or so over the course of a year. I am a pensioner (disability) and a single dad of 3. You would be amazed how helpful $60 is to my family (especially if it's $60 US).
  4. I am a little confused as my DP points went down by about 5000 and one of my mods now does not appear on May Report. Why did my download count DROP on the May Report? I understand DP value changes and it should really be going up due to the Patreon, but I am a little confused how a finalised report can change. Anyone else notice this? (edited, removed my donation tab question as I noticed Donations tab is still there but lower in the page. I think it needs to be at the top bar so it's easier to see for mod users).
  5. In response to post #46355360. ...no need to be like that.
  6. Hi, pls Read my PM
  7. Congratulations to the team for this fantastic feat. The modders on the Nexus are truly skilled and inspiring people. I for one admire James from Climates of Tamriel. Such a great guy and very down to Earth. Also Arthmoor, such a hard worker and brilliant modder - very all rounded. Once again grats guys! Regards, Tony P.s. Will the game be moddable? lol j/k! :D
  8. I love the little stories and journeys that modding takes us through. If it wasn't for modding I would not be alive today. If it wasn't for modding, I would not have the friends I have today. Great article! #modderslife
  9. Wish I could do some voice acting (Australian accent) or help with lighting if needed. I think doing this would be less stressful than running my own mod - and for a bigger purpose - a community made remake of a gorgeous game.
  10. In response to post #34120820. #34125460, #34130995 are all replies on the same post. Oh, I also seem to have missing textures where I can see the vacant world below the cell. I have only experienced it inside Corvega thus far. I think it might be an issue with texture mods rather than the update - possibly. However this issue and the ones I mentioned above have been rare - but performance wise the game looks and plays a lot better with this patch.
  11. In response to post #34107225. #34110340, #34110380, #34113860, #34117570, #34123370, #34125160, #34131120 are all replies on the same post. Why would he be lying? I mean he totally could be, but people usually post to report a problem or to complain. Posts to actually praise something are rare. So maybe we should just trust it? I want to backup his claims. I have 184 mods installed, run every 4k texture I can find - 4k helps immensely on a 55'' Low latency Sony TV (17ms) - as seen below; http://www.displaylag.com/display-database/ When I first installed this latest patch I got a tonne of CTD's - my first ever with Fallout 4. It soon was discovered that Gore Overhaul was to blame. Prior to patch, on everything Ultra I would average about 50fps with a i7 2600k @ 5.0gz, 16gb ram and a GTX980 (Gigabyte G1) - and low fps was around 35-40fps. I had to play with Shadow quality and distance medium and god rays to high to get a smooth 60fps with lowest fps of 58. I now play with everything ultra, even the new ambient occlusion and particle effects on ultra and I get 60fps everywhere. I also removed a lot of the old tweaks from my ini files as I feel they were not needed anymore (such as texture loading edits etc). My loading times have improved, albeit by not much - but on average by about 5 to 7 seconds. To get the most out of your game I would recommend using vanilla ini files with the new patch and then only edit things you need (fov, camera edits etc) and completely avoid performance ini changes. Don't do the texture load edits, don't add edits to use all threads or thread the different components of the engine. Avoid increasing gridstoload, grass distance, view distances past ultra. Don't touch things like bforcesmoothness (which has NOTHING to do with your mouse)...also be careful using things like the Geforce guide to tweaking FO4, as while most of the edits there each only consume 1-5 frames per second, eventually the 8-9 edits they recommend eat up 10-20 fps! The guys who make those tweaks have a gtx980ti as their reference guide - so be wary. These edits will only slow down your game - trust me! I wish the best of luck to the rest of you - happy gaming! Regards, Tony P.S If you guys have a Nvidia card, try changing max pre rendered frames to 1 and see if that improves any fps, or try a lower setting like 4. Lower settings will help remove stutters but increase input lag. Another neat trick that increased some fps for me and eliminated stuttering was playing in fullscreen windowed mode. Lastly, try to untick motion blur and see if that helps or not. Take care all!
  12. In response to post #34120820. #34125460 is also a reply to the same post. I sometimes see textures either flicker or disappear depending on how I pan the camera. I tried the same save with the backup exes and data (without the new update) and the issue doesn't happen. Sometimes when I lower the ambient occlusion or shut it off, it diminishes the issue. I am thinking this might be a cumulative problem with AO + the updated way the game renders/loads textures upon getting into the cell (from a load screen).
  13. In response to post #34125875. That is an old problem man, if you use NMM and launch from there it will be fine.
  14. In response to post #34075930. Backup all your saves. Now load up your save and check each facet of the game which you have modded. Check dialogue, check your armor paints, check textures, check weapons, look at your inventory, weapon damage etc... You don't have to turn anything on or off, just play for a while - testing the save, but don't save on anything you don't wish to destroy. :P
  15. In response to post #34079885. #34080760, #34081435, #34081525, #34081825, #34082030 are all replies on the same post. Yeh, they are files not in folders, usually found below the folders - loose files. Individual files, they will have the word flag in them - which cause CTD apparently. I wonder what happens to the file the game was expecting if it was part of a mod, will we see purple textures or what not?
